PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

i have had the Pmdg 737 for the last year now with no problems. I usually always have the short panel state as the startup panel. Latly I have been enjoying the cold and dark. So I would always choose the cold and dark panel at the gate. So recently I changed the panel start up state from my ussual short to cold and dark. I then closed fsx and reopened fsx and started the Pmdg at the gate. The ngx is cold and dark but the problem is I don't get the 15 second panel loading time? And I can't click anything in the cockpit? I really don't know what's going on here? If ya guys have any idea why this cold and dark panel ain't loading at start up. Thanks guy…

Does anyone know if it's possible to modify the colours on the PFD on the NGX? Since that option has been removed from the PMDG settings on the NGX I was wondering if there's an config file that could be modified? I find the blue and brown colours a bit too bright so that's the reason I want to change them Thanks in advance!

I purchased the 737NGX a while ago, and everything worked great. Just recently, I bought Flightbeam's KDEN hd, and when I went to go make my route, all of the sudden all of my nav data is gone. When I click on DEP/ARR, nothing shows up. Somehow, my database got erased completely! How do I get the Database back in the NGX? Any free options? -Austin Hohenshelt

I'm trying to bind the A/P Engage CMD to my joystick but I can't figure out what key is bound to it. I'm in P3D and I've looked at all of the keys listed for Autopilot but there doesb't seem to be a default key mapped to the command???

I'd like to start by thanking the PMDG team for updating the 737, the weather radar integration is a fantastic feature, and something I would have gladly paid for. I have an issue with the master caution system, every time I hit "recall" I get a caution for the fuel panel on the captain's side and an anti-ice one on the copilots side. This happens in flight and on the ground, and none of the amber lights are illuminated on the corrisponding panels. I'm not sure if this is related to the update, but It never happened before. Greetings fellow NGX pilots. For the lat few months, I've been having a weird sound problem that doesn't seem to be replicated by anyone else on the internet. When I'm in the cockpit, in any stage of flight, and I switch to an external view, and then return to the cockpit, I now here a sound as if the engines were running at about 85-90%, including the growl of the supersonic turbine tips. If I'm on the ground with the engines off, I hear this along with the cockpit sounds (PACKS, hydraulics, fans, etc). When I'm in the air, this sound is overlayed on top of the actual engine sound. What's weird is it goes away after a decent change in N1. For example, as one engine s…

To make a coordinated turn and therefore 'keep the ball in the middle' in a Cessna 152 or 172 for example, when one banks the ailerons concurrently adequate rudder pressure needs to be be applied by the pilot flying. Is this the same with the 737 NG? When manually banking the 737, does the aircraft automatically apply the rudder or the should the pilot apply the rudder to make a coordinated turn? * I've been noting that I have to input some rudder on the NGX to make coordinated turns... I don't know whether rudder input is needed in the real aircraft... Thanks!

Hi Everyone: I am having a terrible time trying to re-install all my NGX liveries. I got a new hard drive (old one died), did a fresh install of EVERYTHING for FSX, but for some reason the new NGX liveries simply won't show up for me. In the Operations Center when I go to the free downloaded liveries, they indicate that they are installed correctly (Green bar that says "installed). THey are showing up in the Livery Manager too. I also see the corresponding texture folders in the associated Sim Objects PMDG folders, and I see the appropriate thumbnail that is created in each texture folder, and the CFG file in the associated folder lists the installed liveries, but…

I was wondering if a developer is allowed to charge money for a driver interface to interface hardware with the PMDG NGX? If I recall correctly, I believe this is not the case (thought I read it somewhere a few years ago), but I wanted to make sure because I've spotted a website where they are charging money for interfacing the FlyEngravity CDU with the PMDG NGX. All of my PMDG products are box versions. The 777 radar works fine. But after downloading the SP from Aerosoft for the 737NGX and installing it bringing it up to 1.10.6461, which the PMDG Ops Center verifies, the wx radar controls are not clickable and the gain dials do not turn. The mouse arrow remains an arrow and it does not turn into a little hand like when you click on other switches in the cockpit. Help would be appreciated. brandon garcia

I have installed the 737ngx for P3Dv2.5; the op center is up to date; the livery download manager works?; it shows downloaded and installed but they are not showing up in the vehicle list. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob

Can anyone confirm what other software is necessary to use this hardware with 737 NGX ? Can PMD technical support offer any assistance with initial installation / configuration ?

I just purchased the PMDG NGX 737 and I am having trouble with the activation code when I select the 737 at the free flight screen it ask for an Activation code included with the game, I entered the order code that I received with the 737 add on and it is not working. Hi, I hope you can help me I've a problem with the PMDG's 737 on Prepar3d 2.5 (latest version) I start with the long panel state, everything works as it should, but after all the FMC's configurations, pushback and start up, one minute after starting the taxi towards the runway, the sim freezes. I'm still able to hear the engines running but everything is still, no crash report but it doesn't recover. I've to close the sim with the force close. I've the latest FSUIPC version. Topic says it all but are we likely to see the ability to import wind data from PFPX or active sky on the 737? Would be neat as i do more start/stop flying with the 737 than the longer flights of the 777.

hey good day all, I am sorry if I have posted this in the incorrect resource forum but i dont know where to start. Recently after updating my NGX, I noticed my water became the same color as the sky in FSX, it has not corrected even after deleting the shader cache and allowing it to rebuild. also reinstalling new REX textures or FS water configurator textures has not helped. I dont know if its related to updating the NGX, Any suggestions are welcomed i Would hate to have to reinstall my FSX I use FSX NGX REX texture direct ORBX global and vector OPUS FSWC

Hi all. have just installed SP1d and all is good apart from 2 things I noticed. My default is always CLDDRK on next startup, but I noticed that the L1 door loads up with the door opened. I worked out a fix for that, in the CLDDRK.sav file look for the line: Door 1L Position=0.200000 1.000000 1.000000 1143.110430 Change it to: Door 1L Position=0.200000 0.000000 0.000000 1143.110430 and SAVE I also notice that the top beacon light seems to permanently glow with CLD and dark activated, with all power off Should it be like this? I was playing with the autopilot on with no problems and then all of a sudden it disengaged and no longer will we engage. I have no warning lights hydraulics are on everything looks good yet the autopilot will not engage.

I wonder if is normal to have this difference of oil qty between the two engines.
