PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, So it recently started to happen; the PMDG operation center doesn't recognize my pmdg 737-800 for SE anymore. I cannot download any livery as it tells me to purchase it... Yes, I have the legal version of it. Also, I tried reinstalling and it's now not even recognizing the FSX normal edition. Any suggestions?

Anyone here been practicing Windshear Escape (QRH MAN 1.11) in the NGX using ASN? How well did it go? Any tips? How do you set ASN or P3D to give Windshear on approach? Advice is sought, and would be great fully received. Brian Nellis

Hi Everyone: Before I install the latest update of the NGX for FSX, I was wondering 3 things: 1) When I run the installer, it says I have an option to either remove the NGX or repair it - which option am I supposed to choose? (The current version I have works perfectly now, so I hope I don't have to remove it, yet it doesn't really need repairing as it already works perfectly) 2) How does the weather radar work with ASN (I have that)? Where does the weather radar screen actually appear on the NGX? (I mean I already use ASN, and it appears as a separate gauge). How will the upgrade effect this? 3) Will I have to re-install all my add-on liveries all …

Okay, so I have been trying to do a flight and I planned with PFPX and then I was ready, then I went into the pmdg 737 and did everything then I went to my depature side, and PFPX and PMDG 737 do not have the same SIDS.

for years I have been using widescreen=false with the Pmdg and ezdok. So finally I switched to widescreen=true and with ezdok it was just too zoomed out. My zoom level is .47 So when I edit the ezdok camera and zoom to like .7 or 1.0 and save the ezdok camera next time I switch to that camera the fsx zoom level is back at .47?? I can always just move my seat up but then I am way to close to the windscreen. So Basicly at .47 the widescreen=true is just too stretched and hard on the eyes. Is there any way to go into the config files and set a zoom level? Thanks

I dont use EZDOC or Trackir so I am to close to the window and I don't see any of my instrument.I have one button dedicated to zoom level and this is when I am zoomed all out.I always sit in the VC and I belive I can adjust this in the camera wiev.When I am zoomed all out this is 0.30 but want to zomm out to maybe 50-60. Anybody that could advise me what to change ?

For ETOPS planning i want to enter div point. When i try enter N3150.4W04845.3 have message 'invalid format' Same way of entering for 777 is ok. What i do wrong ?

Hello fellow PMDG pilots etc. I have recently installed P3D and flying the PMDG 737NGX and T7. With the 737 however I am experiencing an weird thing. After a certain amount of time (various) after T/O I get this honking horn sound. Although I find no irregularities in the FMC and/or overhead panel etc. I cannot get rid of it and will remain until the final approach. I have tried reinstalling the package but with no positive results. Funny thing however is that I DO NOT experience this or any other such problem with the PMDG T7. Hope someone out there will have a solution for me and for which I thank you in advance. Regards Dirk

Can anyone recall the date that PMDG released the 1d service pack release for the 737NGX products? Can someone confirm my understanding that service pack 1d equates to version 1.10.6461? Yes it is.

Hi, This isn't any sort of major operating issue, but just something I discovered... The "Star Alliance" logo on the United Airlines (Merger) Winglets FSX PMDG 737-700NGX WL is reversed or a mirror image of itself--at least the letters below the logo on the right side are that way. I'm uncertain where and to whom to report this, but if someone can forward this on to the proper folks or point me in the right direction, I'll follow through. Thanks.

Folks, I've spent nearly all day trying to figure this out and I can't! Please someone help! I'm running fsx (with sp1 and 2) on windows 7 with a GeForce GTX 970 card. My main monitor (set as primary) is plugged in via a DVI port. The 2 other monitors are plugged into the same card, via 2 display port plugs and everything was working fine. The 2 monitors used for pfd/nd and eicas for my home cockpit. I've just upgraded the home cockpit, plugged everything back in but now the 2 "spare" screens won't work in fsx. Instead of going black and being able to drag the desired screens onto them, they stay in "windows" mode. Everything is set up, in windowed mode, …

I'm not a pilot but maybe some of the pilots here can give me there experience on manual braking! I'm not sure if its just the sim or my saitek rudder toe brakes but when i use manual braking after landing its hard to keep the acft straight without it going off in a direction when using my rudder toe brakes! Its possible if i lightly press both pedals at the same time. So is it like this in RW? Surely not lol

Every wondered why the difference in the calculated fuel quantity with the gauges and FMS? Well read below.... "Regarding the FMS quantity, the anomaly you described can be explained by the fact that the fuel upstream of the fuel pumps, downstream of the spar valve is taken into account when calculating the remaining fuel on board, hence always reading a slightly higher value. This is substantiated by closely observing the fuel gauges after the engines have been shut down and the fuel in the lines returns to the tanks, which is seen by a slow increase in fuel tank quantity in the approximately 1 minute after shutdown. I have searched the FCOM, FCTM and this forum but, unless I overlooked something, did not find an answer to the following : The landing field elevation on the pressurisation panel is set in 50ft increments. What do I set it to for "in-between" values ? For example, the elevation of my hometown airport NZAA is 23 ft. Would I set the field elevation to 0 ft or to 50 ft on inbound flights ? Thanks for any info.

I have configured my NGX to match PFPX weights with this pinned guide on how to set the weights. But i'm still finding my weights to be out by 100kg My ZFW with PFPX was 55.3t 737 800W was 55.2t So i'm not sure what else i need to set? Or is this final and closest i'll get to matching?

Still a question: Why do we have to delete "all" keys and joystick assignments? Is uncheck the "Enable Controller(s) box in Settings - Controls in FSX not easier if you do all assignments through FSUIPC? Just wonder. Frans

I am currently reinstalling FSX and my library of aircraft. I am able to install PMDG 737NGX base and activate it with no problems. However when I try to install any of the patches I get the dreaded 'activation error' that a small number of users sometimes get. From reading through some of the past posts on this issue I don't see where it was fixed. I even installed up through update SP1c with no luck. I had no issues like this when I installed in my previous system. What do I need to do to get 737NGX activated properly and up and running? Thanks, John A. Mason GA

Since I made the update in FSX with 737NGX 1D, I've notice that no matter what, my brake temp allways remain at 0. i've try to use the brakes intense on taxi or landing, but no rise temp. no matter what. It's not big deal, but just curious if someone else notice this. And yes, I have selected under option "brake temp on".

Page 58 appears to be wrong, and the picture shows all lights as extinguished when claiming they should be illuminated. Shouldn't tutorial pictures match the current A/C state to avoid confusion? I'm following Tutorial #2 to the letter, including the use of Grd Pwr. Loaded the saved flight to start in the correct panel state. Anyway, page 58 states the following: TBO and SO are extinguished and only GOB is illuminated. In FCOM v1, Page 88 ^ That one is correct. I tried the iFly 737 before the PMDG was ported to Steam Edition and their manual has the exact same mistake, in fact a lot of their manual looks awfully similar... My PDF is dated …

i go into my fmc and select which doors to open and close and I have no air stairs option? Sp1d is installed.

hi, since I intalled FS2Crew in my 737 pmdg there is no more wxr working button. SP1C is present but the airplane looks like before first the update.
