PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Well its time ti switch my FSX-SE PC over to 64 bit. Am i going to have any problems installing the new PMDG737NGX again. The PC will be like a brand new PC. I just bought the NGX a couple of days ago and installed it on the PC that i want to switch over. I have all the correct documents with my activating key on them. Thanks, Robert McDuff

Hi all After a while, usually on decent, the last two and only flights I have done in this aircraft, the driver crashes, resets then results in fatal error in prepar3d. The T7 and other aircraft work like a dream. Just wondering at this stage weather anyone else has experienced this. My current driver is 347.52 which I have been using since its release with no issues. Thanks in advance

No issues with the aircraft but a bit puzzled why and additional black screen appears when selecting it. Is this normal in P3D? Thanks

I've not long downloaded the PDMG 737NGX that I'm hoping to use on my homebuilt rig, The issue I have is that the speed doesn't seem to want to go above about 190 knots despite the engines showing more or less full power. All the other aircraft work OK. Vertical speed will barely get to 400fpm in flight change mode. Did 't have this problem when I first bought and installed it, so I've probably done something stupid. Add-on's are Rex and Active Sky, but that's about it. The computer is brand new, Windows 8.1, FSX, with SP2 installed and the latest FSUIPC installed. High end Intel CPU and dual graphics cards, with loads of memory, so may just be a configuration…

Hello PMDG & Fellow Simmers, I am an avid user of FSPX, and was wondering if the payload and fuel loader in FSPX had a conflict of any sort with NGX? I I am worried about the unique fuel system PMDG has put in the NGX. Thank you for your time, Eric C.

With SP1d its amazing we can now use WX radar with ASN, thank you ! Is there any guide as to its operation ? I get to see precipitation when in the area, this works fine. Does the Terrain radar feature work ? More specifically I am interested in the differences between MAP ,TFR and GC modes. Also isn't there a OFF, standby, ON mode ? I see only an AUTO Switch which pops in or out.

Can anyone confirm that the inner portion of the winglets is showing the night lighting splash during the daytime when looking back at them from the VC. It doesn't show from outside in spot plane view, but when in the VC they appear to be lit up as they are in darkness. This is with the newest version (build 1.10.6436). It seems to be present on all the winglet models, -700, -800, and -900.

If I select FSX I have a full menu with options (Performance Settings, Aircraft specifc Settings, Livery Manager, Livery Downloader, Version, Documentation and Expansions). If I select FSX SE I have just Expansions Thanks. João Alfredo

Hi all, I unistalled and reinstalled as per instructions the new NGX update but when I fire up fs2crew NGX it tells me I need SP1c installed to operate correctly but when I go to install that service pack I get a warning that my 737NGX is up to date with SP1d but still get the warning, doesn't SP1d include SP1c? what should I do? Anyone having issues with the Virtual Avionics CDU working with the P3D NGX? It works with no issues with the FSX variant, also works with no issues with the P3D T7. However, can't get it to connect. Just wanted to check before firing off a support ticket to Virtual Avionics. Thanks,

Yesterday, after installing my NGx in FSX:SE i've done a flight. When descending, I put the VSD on the ND but noticed a problem, the Vertical Path isn't displayed on it as in the following image. The VERT PATH was fully calculated and the plane descending correctly on the PATH with VNAV. Anyone else have this problem? Regards, Bruno.

Hi there, regarding this fix in sp1d [Main Panel - EFIS Controls] RADIO/BARO behavior on EFIS Control Panel incorrect (mfrantzeskakis) - resolved. I thought it was mentioned that the way to select a new setting was the same as in the 777 (a click and drag system where the further you pull away the faster it increases) I am seeing no change compared to previous versions, is that right?> Alex

Hello i bought the 737 NGX for P3D and when i am flying the Prepar3d stops for about 45 seconds or more and it is getting me crazy please any solution? i have the FSUIPC unregistered but i have the Autosave off! please help!!

Just wondering if others still have this issue, its never been resolved for me.If i select Esc, then End Flight 9 out of 10 times i get a fatal FSX crash when using the NGX 6,7,8, or 9.

I found a previous thread on this subject but the file link has been removed. Does anyone have a .ecs camera set download link for the NGX? I am very interested in one that has World Cameras as wel as all the fun VC and Aircraft angles. on another note, everytime I try to create a world view EZDOK locks up.

Hello, I own NGX for FSX and I'm just wondering whether "save panel state" option was retained in P3D. It's very important feature as I will be saving and reloading flights before T/D to avoid OOM on landing. Best Regards Dmitriy T

Hello! I'm struggling a bit with the 737 NGX for P3D. After a while in flight wierd things starting to happen. I got a RESET MCP ALTITUDE message in fmc, and the execute button lights up but I can't press it. Things in fmc are missing as well and some buttons in captains FMC doesn't work anymore. The autopilot gets messed up also.. The aircraft is flying me off course and I try to use HDG button and set any random HDG but nothing happen. I can't even climb or descent with autopilot, either with VNAV or VS. These things has happen 2 times now, these things was happening when a step climb was involved BTW. I'm running P3D v2.4 and bought the NGX for P3D for a couple …

Hi Guys, Quick Q: with the 777 you can have sound remains on task switch as with p3d so when program loses focus you still have all the sounds etc. The 737 doesn't seem to have this so when the program isn't in focus I only have engine noises etc not cockpit noises? Thanks Jonathon Ryana

Hello PMDG chaps ! Just a quick message to say thank you very much for this superb aircraft and its expansion pack. The offer price and the inclusion of a P-8 Poseidon made it irresistible. I own one of your other aircraft ( the MD-11 for FSX ) so I know it's going to be very interesting and a lot of fun to explore and fly all the variants of the NGX. Down loaded and installed the 737 NGX in to a clean install of P3D 2.5. The aircraft fly's beautifully no OOM issues, with frames rates around the 40fs mark. Even at the gate in Orbx YMML v2 which is normally a frame rate killer I am getting 20 fs. Just one problem, when I click on the hot spot for PDF,MDF, ECU etc all I get is a black screen, no pop up window. Not sure if its a system issue or an compatibility thing. Hello all, I just wanted to get clarification on whether the NGX will eventually receive the same functionality as the 777 in terms of automatic insertion of winds aloft data - I was under the impression that this was going to be implemented with the addition of the weather radar feature for the NGX which came in this latest SP1d update. PS: this is not a criticism in any way, shape or form - just a straight up question.
