PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

what is VAR and why does it only show up better weather when its twisted all the way to the right. its the gain. but it was stormy and raining hard in KPIt today and without var there was very little everything then i turned my gain all the way to the right and got alot better weather coverage on my cdu.

Good evening, I am currently in flight between FOOL and FNLU, it is 1816UTC. My next waypoint is POLAR and it is in 50Nm. On the PROG Page 1, the ETA is 0551Z. The same on the LEGS page RTE DATA. Once the waypoint is overflown the ATA becomes correct. Does anyone else have notice this weird thing ? Is it a known issue ? I have some screenshots but won't be able to post until I land. I am with the B737-800NGX on P3D V2.5. Stephane

In SP1d, using the Continental livery, which has the steam type gauges, when the WX radar is selected on the EFIS panel the Compass rose expands too much and overlays the altimeter, with the leftmost number falling in between the altimeter and the VSI, instead of staying inside the map display is it should.

Tutorial #2 claims on page 117: ...we include a number of saved flights such as before take off,before top of descent etc Access those from FSX Load menu. I assume the mean access the Panel State Load which lists some PMDG-737 Tutorials #2,for instance "before top of descent". When selecting this option I only get the panel state but the aircraft is not flying as I would expect from a saved flight. What is wrong ? Am I looking at the wrong place for those saved flights ? Hi all, I have just upgraded to the SP1D package and I seem to be getting lower FPS than I am used to in my typical areas of interest. Is this expected with SP1D? Im not using ASN therefore no weather radar is active. I realize this is not a scientific report, but I was wondering if this is the norm or if something is happening at my end specifically. Hello dear developers. Very interested in one question. You did such a beautiful plane as 737 NGX. You did not think about the weather radar for 737 like 777? The world would have been very grateful to you. Thank you. Or tell me your thoughts on this subject.

Hi, Just wondered how to properly configure the settings of failures in the NGX. I want failures to happen maybe once in 80 flights or something like that. However I seem to only be able to set it up between 1 failure per each ten hours to 1 failure each hour. Can anyone please confirm if this is correct?

Hello, capitans! I have encountered such a strange issue. After OS clean reinstal i have pressurisation panel looking like this Also, the same font in IRS panel. This happens both in SP1c an SP1d. Tried reinstalling NGX, running setup as admin - the same result. Windows UAC is disabled, sim is installed to non-default folder.

Sorry am I being blind or have the NGX liveries gone - where is the section for 800 WL and 900 in the section for liveries on official site.....?! Manny

Hi all, After updating to SP1D, both engines keep failing for me at approaches. I've done 2 flights and it happened in both. Everything is going on ok, the aircraft is descending downwind the runway, then suddenly both engines stop working, I quickly turn starters to CONT to make them start back up and it works, start APU as well. However after 1 minute or 2 it will be down again and again until it hits the ground. I'm clueless, never seen anything odd like this before, I kept monitoring AP and saw nothing wrong to make the issue occur. Anyone else seeing the same?

Hello all, So I've updated to the SP1D (clean install), and reconfigured all the axises and buttons via FSX and FSUIPC. But, the only thing I couldn't find is the Comm1 Swap option. As I remember, there was an key option in the CDU, but there isn't now. Tried via FSX control (key), tried via FSUIPC costume button key (with NGX SDK)... but nothing. So, please, how can I configure a key command for the Comm1 Swap?

And what I have to do if I have this error ? The activation of the fullfillment is denied by the activation policy because max extra activations exceeded [incident# 0261-8157908]

Is the activation server down or am I just entering the wrong code? When I load the NGX in FSX, I get a request to enter my activation code, after I enter it it tells me I do not have a valid activation code. The code I enter is in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Ive tried it with and without hyphens. Hopefully its some silly error on my part.

i have the pmdg 737. I am starting to get tired of the default livery. If I say install the American livery will that effect my frame rate at all? Thanks guys!

I just update my PMDG 737ngx and i have problems with the Vrinsight MCP combo panel. Now all the number in the MCP displays do not mach with the numbers in cockpit (ALT, HDG, SPD, CRS). If i set my MCP panel to FL200 the virtual cockpit show another number. With the old version of PMDG737, only the ALT display have some problem, but now every display do not mach. The SDK have some problems with the number display in the MCP. Before was ok. Please solve the problem.

I am thinking about buying Active sky next. Can you export the flight plan direct into PMDG 737NGX like you can with simroute? TIA Len Carne

Hi Team, I recorded a take off yesterday from eham now when i try to play it back it works but the panels are dark and the engines are off. I tried selecting the default state als defaultngx but that does not work.. any ideas? Nick Jamont

Hello, this is my first support post regarding the 737NGX since I have had it since Nov of 2013, Thus far, I have had zero issues with the model and no Out Of Memory Errors until after I installed SP1D. I am at a loss as to what is going on but I can say that the issue is occuring at the end of flights between KCLT to KMIA (as well as the same trip back to KCLT) and that there is both an audible and visual warning from windows when the OOM occurs. My KCLT scenery is freeware but my KMIA/Miami area is Miami City 2012 X. Drzewiecki Design. Hi, My old computer died and now I have a new one with windows 8 on it. Pmdg isn't compatible with windows 8 it gets a fatal error or crash to desktop, so what am I supposed to do because it's the only OS you can get a new computer

well i went onto my account could find no trace of an update only what i thought wwas the original download so downloaded it anyway in the notes i saw it mentioned the new version so thought that this must be it , downloaded it fired up the exe told it to repair and very quickly it said that it had done its work. fired up fsx no changes seen , looked in the start menu , no changes, looked in file mangler nothing with new dates , so how do i get SP1D please!!!!

Hello, I noticed the rear-strobe is placed way back on the 737-700(W) after SP1D. Dont know if its where the -800 or -900 is, but figured you would want to take a look. See pic below.
