PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I was enroute to my airport and all of sudden I get a VNAV Disconnected shows up in my FMC. I still had almost 200 miles to go and it said end of route, even though I wasn't and it was set in the FMC. Why would it just erase the rest of my flight plan?

Hi all. Ive searched the forums but found nothing regarding the SUPP NAV DATA and storing created waypoints. I know the FCOM is a Boeing doc however has this feature been activated in the P3D version of the NGX? Regards Rob

Lately, I have been flying from the right seat which for me inevitably means a landing that would attract criticism of the bad kind. So I decided to practice by doing Touch and Go's from the right seat for an hour. Since I suck at Flap 40 landings, I thought I'd practice that too. Raw data flying in VMC in a 1500 feet AGL Right Circuit. hey everyone, I know this has been discussed many times before here, but i'm setting up a flight simulator and i'm still facing this problem. Whenever i enter the activation key, i get the message "error, can't connect to activation server. Please make sure you have an internet connection.". i do have internet, and i have tried everything from reinstalling as admin, running as admin, installing the simconnect.msi from the p3d folder. I've browsed through the forums trying many solutions, such as allowing port 8888, entering the activation codes in different formats, reinstalled everything including p3d and no luck. I clicked on the wrong button while trying to set up the 737-700 for a flight. I was now seeing that if I wanted to unregister the addon - I thought I hit cancel but the software informed me that the 737-700 was now unregistered. What to do now? Franklin Duncan

I m very angry and disappointed about my last purchase of 737 pmdg for p3d. this is the second one I bouth, the first for FSX and it was perfect, now the one for P3D cost 25 euro more (80 euro) and the graphics of the PFD and navigation display, is veri bad. the terrain shown in navigation display is almost imperceptible. I already set it, but I want to know if somebody has my sensation. bye :angry:

Hi guys, A bit of a problem trying to install liveries onto my FSX Steam version of the PMDG 737 NGX. When I first installed the NGX about two weeks ago, it was great. The livery installer in the Operations Center worked no problem! But since moving FSX and all its add ons onto another SSD drive, the link to install liveries has disappeared. EVERYTHING else works fine. My FSX steam set up works perfectly except for the disappearing of the livery installer when you fire up the Operations Center. Any ideas? I've been in touch with the great guys at PMDG but I can't seem to fix this issue. I've even uninstalled and re-installed the NGX but nothing seems to work. …

All Can I please clarify, is the PMDG GPWS auto callout for 1000 feet is based on the radio altimeter or the barometric altitude? My company's FCOM states "Note: Callouts at 1000 feet and 500 feet are barometric based, and are triggered by the difference between barometric altitude and the landing field elevation. All other callouts in this list are based on radio altitude." I'm away from home so don't have access to the PMDG FCOM. Just wanting to answer a question for a colleague. Thank you in advance.

On KIAD-KTPA flight climbing thru 17000 feet the Master Caution lights up. I go to overhead panel and both OVERHEAT and LOW PRESSURE are amber/orange above SYSTEM A ELEC 2 and SYSTEM B ELEC 1. I checked the HYD P and HYD Q on side by side engine display. They all looked within the correct parameters. Q is 75% on SYSTEM A. but I believe it is SYSTEM B that requires the Q to be above 76%. I searched the QRF pdf (which was anything but quick – maybe a manual would quicker) about what steps to take. This whole sequence of events took maybe 3-4 minutes. Nothing bad had happen in four minutes, so I figured a light bulb was probably acting up. I decided to continue the flight. …

Hi, I have a problem using the HGS on approach. Eventhough I am in the outer circle with the smaller cirlce it often turns out I have lost the VOR LOC and GS positions and that I am drifting out of the center and out of glide path. Of course ILS frq is set on NAV1. CRS on the actual degrees and I enter the rwy specifics on the HGS gauge on the piedestal. Normally I prefer PRI for landings. Is there anybody else who've experienced this? Regards Matts

Has anyone of you encountered the loss of the virtual cockpit? I just loaded the pmdg 737 ngx and I didn't get the virtual cockpit view, but only a 2D-panel view. I've tried reinstalling the 737, but no luck. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

For those who used Navigraph charts you will know they came with a EOSID. But with the new LIDO charts this is non existant now! So what do you guys now do for an engine failure procedure? Climb straight ahead to MSA, Retract at 1000 AGL? I'm curious in what other NGX pilots are now doing?

During the secure procedure i've seen a few pilots on videos and even pictures switching off the trim air switch and turning it on during the electrical power up procedure. So does this switch get turned off during the secure procedure? Also why is this limitation observed - Turn off wing and engine anti-ice switches before entering the parking area.

Tried doing a pushback via the FS ACTIONS menu. Nothing happened. Did the shift-P FSX one instead. Now I'm pushed but something keeps reapplying the parking brake the second I release it. The physical brake lever in the virtual cockpit is correctly releasing and re-applying, but the red FSX "PARKING BRAKES" message in the lower left won't go away whatever I press. Quite annoying as just spent 40 minutes preflighting! Any ideas?

I was trying to figure where this indicator is locate, but I cannot find it. Where is the position in the cockpit of this warning light? Found it. Is on the top of overhead panel just under LE DEVICE FLAP lights.

Hello! I've purchased the PMDG 737 NGX via Aerosoft CD-shop then installed SP1C. As the update 1.10.6461 came out for the NGX i installed it aswell and in the windows control panel there is the new version number 1.10.6461. But i'm pretty sure the NGX is still in the same state as prior to the update. I don't have an operations center in my start menu which i obviously need to install new liveries and in-sim radio frequencies still don't get saved when i restore previous panel state.FLT. I tried to delete the NGX and then install it again, one time i did CD->SP1C->1.10.6461 and one time i did install CD->1.10.6461 but both ways don't seem to work. Whe…

Hi there I was hoping that someone would be able to assist in me in working out a small problem that I have with the PMDG 737 600/700 in Steam. I downloaded the 800/900 series from my account with PMDG and having selected the FSX Steam version when prompted, installed this updated version without a hitch. I used OPs Centre to download and install repaints etc. and then started FSX steam. The 800/900 model of the aircraft behaves perfectly for me. Not so much with the 600/700 series. Again, the process I followed was that I downloaded the PMDG 737 600/700 from my account with PMDG and using 'run as admin', run the exe file for 600/700 version. I then selec…

I have just been having loads of problems trying to get sp1-d installed from DVD. I followed PMDG's instructions on how to do it very carefully and when I tried to run fs2crew I got a message indicating that I needed to update 737 NGX to sp1c. I am not sure if this could be a problem with fs2crew, or that the NGX update was not successful, so how is there a way I can check the actual version of 737 NGX is actually installed? Hi i have been using NGX, which is working well apart from about two hours into the flight it decides to freeze on me. I do not get a fatal errors but the sim just freezes.Any Ideas ?Regards Chris

Hello, I bought today the NGX for Prepar3d 2.5. Everything seemed fine, until the VR. When airborne, the sim began to freeze 5 seconds every two minutes or so, in every flight I have tried. I can say that I have the PMDG 777 and everything works great, 30 fps constant, so my PC works fine. Please help me. PD. Sorry for my bad english

Hi there, When flying with the PMDG 737 800, I can't get any vor dme approaches, to airports that I know have them. I am using the latest navigraph airac. I have included a picture to show the issue. At LPMA, I should have a option to fly a vor dme approach, and none of the approaches match up with the approach plate. How do I get a vor dme approach? Regards DcoltGaming

Hello. I've recently reinstalled FSX and the PMDG 737 NGX yesterday, along with ezdok. However, after using the EZCA (as administrator) config tool and checking my cfg several times, I can't the cockpit to work properly. I can only see the 2D-cockpit, and when I try to change views, it sometimes goes over to the 3D-cockpit, or just stays in the 2D-cockpit. Has anybody else encountered this problem and know how to fix this? I'm losing hope, so to speak. Thanks in advance, guys and gals! EDIT: I'm also using windows 8.1.
