PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

A problem I've never seen until I updated my 800/900 and 600/700. Full left-wing down aileron trim, yesterday on take-off, today, after being in trim all flight, on landing when I disconnected the A/P at 100 ft. Is this something I am doing? This never was an issue until I updated with the new installer. I did uninstall everything before running the installer as an administrator. Wouldn't be a problem, save for the fact that in order to get to the trim switches, you have to basically stop flying the airplane and significantly change views. Thoughts?

Hi, Since installing the latest update I can't seem to get rid of the fuel warning light. I have tried three flights now, all with the same result. I am following the exact same procedure I have for hundreds of previous flights and this never used to occurr. I am wondering if there is something changed in the SP1d update that may be causing this? I also had to reinstall my livery which comes with its unique aircraft specifications so maybe this didn't install incorrectly? There are no other warning lights besides this one. Hi all, I'm looking at buying PFPX to help me plan my flights and fuel usage. I've seen a few PFPX tutorials where they talk about entering all the data (weights, instruments etc) of the plane to get it working correctly. I can't seem to find this information and before I go spending $80 on the program I'd like to have the info on hand. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome!. I Have a problem, when I load the pmdg 737 800 winglets, p3d loads in a small rectangular window in the left corner of the monitor it happens only with 800 and 900 not with 700 or 600, the problem is that when I try to load a saved flight this small windows remains as is and p3d crashes with a windows.dll error, so is impossible to reload a saved flight with the 737 800 or 900, this problem doesn't exists with other addons like 777 or dash 8, I have installed the last version of 737 in windows 7 64bit and p3d 2.5 , I have 2 monitors and a gtx780 and an i7 cpu . P3d works perfect with all the others addons Thanks

Hi, I am trying to practice engine failure procedures in VC. When right clicking the throttle of engine no. 1 lets say, it will slowly retard to it's stop then shoot back to the full thrust position. What is the correct way to manipulate a single throttle quadrant either in VC or via the keyboard? Cheers

Hello I use the NGX on steam edition and I've been having some problems with the tiller. When I am trying to taxi and let go of my joystick, it starts turning to the left and to get it to taxi straight, i have to hold my joystick slightly to the right. Hello all. Getting back in to FSX now that the steam edition was out and decided to pop for an add on craft and chose the 737 ngx. Its quite nicely detailed from every aspect and have enjoyed flying it. Im still in the learning curve with the FMC however and having a bit of an issue. Typically I kept my flights to just heading navigation and following the stock FSX ATC. I decided to purchase Pro ATC -X and try my had at the added functionality. I had an issue on a test flight flying KJFK to KBOS. I created the plan KJFK DCT MERIT DCT PACER DCT ORW KBOS. I chose the MERIT3 SID and then I received the discontinuity message in the FMC. Dear Captain, I downloaded from PMDG web site and installed "PMDG 737 8900 NGX Base Package FSX.exe". Installation is completed normally. However my PMDG737NGX is still sp1c..... Do I have to uninstall PMDG and reinstall PMDG again?? or Do you know how to solve this problem? thanks,

Hi, I recently purchased both fsx se and pmdg 737 ngx and have a rather annoying problem. When ending a flight it sometimes crashes to desktop, if i leave the fsx menu open with the pmdg aircraft and come back later to click fly now, it will CTD. If I intentionally crash pmdg aircraft it will CTD (This does not happen with a normal plane from fsx se, it will restart the flight). I noticed flying with the PMDG 737 in cockpit frame rates are pretty sub par. Roughly 10-15 on the ground and 20-30 in the air. If I go external view Im 20-40 on the ground and 25-60 in the air depending where I am. The outside of this aircraft seems so detailed I would think I'd have worse FPS there than in the cockpit with just the instruments. Is this just the norm or am I doing something wrong? I certainly dont want to lose any quality on the VC as its where I spend most of the time.

Hi Guys, I've just installed the latest download files for the 800/900 base, and the 600/700 add on for FSX SE, and after installing the 600/700 package, it's showing in my con.fig manager, and in my list of programs for un-installing, but there are no files for the 600/700 package, appearing in the sim/objects folder, under airplanes, and the aircraft are missing in the aircraft section, after loading up FSX SE! Any ideas, the previous ver's worked fine, this has only happened after installing the latest drivers? Thanks for advice.. Mal Walsh...

Hi, i recently found the new service package for the PMDG 737-8900 NGX (Service pack 1-D). But when I log into my account, it says, "You have no previous orders in this store." then I realized that my account wasn't active during the purchase. No big deal, the directions said i can do it from my original purchase email. What is the 737 installer. I cant find it and when i click the link it sent me to re download the aircraft it says, "Error. Your ID request is incorrect. Please contact store admin for info." I really want this service update! can anyone help me anyway possible. Please please please!!

I'm having an issue where the NGX has terrible performance both on the ground and in the air. I have many hundreds of hours in the NGX under FSX so I don't think I am doing anything wrong. In a nutshell it takes 65% N1 just to taxi at 10-15 kts At TO thrust it took me the entire length of a runway (10,000 feet) to get airborne and even then it took another few thousand feet or so to get out of ground effect. it take substantial back pressure on the stick to stay level at the trim calculated by the FMC. To try and climb it's full back pressure plus additional up trip to get a reasonable climb rate. Weights are all under MTOW. I tried payware and default airports. (KDEN…

I read that when taking off, press the TOGA switch after N1 is about 40 %.However I ignore pressing the TOGA and just advance the throttle fully and take off begins without problems. What would happen in the real world if the TOGA button is not pressed and the throttle advanced to full ? Same as above ? HubertWerni

Hi everyone, I just read on PMDG's facebook that a new version of the 737 NGX has been released and it featured "optimization" which my PC could really benefit from (low fps). However, I went to this link ( http://support.aerosoft.com/index.php?action=show&products=630 ) and I was asked to enter the serial key in order to download the .zip file containing the new update. I looked in my emails for ages looking for it and found nothing, the registration key in the box doesn't work with or without the "-" signs. A weird thing happens whenever I fly the NGX lately, my FPS is hanging around 13-16 and it usually is around 24+. My GPU usage as shown in my msi afterburner is 0. Sometimes, after a lot of alt tabing, hitting escape, opening some other stuff in background something goes wright, GPU usage goes back to 60ish and performance goes up to normal where it remains for the rest of the flight. It happens in some other planes (for example a2a b-17), but it never happens in their 180 for example. I am at my whits end, I have googled everywhere, and tried pretty much everything. As the community of experts have a few words of wisdom I will Like too ask a question . Understanding THAT FSX is Built Into 32Bit OS which limits it to only Using 4gb Of Ram .. Seeing That the Strong advise is to Install FSX into into its own place On the C drive . What happens if you installed the program and the disk defaulted to the origin were the authors had decided to have it placed C:/ Microsoft games/Flight simulator/Fsx? Under FSX I could program all necessary switches with FSUIPC via mouse macros. Under P3D 2.5 many of those switches are no longer pdogrammable via mouse macros. I have installed the most recent FSUIPC version. These switches are: Engine Fire Panel, Fuel Cutoff/Idle, Nose Wheel Steering Norm Alt etc... Are these no longer programmable via mouse macros or do I have a major fault in my approach? Other Buttons / Switches are still programmable: DUs Selection, A/T A/P FMC P/RST... Also the offsets for the FSX NGX do not work with FSUIPC. Any ideas/ suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hello, After installing the latest version of PMDG 737NGX into my steam folder (Now have a side-by-side install) I'm unable to get FS2Crew working on the steam side. It seems to work fine on the original, and parallel, install "Program files(x86)/FSX" even though I'm getting an error stating that FS2Crew will only install on existing versons of SP1C or higher. Now that PMDG is using version numbers, instead of SP1, SP1C etc, how can I install FS2 Crew and by-pass this issue? For the record, I completely uninstalled the 737NGX from both installs, as suggested by PMDG, and reinstalled in both versions of FSX. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. T…

Installed new motherboard. This made all PMDG aircraft invalid. Reinstalled PMDG 737-800/900 NGX. It works, but all liveries are gone. Directed to Operations Center for reinstall of liveries. Using OC, please select a product, I select PMDG 737NGX-FSX. That works. But under Menu (my aircraft) I get only Expansions. Nothing else. Something is wrong. Impossible to use Livery Manager, etc. because it is not there! What do I do?
