PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I tried flying from Fairbanks to Anchorage yesterday and an issue came up that I'm not sure is a PMDG issue or a nav database issue. I was attempting to use the GALENA FOUR SID out of Fairbanks and the KROTO1 STAR into Anchorage. When I programmed them into the FMC it gave me the correct distance between GALENA FOUR and the waypoint prior to the SID. The problem is the display was showing 297 NM between that waypoint and the beginning of the KROTO1 STAR. Now I know it's only 200 NM to Anchorage from Fairbanks and I don't understand where the 297 is coming from. I tried two other STARS and came up with similar results. Thoughts?

Hello, i'm wondering why during a approache the Glideslope and APP never works, the 777-200 always does... Short flight EHBK03-EDDL05R Making route in PFPX, no disco's in legs, AIRAC 1505, in FMC ARR clicket on ILS05R and star LMA9X. In the PMDG 737 menu, nearly EDDL i'cant see somewhere if ILS 111.50 is founded by FMC, there is no NAV/RAD button. The 737 is still landed nearly the centerline, via LNAV The APP light will not switch on, (only on the ground) and the Glideslope indicator is also not visible? I'm sure it's stupid, but i like to know why?

Why is it when I try to install the 900 livery I get a pop up saying unknown variant? I am doing it the same way as the 800 series and had no problems.I am using the 900 livery from the list

Hi folks I hope this isn't a stupid question BUT.... I have the PMDG 737, PFPX and TOPCAT. I have watched many videos about flight planning with these 3 addons but haven't found any tutorials about weight and balance i.e if you have passengers, baggage and cargo how do you load up the plane (cargo holds) so that you know you are within the C of G? In TOPCAT there is a Weight and Balance calculator but I cannot see how the weight limits are set for the fore and aft cargo holds. Any guidance would be appreciated. Regards Colin

Well all my previous issues have been resolved, but now I have a new demon with this aircraft. I have read time and again the advice on how to land the NGX, which is a slippery plane indeed. However, I follow all the advice given (gently raise the nose, no sudden flare, cut the thrust at about 50'' depending on conditions etc.) Yet today at Inverness airport she WOULD NOT LAND. Only after floating about 100/150 feet did she touch down gently, which by then was almost too late to stop effectively. Due to the fact that I bought the T7 I decided to upgrade my AS2012 to Active Sky NEXT in order to enjoy the weather radar function. However, since I'm using ASN I'm experiencing quite often landing situations with my PMDG 737NGX, neither me nor the autopilot are able to cope with. Hi, Is it possible to get the Engine Start Lever information (IDLE / Cutoff) through the SDK or FSUIPC offset? I cannot find it in the header file and the "traditional" FSUIPC offset 0x3590 Fuel Valve does not seem to work for the 737NGX. Hi. I've the boxed version of the 737NGX, and want to install the Service Pack 1d. Allthough I am loged in to my account at the PDMG-Homepage, I can't get to the download....every time I click on "Click here to log in ", I land on the account page, can view my account info (i.o.w.: I AM loged in...) but can't get to the download. All tips how to solve this are welcome :-) Thanks a lot in advance. John

One thing I've noticed now with the NGX in P3D and I'm not sure if it's P3D doing something or if it's part of the new NGX model for P3D, when taxiing there is a slight bouncing movement up and down. It's not much at all but enough that you should pay attention to it. In a way I guess it's more realistic that the aircraft will move a bit up and down depending on what the taxiway looks like so I don't see it as a problem really, just a bit curious if it's supposed to be like this and if anyone else noticed it?

(First i tried to find a right topic about it) While I was busy this afternoon with the installation of a PMDG flight, had suddenly shut down, and have searched in PMDG where I could save, then I "FSUIPC Options and Settings" found. But I see no storage options, there may be something possible? :blush: All the ADMIN rights are given in FSX Add to FSX-SE is only for the aircraft itself. Hello fellow PMDG riders! I tried to do my 1st repaint of the PMDG 737-800NGX (non winglet version). I managed to get the livery on the aircraft but I still struggle with the night lighting. I searched about 40 pages of topics in the forum but couldn't find a thread with this issue. The original PMDG (re)paint that comes with the 737NGX when bought contains a file called "pmdg_737NGX_tailnight". The repaint kit does not include a file with this name. After searching the internet I found some guys who created their own night lighting file for the tail. Fellow pilots, I'm trying to set up key commands to set flaps to a specific setting. I think I've worked out what should work, but it isn't working. I want to press "Ctrl-A" to set flaps to 5. Looking in the SDK, that should be event 76776. I've tried parameter values 0, 1, -1, and the number associated with a mouse left-click from the SDK. But when I press Ctrl-A (I've also tried other key combos and assigning to a joystick button), I only hear a small "click" in the sim and nothing else seems to happen. I was on my way yesterday from LOWI to EGGD and I made my worst landing ever and for the stupidest possible reason. It was so bad that I decided to make a comic about it: Das me in the NGX on final like a boss radio altimeter reads 40 when sudenly, a wild sneeze appears In the mean time, the plane slams to the ground nose wheel first at probably -1000 fpm I ended up busting my nose wheel, not to mention my nerves. Hi, So i installed the latest SP for the NGX and since then i have no FMS information on the iPad anymore. I can still connect to the NGX and use the keys on the iPad to remote control the CDU on my computerscreen but i used to have the info displayed on the iPad as well. Anyone knows more about this ?

Hello. Whenever I use the NGX, after about 1000ft I get this alarm, as seen in the video (www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wflkesMeM4). It starts about a minute after take-off and doesn't stop until I end the flight. It would be of great help if you could tell me why or help me troubleshoot. Thanks, Tom Page

QUESTION 1 anyone with these hardware read below Ok i'm soon to get the overhead panel, aft overhead panel and the pedestal from flightdeck solutions but my question is - if i switch the guard open ie the batt guard on the FDS panel or any over panel with a guard switch will this then still operate the switch on the NGX ? QUESTION 2 I'm also going to get the 737 steering tiller does it work well with the NGX ? And has anyone modified the turn radius of the 737 i heard the value isn't actually set right in the aircraft.cfg ?

i want to install the ngx on fsx se however as i have both fsx and the SE edition on the same hard drive all my current installer wants to do is either remove or repair the fsx version. how do i get it to ignore the fsx entry?

I am experiencing 2 annoying bugs (?) with 737NGX and IvAp. One of them also happens with 777X. I use FSX:SE and before posting I updated both FSX:SE and 737NGX and 777X through a clean installation. Problems remain. 1) ON 737NGX AND 777X, when I connect to IvAp, I can NEVER get the IvAp METAR QNH to match the aircrafts when I am on the ground. I just got my self P3D after a new install of Win 7 to try it out if P3D is more stable than FSX. I currently own all 737's and 777's for FSX but not for P3D. Do I have to buy 737's again just for P3D or what shall I do? Im not able to run the 737 base installer when I dont have FSX installed. Kind Regards Henrik Abrahamsson

Hello folks, I had to reinstall Windons 7 - Ultimate - and Flight Simulator X - sp2. I reinstalled the default PMDG NG-800 and 700, using the files and act Keys I had kept from former installation. To download other liveries I must have the Operations Center software. But I can`t find this Op.Center in my Computer. So, I would appreciate your help in order to know where I can get this Op. Hello all The title is quite self explaining. All my burton configurations (which are a lot) stopped working after I set the AP disc button via the FMC. Did anyone else find a conflict there? Or am I the only one? Fscuip does recognise the button being presses, bur doesn't want to continue sending it. This also counts for the throttle from saiteck. But the button maped on the yoke to the ptt vpilot action, works perfectly.. Vkr Victor

I have the DVD version of the PMDG 737 NGX and I just installed it the other day. I went to find the Op Center and I can't find it. This is a fresh install as I uninstalled a while back. Where can I get it?

Hey Folks: I am having an issue with the trim wheel in the 737 NGX. When I add any kind of power to the aircraft, be it ground power or engines running, I know that the trim wheel needs it to work correctly. However, when I turn the power on, the trim wheel resets itself to 14.50. If I try and move it back up into the correct take off setting in the green and as instructed by the FMC, it just moves itself back down to 14.50. Any ideas what is going on with this.
