PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

After setting-up the FMC fully for a flight KJFK à KLAX, the fuel qty. and DTG for KLAX in FMC | PROG was 4.2 and 2168 NM respectively. When I checked these same parameters for the ALTN DEST airport KLGB (Long Beach, about 20-30 NM from KLAX), fuel qty. was 14.2 and DTG 2136 NM. I would think that the fuel qty. difference between KLAX and KLGB would be minimal since the difference in DTG is small. What are possible causes for this larger than expected difference ? Hi I am having some issues with my PMDG 737 NGX product i have recently purchased GSX (Ground Service X) To use the feature you have to have the engines off i can turn the engines off but i cant turn them back on again it might be that i am just turning then off wrong but i don't know how to turn the engines back on . i have used you tube to help me but it doesn't work may thanks Declan Farrant

NB: Please be aware that this post is referring to an initial test. There is an anomoly with the loading of external textures on the NGX that some people experience and others don't. It's when changing to an external view of the aircraft after sitting in the VC and experiencing a delay in the loading of the external textures, resulting in the classic 'skeleton' aircraft for a split second, but in some cases this can be a couple of seconds. While this can happen for several reasons, the most commonly accepted cause is that the textures and addon being flown at the time are simply very resource hungry, hence the delay. Good evening, pilots! I recently noticed after using FS2Crew that the PMDG 737NGX SDK does not load in FSX multiplayer environments. I recently tested this using my own code and found that while the code worked perfectly in single player, it failed to load any data in a multiplayer LAN server. All other SimConnect data and FSUIPC offsets work fine. I've done the following steps to identify issue: Binding a key to Re-Simconnect in FSUIPC (this actually killed SimConnect altogether) Monitored offset 0x642E (Service Interphone Sw). Value changes to 0x1 when switch is toggled in single player, but it remains as 0x0 in multiplayer. Is this a known issue? Are …

hi all The problem i have is with the mouse it is not able to operate the fuel cut off for the engines , or any of the switches in the overhead panel , it can work the knobs and a few of the switches , but when i try to use the cut offs i get the little hand icon , but it does not work it . i have reset the flight and reset the views , but it is driving me nuts. i am sure it must be a easy fix , as i can use it on any other aircraft ok , but the one the problems are with is the one for the va i use could it be a zoom in out setting it is holding for the switch to operate ? thanks in advance for any replies Rich B

I just purchased the boxed version of this A/C and am having a number of issues. FSX has crashed several times when trying use this plane. If I save/load a flight, or reload it the pop up view panels change layout and functions and none of the switches etc respond. The plane is just dead. I can not keep the sim functioning long enough to get off the ground. If I am not using this plane FSX works smoothly with no issues. I have installed the sc1 service pack. For the longest time, my flight simming style could best be described as "very casual". I relied heavily on freeware aircraft such as the TDS 737 and POSKY 747 for most of my flights, as well as payware aircraft such as the CLS A330/340 and the line of Virtualcol products. Most of my flights were flown for my VA, Phoenix Virtual, and consisted of nothing too advanced besides "CTRL+E, F4, AP ON, CTRL+SHIFT+F1". Hey! i just bought 737-800/900 and i was looking forward too start flying again... but i have a problem.. i start fsx:se and then choose the pmdg 737-800 and allow all DLL's but i dont get a activation window up so i cant activate it... any clues why i cant? or any fixes?

Hadn't seen this until tonight. ORD to DCA with the fredm1 arrival and RNAV 19 approach. Seems to overload the vnav path calculations.

I wanted to share this.... using the ASN (open beta) and latest Orbx installers for P3Dv2.5:

In the FCTM it says If VREF + 20 knots exceeds landing flap placard speed minus 5 knots, use landing flap placard speed minus 5 knots. Now if my vref is 139 kts and i had winds at 02016G18KT and runway 03, i would add half the headwind (8 kts) plus the full gust (12 kts) = vref + 20 kts and i should bleed off the headwind and land with the full gust of 12 kts. Now as the title says, if VREF + 20 knots exceeds landing flap placard speed minus 5 knots. so should i only add 15 kts? because vref 139 plus 20 is 159 kts and that has exceeded 20 kts. but i just don't get it, why do you minus 5 knots if you have more than 20 kts above your landing speed of 159. so what…

Hi everyone, I just finished my first official full flight on the NGX after weeks of training/circuits! What a treat! The only snag: somewhere during my flight I noticed that the virtual cockpit overhead panel textures had gone somewhat blurry (i.e. the text) - and same with the FMC buttons when I zoomed into the FMC with EZDOC. Has anyone experienced this? What could be the possible cause? I'm running NVidia GTX465, and i7 3.3 GHz 10 GB RAM. Thanks,Sam Kharey

Hey! I yesterday buy a box version of PMDG 737 NGX. I started install. There was no activation window. I saw ,, Instalation successly complete'' . When i run FSX (Steam Edition) and select the aircraft. The aircraft was completly freezed. I coudn't click anythink. Help me guys! My computer: Windows 8.1 FSX Steam Edition

I just got the NGX and I have fallen head over heels for it, and I would love to fly around in the aircraft that shuttled me to and from Amsterdam so often when I was young (we always seemed to get PH-BXP for some reason). Hi all, i've finished a lot of flights with the 737ngx but since yesterday i have a Major issue with this product. Fist of all - i changed or installed nothing so i don not understand why this is Happening since yesterday. I use Pro ATC X and created a flightplan - when i start flightsim, in the plane at the departe Airport i want to load the flightplan into the fmc. Normaly this is done by route - co route and select the flight - for example LOWWEGLLCLR BUT when i press execute the Simulation freezes - the mousepointer changes into a hand and thats it... freeze - only taskmanager allows me to kill the application.... Hi all, I noticed recently that on the ground at FSDT's KLAX (only at night), the PMDG's lights illuminate runways with a blue appearance. The issue doesn't occur on taxiways, nor does it occur during the day. Only at night. As recently as 1-2 weeks ago I was having zero issues, however I noticed several days ago that I had unsightly blue textures on my runways. I did a simple test with the Level-D 767 and the issue was gone. This leads me to believe the issue lies with the lighting in the PMDG. Not sure what could be causing the issue, especially considering the fact that the issue was nonexistent as recently as two weeks ago. The only thing that has changed in the …

Hello, I'm having a problem with the cabin lights in the PMDG 737NGX. I have searched the forum but coudn't find a solution. The cabin lights won't show from the outside at night. All my AI traffic does show the cabin lights, but not my aircraft. I've tried several liveries including the original PMDG. In the menu of the FMC I've tried all the setting for the lights (auto, manual, 0-100%). Nothing works. Everything else works pefect. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey all, I've had the 737NGX for a number of years but after having a computer incapable of running FSX, I've recently had the chance to upgrade. My question is when setting the FMC up for take off settings, I get completely lost. I've followed the first tutorial and I fancy chancing my arm at my own flight from Leeds to Zurich. I've created a flight plan online which I've implemented, however setting the engine performance just seems abhorrant to me. Is there anyway of calculating what I need to use or is it a case of trial and error?
