PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Im sure ive seen users having the Wx radar working in the NGX as does with the 777 & ASN. Im sure I have the latest NGX update for FSX but cant seem to operate the Wx controls on the pedestal ? Do we even have the NGX Wx working yet in FSX ?

I have a question, a newbie question. I'm making a flight and the FMC set the altitude to be at 18500'. I have 18500' dialed into the MCP. I'm flying in the US so the trans. alt. should be 18K right? Well, when I went above 18K I pressed the STD button on the BARO knob and I get 18330' indicated with an STD on the ND, yet the plane won't climb to 18500'. If I press the STD button again I get an indication of 18500' with a 30.09 BARO on the ND. Is this correct? If not then what am I doing wrong? Thanks for helping someone who's still learning.

Hi Got the latest SP 1C but have some troubles with winds and Active sky next! I know this is not a problem with the plane itself but sometimes windchanges gives me hard and aprupt nose pitch up for a second! What i want to say is, i don't have this with the PMDG 777 which smoothed this out via FMC option! Any idea or an option for SP2? Sorry for my english :unsure: Cheers Max

Hello All ! Any of you are using FSUIPC or something else to connect an Arduino board to send outputs (led, annonciators, etc) If yes, there is a tutorial somewhere and/or some codes exemples ? I took a look to the PMDG offset documents from the FSUIPC folders, but no idea who to interface that and Lynk2FS don't seem to support PMDG. Thanks, Ben

Hello all - I have just purchased FSX:SE and noticed that I had to redownload from my order page for my aircraft to work on this, I downloaded and installed but it doesn't seem to be working. Nothing in the cockpit works, no buttoms, no FMS, I also noticed when I use the keyboard shortcut to activate parking brakes the parking brake lever doesn't move but I have the red text saying it is on, I have reinstalled but nothing seems to be working. I have submitted a ticket but hoped I could get some help here. Regards Sam Wilkinson

All, This question has probably been asked a hundred and one times but I shall ask as I can't find the answer anywhere. I have the NGX in P3D and running ASN. How do I operate the weather radar? I select WXR from the EFIS control unit and I also select WXR and AUTO on the weather panel on the centre pedestal but I don't get any scanning of any sort on the ND display. Do I have to drag and drop another file somewhere? I have ASN and AS connect all installed. Regards. Charlie Packman

just wondering if I can offset a waypoint connected to my star? Say for example on my star there is some bad weather and I want to move my waypoint to the left 5 miles and just connect up to the next waypoint no problem. Thanks guys

Hey Guys, Totally new to P3D, which are the crucial sliders and checkboxes, to obtain the bestest and sharpest looking VC in P3D. Unlike my fsx install, the VC only becomes sharp at extreme zoom. I used to set 4096 in the fsx.cfg and voila, that was it. Any help, greatly appreciated. HD 7970 user, by the way. Cheers Ivan

This has recently just started but after i hit TOGA and at THR HOLD or round about 80kts the NGX repositions its thrust to sync with my jetmax TQ 737 levers. As you can see from my demo flight i left my TQ levers at around 40 N1 and once i get THR HOLD in the FMA they retard back to 40 N1 any solutions?

I was planning a flight to KDFW from KJFK, and while I was programming my routes page, a DIRECT (VECTOR) and DIRECT (420) appeared in the middle of the plan, along with a flight discontinuity line. I couldnt delete it, and when I put in the rest of my route, they stayed in the same spot. So two things here, 1. How do I stop it from inserting these again? 2. If it does, how do I delete them. No matter what I do, it just says invalid delete.

I went away from my sim for about 15 mins, and when I came back the plane was in a stall at 15,000 Feet (I left it at FL350, M.79) Has anyone else encountered this? After the dive, I had issues with VNAV, and the autopilot became buggish.

Hi all, I know there are many factors to this but for people with similar addons for FSX and P3D and run them on the same specifications with both PMDG 737 products, how does the PMDG 737 P3D product handle frame rate wise comparable to the FSX Product? thanks!

Hello all I'm trying to step up the realism, to join a virtual airliner soon. I noticed while practicing the tut 2, that it is dais that flaps remain down, till 3000 ft. However, when I look at the charts for EHAM, it is said that NADP2 is being used, meaning reduction is at 800, and the flaps up will be retracted on schedule after that (but I guess not yet fully accel heigh, only flaps up +10). Is there a way to set that in the FMC? Or is that done by hand?. (or use level change?) Vkr Victor

Pretty simple issue. in the cold and dark state, the FMC is stuck powered on and wont turn off. It's not a major immersion breaker, but a little odd since I like starting flights cold and the screen is on and functional but shouldnt be. are there any good ground roll effects in the Avsim libary for the Pmdg 737? Basicly looking to see what kind of different sound I can get during take off and landing. Also first when I back up the orignal sound file is it easy to copy and paste it back in? Just in case I don't care for the ground roll effect. Thanks

I have recently purchased the PMDG 737 NGX FOR P3DV2.5 and would like to say how pleased I am that I did as the aircraft, documentation and tutorials are all superb. The learning curve to fly it properly however is quite steep although I was pleased to find how easy it is to hand fly it, just to get going. I really like the Heads-up display and would like to know how I could operate it via a joystick button. Don't seem to be able to find a keyboard button or combination etc so any help would be appreciated.

I have been flying the new and improved NGX on P3D and love it, I forgot how much I missed it. The issue I have a question about is the NGX seem to disconnect the autopilot by pressing the "Home" button. This is the button right next to the "End" button on the keyboard. I have looked through all of the places where buttons, key presses, and assignments are made including FSUIPC, EZCA, P3D Controls menu, and finally the FMC, Key Board assignments. I find the "Z" button, but not the Home button. I tried this with the House versions for the 736 & 738 and had the same results. I disabled EZCA to be sure it wasn't hiding something but had the same results. FYI th…

Hi guys any way to turn off 737 windows reflection...happens that sometimes those reflections still can be seen even when i am in the external view and i wonder if it has any impact in fps ..also I just dont like the reflections on the left copit window... Hello, just a little question about the display of WXR echoes: On the ND the WXR echoes disappear when the ND mode is set from MAP to APP via the EFIS control panel. I think there should be echoes in APP ARC mode, not in CTR mode though. (In the T7 there are WXR echoes in APP ARC.) Is there a reason for this? Greetings, Claus
