Just a quick thank you for the NGX update. WX radar and terrain looks great. I found I didn't have to down load the 600/700 update as they had everything after just doing the ngx800/900 download.

Hello, I have installed the 737 successfully and after loading it for the first time I have entered successfully my licence key. It then initialises but then after about 10 seconds the panel freezes. (I can still move with the mouse the hud for example but there is no data on it). When I reload P3D i am again asked to activate the airplane. *Before installing the plane I have run all simconnect from the P3D folder *I run the PMDG 777 without any problem Thanks for your help Anthony Brichart

G'day All Just a quick question regarding the recent update. My 737 has 19hrs left before it's 250hr maintenance is due. If i update using the new full intstall am I going to lose my hours flown? as I have it set to realistic failures and don't want it to be set back to 250hrs Regards Daren Flew Australia

Hi Folks, Sorry to disturb you but I've tried with the "search" button but I can't find anything... After the upgrade during my test flight when I tried to insert three wind level into descent forecast page (i.e. FL240 030/20: FL120 020/20 6000 020/10) my FMC doesn't accept any altitude input deleting my digits... When I press "b" to set the altimeter at cruising altitude (which I have to do frequently because it keeps getting off), the autopilot does not correct my altitude even if I'm 1000 feet off. The only way to get it to climb or descend is to turn VNAV off and then turn it back on again. Now, if I turn off VNAV for the cruise phase and turn on ALT hold instead, everything works perfectly, but aren't you supposed to leave it on VNAV? I'm used to flying the 757 and 767 (Captain Sim), where VNAV worked much like ALT hold at cruising altitude. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but what is it?Thanks,boeing247

Hello I just installed my 737ngx- se it looks great, flys great but when I exit fsx it crashes, I have tried flying and loading my other aircraft and they all work fine, I have had my pmdg in normal fsx for years with no problems but I had to get a new computer with windows 8.1 and use fsx steam which has been great so far but for my new fresh installed 737 ngx any idea,s please. I downloaded it at 12 oclock today with se update. many thanks as always..

When using 737NGX, in FSX, and loading "short" at state in FMC, I cant get the APU running, even if the fuel pumps are on! And I have no failures set, but I still cant get the APU started, and do get "APU severe failure" message under "failures" in the FMC!? Please help to solve this!

I get to the end of tutorial 1 and end up crashing every time on the runway. My question is can I go back halfway and fly the end of the tutorial instead of starting over every time? Also will the autoland really land the aircraft? That is where I am digging holes in the runway. I have tried 3 times today and have the tutorial pretty well memorized, but ability is not there. I am getting ready to install the new 1d update, and obviously I want to do a clean install if possible. My issue is that I have many many key commands mapped to my HOTAS Warthog and Cougar MFDs. Is there a way to keep these key mappings through the upgrade? A file I can copy someplace and then copy back? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, i am trying to do some training, mainly on landing the beast, is it possible with the NGX to do a touch and go without losing FMC Data? if so how, also will the A/P say on in CWS mode?

Hello Colleagues, I had a strange issue with the fonts on the attitude panel fonts - see http://www.b737.org.uk/pressurisation.htm for what I mean. The fonts displayed was the same fontset as http://forum.avsim.net/topic/459433-pmdg-ngx-737-900ngx-heading-numbers/ but only in the presurisation panel. The fix however was the same, copy the fonts over from the PMDG folder to the Windows\fonts folder and reboot. Voila Jude

Thank you very much for this update. I fell in love all over again with the NGX. I am wondering is there no company data link like in the 777? I haven't had a chance to do a proper long range flight. So I am wondering if anyone has seen this. Thanks.

Hello everyone,I know this is not the right section but there is an error if I try to go in to " contact us " feature.I've installed the ngx on my home pc 2 times. Now I'm with my laptops and when I try to eneter the serial it says limit exceeded... What Can I do? Also, i'm going to buy a new laptop, so I'll install everything in there. Do I need to buy another copy??Thanks

When I purchased my 737NGX I never received the download for the Operations Center. Does anyone happen to know how I can download this? I submitted a support ticket already, thought I'd try here as well.

Hey fellows I have a question for you!!...I have the PMDG 737NGX, running on FSX, 1,2 MB of Nvidia GTX470, 8 GB RAM, Intel I5, Windows 7 64 bits, and for weather I'm using Active Sky Next. Sometimes when I'm starting the final approach the speed increase and decrease constantly, this is very annoying because at final app it's supposed the speed must decrease, for instance yesterday I did a flight from Tromso to Vienna and the speed for final app couldn't decrease less than 240 kias, and the speed tape showed up decrease and increase, finally I got to turn over and try to decrease the speed leveled to 2500 ft. so I could finally land. What happen?....maybe is the winds…

Hi, I re-downloaded the 737 NGX in order to get the update (SP1d version 1.10.6346), but everything looks extacly the same as in SP1c, and when I click "WXR" on the EFIS, it doesn´t show on the ND!!

Just purchased/downloaded/installed the NGX for P3D but upon selection of the aircraft and enter my activation code (provided via email) i get an error message that says: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence. Appears the plane loads up but nothing is usable no click points. ** I've downloaded using the operations centre several liveries under the P3D NGX category, but nothing is showing up. thought i'd try here first - i'm off to generate ticket for further support/advice cheers r clading

Hi, I was reading the NGX product page for Prepar3d and it says it does not include 2d panels but how come the screenshots shows 2d panel? Is it included or not included? Thanks, Brian Pogorek

I have flown the NGX since it came out and have probably 1500 hrs in it. But I have not flown the tutorials because I am not familiar with flying in Europe nor do I have any of the European charts. I have gotten by with some of the YouTube tutorials and Mike Ray's book. What I was wondering, are most of PMDG's customers in Europe and that is why the tutorials are flown there? As an aside I recently bought Aerosoft's A320-321 and to my chagrin their tutorials are also in Europe, but understandable as they are a German company, also you can only use Kgs and not Lbs, you have to do the conversions yourself. Just wondering. Jerry

Hello, I just got a new GTX960 video card and setup 3 monitors using Nvidia surround. All seems well until I hit a pop-up panel and it is stretched out of proportion. Also, I now get a flashing cursor that will not go away. Does anyone have a fix for these problems? I own the 737NGX and 777NGX. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, George

I just got the 737 Performance Referance Handbook for my IPAD. I got it so i can have a better understanding of the performance of the 737 and its now got me thinking about TOPCAT calculations here goes... There is a few things i would like to discuss; VMCG and the little table below plus TOPCAT calculations for Balance field length and unbalanced field length. As you can see with this table below i'm trying to work out my V speeds which i done no problem, but for the V1 (MCG) Check i don't understand that table, its showing double figures like 94 91 etc what does this mean and how can i equate this to my V1 speed? [Don't post images of copyrighted material…
