PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I'm running into a small issue with my NGX and my VA's ACARS software. At random points in the flight (I usually notice it around TOD) my ACARS will pause my flight. Not pause the actual sim, just pause recording the flight. This has happened with two separate ACARS, one being VAFS and the other being the ACARS that deltava.org uses (not sure if it has a name). If I close the ACARS software the next time I start it will ask me if I want to restart from the last point it saved in my previous flight, even if I had completed it. Hi I had to to reinstall PMDG737ngxas I was having a problem with it locking up, every thing seems to be ok on except on my oil gauges,does not show the numbers on it,I was trying to find something someone had sent that when you uninstall and reinstall,yor have to make sure everything was uninstalled on this plane could anyone tell me what folders I have to check to make sure everything has been taking out. would it hurt if I just installed PMDG737ngx without taking out all files. I have windows8 64bit in fsx.anyone else flying this plane with windows8, without any problems,PMDG does not have support for windows8. thanks Vergil Marquardt

Hi, There are some errors in 737NGX_debug_log.txt file: There are no such WAV files in [FSX]/SOUND/PMDG/737NGX/Various folder. Fresh FSX and NGX v1.10.6461 installed. Maybe these errors do nothing, but this info may be useful for PMDG team. Kind regards,

All, I've finally broke down and moved from FSX to P3D. That wouldn't have happened without the release of the appropriate PMDG products. Moving along nicely now but have a wrinkle. I have a nice offering of PTP files but haven't figured out how to get those into the P3D PMDG 737 livery system. I figure there is a directory somewhere to do that but haven't found it yet. Hello, When ever I use the autobrake on landing, I found that autobrake 1, 2, 3, and MAX all use max braking. How can I fix this? Thank You. Sam

Over the past six month I have incurred many faults with my computer. Installing and re-installing windows/FSX etc, I believe all the problems have now been sorted out. However, installing NGX 737 has been denied with the following "The activation of the fulfilment is denied by the policy because max extra activations exceeded". The purchase was disc not download. What is required to activate my installation ??

Holding next to the runway, I can set my FD to master and Co pilot FD on, I then arm auto throttle... Then I arm lnav and vnav... But when I press the n1 toga press spot, both FDs turn master and lnav and vnav go off. Then during take off roll I have to turn off both FDs, turn them both back in, followed by lnav and vnav.

Hi everyone, Today I bought the Thrustmaster Warthog and so far I'm really loving it! The only thing that's bothering me is that the throttles in the NGX are very jittery when I bring the throttle very close to the idle position (I'm not using the cut-off detent). I added a dead zone at the idle point through the TARGET software but this doesn't help. I disabled the left throttle entirely and kept both throttles locked together and the problem still persists. Even at higher thrust settings this problem can occur. I've noticed that the throttle has a small amount of "give" in either direction before it starts to slide properly, so I'm wondering if this could be the cau…

Hi, today I tried to rush to get ATC coverage on VATSIM. I forgot that I reinstalled PMDG due to a VC issue 2 days ago so I tried to redownload all my liveries. When I went to the addon liveries section, the FSX 737-800/900 section was missing! And it asked to download through the operations manager which I tried searching for to no avail. I googled it but it said that it was only available for the 777. After all that the ATC had logged offline :( Can someone please help? Or have I forgotten something??? Thanks, Aaron. Hello All, Yesterday I started FSX:SE and selected my 737-700 winglets model. When it loaded, a screen popped up and said that I didn't activate my PMDG yet. I did not torrent this, I clearly bought it but It's saying that I have to "activate" it. Thanks for your help --KH Here is what the image said: " Your PMDG 737NGX Base Package is not activated yet. Please select and activate a PMDG 737-800NGX or 737-900NGX variant first. Note that there are separate product keys for the 800/900 Base Package and the 600/700 extenstion package. Needing some help. I'm trying to work my way through the 737ngx tutorial. Running FSX and FSUIPC. I think I have everything up and running correctly, though being new to all this, maybe not. Anyway while heading down the runway almost at rotation speed, suddenly the speed brake kicks in and everything starts to slow down quickly. Don't understand why this is occurring. Hello fellow simmers, I have the Box version of PMDG 737 800/900, with the old version installed (SP1c), and downloaded the update from the Aerosoft's support page. I followed the instructions step by step, uninstall 800/900 from Control Panel / Programs and Features, and run the update installer. After when everything is completed, I open the PMDG Operations Center, just to check if the latest version is actualy installed, and I got the followed message: The product is currently up to date 1.10.6461. So far so good. But! When opening FSX and loading the 737 I check the version via FMC and there it says Version 1.1 instead of SP1d. I'm a bit confused whether is insta…

Can anyone help me I have been at this for several days I am exhausted before I had been receiving a crash with the error saying PMDG 737 DLL error after hours work and uninstalling and re-installing the error went away but know the gauges don't even load as if the airplane was never activated and the aircraft does not initialize can anyone please help me I am desperate at this point. Are there going to be more repaints for this aircraft? There's only three registration numbers out there on AVSIM, and I'm flying the same registration numbers over and over again.

I recently just purchased pretty much all the PMDG planes and I had no problems installing the 747-400 and 8i extension as well as the MD-11 and they work flawlessly but when I attempted to install the 777 and 737 I get the cannot find fsx.exe error. I tried the fs registry repair tool and a fresh install of FSX no luck. I am running FSXSE on Windows 8.1 64bit. Please Help many thanks in advance Trevor

It's quite frustrating that after hours of flight and then an FSX crash I loaded my FSUIPC autosave flight in the NGX only for it to load spinning out of control towards the ground with no way to recover. Then when the initialization portion ends it still is and there's no saving it. Tried loading it at different auto-save point and got the same thing. Tried switching to non NGX aircraft right when it loads and it is fine, that is until i switch back to the NGX and the sim crashes. I have tried it about 8 times now and I can't get it to load normal to continue my flight. Anyone seen this issue before? ASN is not open during each time either.

Did PMDG has in future program to release a free application wich record flight parameters like Aerosoft did with AirbusX? Just wondering, not a request.

I have read in my FCOM that on a VNAV app set the MAA when at least 300 feet below the MAA. Then i read for a V/S approach you set the MAA approximately 300 feet above the MDA(H) Why is this ? Regards.

Hello, First of all, I apologise in advance if this sort of thing is not allowed here. I finished uploading a video last night where I go through my own personal procedure of conducting a flight in the NGX. I try to keep the flight short and basic (and only really scratch the surface of what the NGX can do!) Hopefully it'll help out the new pilots (and maybe even provide a couple of tips for the experts)

I'm having a control issue when using the 737NGX, along with the Opencockpits MCP, OCP4NGX and the Saitek Pro USB Joystick. I use the FPUIPC along with tthe Saitek Pro Joystick for the main controls , FS is disabled, and the OCP4NGX program to handle the interface between the Opencockpits P&P modules I have installed, i.e. EFIS< FMC and MCP, along with the MIP Expansion cards. Everything work fine, loads OK, right up until I press the C/O button on the MCP, which you are asked to do to get everything lined up. Hi, I have been searching a bit about the normal procedure regarding daily operation of the ATC module . FS2Crew does include this but there is a function regarding "altitude reporting" on the ATC modul. In which situation would that function be used and maybe why a special function for it ? Hi, I have had the pmdg 737ngx for a couple of months now. It mostly works without a problem.. however I'm having trouble with the ILS: I tune the ILS frequency on the nav1 radio (the dial right under the dial used to tune in frequencies for communicating with ATC). I almost always get the localizer, but the glideslope tends to either not show up at all; or show up and then dissapear. It has worked sometimes, but most of the time this happens to me. It feels very much like a bug, but Im wondering if there is anything I might be doing wrong? I also usually set the approach on the FMC, but this happens to me regardless of whether I have done this or not. Thanks!!

I received an error when I tries to install which I thought was PMDG 737ngx service pack 1d in which I downloaded the Full install from the site. The message reads..... "The setup has detected that version 1.10.6436 of PMDG 737 8900 NGX is already installed. This setup installs and earlier version of PMDG 737 8900 NGX (1.00.3219). You will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version." Please let me know if there is a Service pack 1d for the NGX and how can I acquire it. Hi all, I have an issue with the NGX that the FMC/CDU times do not match the zulu time showing on the clock. The clock Zulu time is displaying 00:40 but the time on the PROG page is showing 0559.1z for the next waypoint, which is just 110nM away. When I cross a waypoint the time of this last waypoint changes to the correct Z time on the PROG page. Is there a way to sync the CDU clock? What can cause this behavior? Thanks

Since installing version 1.10.6461 8900NGX for P3D I have a problem with autolands. When I set my throttles to idle at 50ft AGL the engines won't go into an idle state. Only at 10ft AGL the engines run idle. Even when I set my throttles to idle at 100fr or higher AGL the engines won't go into idle state before 10ft AGL. This results in overshooting the runway's touchdown zone and while in this flaring I have to push the nose down myself to land the aircraft. In the P3D RTM version of the 8900NGX autolands worked perfectly. Is this phenomenon of engines not idling before 10ft AGL by design or did something during installation go wrong? If the latter, what could this have …
