Hi All,I made a small program for my hw dcu to capture the (undocked) dcu panel and stream it to an old laptop that has a tv out. Hello Everybody! I'm using the 737NGX for a while,unnecessary to say how cool is that. After a few weeks far from FSX, yesterday I updated my database and decided to make a flight, and unfortunately faced a few problems: Initially the IRS was not aligning, after looked all details, I realized that coordinates, at POS INIT page were separated by a "comma", not by a "point", great, I have manually inserted the coordinates separated by "point" and voila, it aligned...right after that, I received a message of "IRS INIT/POS DISAGREE". That's were the headache begins, the coordinates of all airports are mentioning only the "degrees" like that: KLAX N33°00.00' / W118°00.00…

In FSX in Settings | Customize | Aircraft, checkbox "Show Cockpit ToolTips" is unchecked yet in the NGX cockpit I am getting pilot tips being displayed.....like I need to start the engines....really !!! Is this a NGX thing or is there some other FSX option that needs to be turned-off ? Thanks, Zach

Just got Windows 8.1 machine, installed FSX, SP1 and SP2, and the NGX 800/900 base package plus SP1c. All went well until I tried adding liveries, 2 issues: 1. When I start the Livery Manager and point it to the directory with the PTP files, I can only see one PTP file but not the rest. 2. I then added the one livery I could see (AA), no issues or error messages. However, the new livery is not visible in FSX. I then checked the aircraft.cfg file and the entry is there. I never saw this problem before, any ideas ? Thanks, Zach

Well i just got my first failure, the master caution light came on with the HYD on the FO side illuminated. pretty neat thing to be honest better get the QRH out lol Share your failures here, would be good to hear your experiences.... forgot to mention, had the low pressure and overheat illuminated on the hydraulic panel on the overhead.

How do i update FMC with new airac cycle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,old airac upon purchase what gives?

Bonjour, I am new to TOPCAT and 737NGX, and I was wondering why the Mac% differs between them. Finally I realized that when we enter the number of passengers in the FMC, there is an algorithm, which distributed them into the 3 stations in a random manner. For example if we enter several times the same number of passengers, the FMC CG position is never the same. So as this dispatch is not known and is not accessible through FSX variables, there is no chance to have the same MAC % between TOPCAT and the FMC. Just want to know if somebody can confirm this. When flying the 1st tutorial flight for the PMDG 737ngx (using the FS2Crew addon) the system crashes a few minutes after take Off. The error msg simply says "MSF has stopped working" and they will search from problem solution. This problem occurs at 2.6 nm short of the Detling VOR (DET) along the route EGKK-EHAM. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this problem. Thanks!

I can not figure out how to turn off the morse code identification beep when tuning in to and ILS. It is getting quite annoying and have ht every combination of buttons on the radio panel I could think of. Help is appreciated!

I'm getting dithered textures in the displays on the ngx. Tried resetting my fsx.cfg and I have tried different anisotropic settings. My textures are on max and vc tex on max. This is with the latest nvidia drivers. I have tried reinstalling the ngx. What could be wrong here? The dithering and subsequent moire shows up on the display background.

My NGX followed FMC high alt. cruising speed at 0.78 Mach, but PFD speed tape stopped by 268 Knots(red dots over 270 Knots). PFD speed was 0.78 Mach, and tape at 268 Knots. My PFD speed tape always shows red dots over 340 Knots. I can't figure out what is wrong with that. I think, it is the matter of setup or preprogramming. Any idea why, please ?

Hi, I am fly the ngx and I am doing an autoland into yssy sydney 16r and I have done this autoland countless times on the same runway and same aircraft. But it's recently started to crash the plane. The aircraft follows the glideslope normally and at about 300ft the glideslope diamond suddenly moves and the aircraft tries to correct it by going nose down and it crashes, HELP. I haven't installed any afcads or changed anything in fsx. It only happens at yssy 16l and 16r, nowhere else

Hi everyone, I reinstalled my fsx and now i can not activate my PMDG NGX. It say's: The axtivation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation policy because max extra activations exceeded. [incident# 7289-1464334] Hope someone can help me! Do i need to email PMDG, so yes what is the email of them? Or can some of you help me out?! Kind of regards, Jorick

I purchased the PMDG 737NGX a year ago and just now trying to become familiar with it's functions. When I start up the plane, the Auto Pilot Mode Control panel is blank. The course, IAS/MACH, altitude, etc, is blank. With the PMDG 747 and 777, I can select the settings when the APU is activated and put in my desired settings, but not with the 737. I have gone through the manuals and tutorials, but I am at a lose. I also checked forums but cannot find anything for what I am experiencing. Is there a fix for this or can I be directed in the manuals to get it working, or a shortcut for amateur users like myself?

how come the fmc won't let me put in the MZFW in the 739?the max should be 149.0

Folks, today I flew the NGX, which I had installed and activated last year on my new PC. For the first time ever a window popped up today, advising me only to use the NGX according to the license granted by PMDG. Additionally, notepad was started automatically to display the NGX license to me? Never noticed that before, never heard of that, does anyone know why this happened and how it might have been triggered?!? Thanks!!
