I'm kinda X threaded on the take off set up . What i do is advanced to 40% stable -advance to take off mode - hit the toga screw with the Auto throttle on . If i fully advance the throttles at this point they go in the red so back them to match the take off power EX 95% and monitor them all the way up and just as she goes from climb to cruise mode i put the throttles fully open and they are good and then on Top Of Descend and come back as they should . Just wondering what procedure you guys are using cause for me its kinda hit and miss.

My first time flying gps rnp approaches in the ngx and I have a question. When I press APP on the MCP, the light on the APP button does not light up like it would during an ILS approach. I see on the PFD that RNP is activated. Is that by design? - David Lee

Hello, on my last flight I have a couple issues with the autopilot which I couldn't work out myself so I came to ask for help. First, shorty after takeoff the autopilot disconnected during climbout. At 10k feet it suddenly disconnected and the horn sounded. The aircraft was flying normally. I reconnected and it was ok until it disconnected again passing 15k. Again I engaged it without a problem. The aircraft wasn't stalling, overspeed, anything which may make the AP disengage. The was no control inputs from my joystick. Secondly, as I reached cruise altitude the aircraft started slowly banking right until it flew off course. The FD bars were commanding a left tur…

Good morning Gentlemen, I recently purchased the beautifull B737 NGX for my FSX, this is my order number [removed], the purchase was done on July 18, 2015. The reason? I jumped to P3D and of course I will buy this aircraft again, the problem is that I don't want to pay twice for the aircraft since I am not going to use FSX anymore... EVER... Now, is it posible to get a refund considering that I purchased the plane less than a month ago, I am not going to use it anymore, and I will buy it again for the new Flight Simulador? Hopefully yes. I have a problem with my NGX (v1.00.3057). I do not have any cockpit sounds (EGPWS, TCAS, Fire bells, Cautions, switches clicks etc). Other sounds (engines, wind etc) are OK. And its only with NGX. There is no such issue with any other aircraft (including PMDG 744X). My Windows playback device is set to stereo, as it is stereo. In FSX sound device is default (and switching to other options does not help). And when I go to sound options on aircraft's FMC/CDU it says 'device: none' and when I click it, there are no sound devices. I can't think of anything else to fix it. Clicking 'Q' twice does not help either. I have an onboard sound card(Realtek ALC 892).My PC:Asus M5A97 …

Guys, I have the FS2Crew Reboot and am having problems where they recommend I uninstall it and PMDG NGX and then start over "clean". I am running Win7 and P3D 2.5+ hotfixes. Before I do the NGX uninstall I wanted to make sure I have the proper steps to do it. I seem to remember from old forum posts about doing something in the FMC before doing the Win Control Panel Uninstall of NGX. But after 1.5 hours of searching these forums and PMDG manuals I just can't find any reference to it. Can anyone provide all the proper steps to complete this process. It would be greatly appreciated since I want to do this right the first time. Thanks, Jerry

Since I installed the latest version of NGX and the 600 extender a couple of weeks ago, and FS2Crew Reboot a week ago, I havent been able to align the IRS. No one on the FS2Crew forum has this problem, so I'm thinking it's a problem with the NGX somehow. Here's what happens: I start cold and dark, or if I start with the short Panel State, I turn the IRS off, wait at least 30 seconds then , turn the IRS align knobs to "NAV". The "ON DC" lights illuminate, then extinguish. The "ALIGN" lights start flashing and that's how they will stay for an hour if i wait that long. Gentlemen, not sure if this has been asked before. Does anyone notice any change since SP1d in the way frequencies are received? Specifically, during approach to Cologne-Bonn EDDK runway 32R I lost the ILS signal after becoming established on localizer and glide slope. Turned out I had tuned the old frequency of 109.70 instead of the new one of 111.10, because I was using an old scenery which I had not updated or modified. Seems like the NGX (now?!) uses the AIRAC data to "receive" navaids instead or - more precisely - in addition to the scenery data. Hi, I recently bought both 737 NGX and 777 under P3Dv2.5 Im happy with them exept for one anoying problem... When im switching on the DOME light, it seems that i don't have any overhead light coming up, only the main panel, like if it was missing a texture or an effect ... Hello Since I reinstalled the NGX for fs2crew REBOOT, I am having a problem. When I am ready for taxi, the pass oxy light lights up. And after take off, cabin alt horn sounds and the AUTO FAIL light is on. I have set the Air Cond panel correctly (i think) as you can see on the pictures. (Ready for take off fase) RECIRC BOTH AUTO PACKS AUTO ISO VALVE AUTO ENG BLEEDS ON APU BLEED OFF My CRZ and LAND alt is also set in the overhead and FMC. I need help, like serious help. I have the pmdg 737 ngx installer and when I try to install it to steam edition, it goes to the box version. I also uninstalled the box version and then when I ran the installer, It said, "unable to locate fsx.exe." There is a steam edition now but I dont know how to update the installer to steam edtion. I just need some help.

I removed the unrealistic "approved for overwater operations" ETOPS sticker from the panel, but at night, it shows as a dark square above the PFD see screenshot below. How can this be removed? Thank you - David Lee

I always fly with random failures on (some 5 random failures each 10 hours)... Lately, in almost all flights I get a pressurization failure in which the "auto fail" becomes on in the pressurization panel, the cruise altitude and landing field altitude become dashed, the passenger masks are deployed, I get a boring beep sound almost the rest of the flight and the alternate pressurization mode or the manual pressurization mode have no effect at all... In the failures page I get "passenger masks deployed" or something like that...BTW, I can't deactivate this failure when it happens... So, how many of you have this problem? Thanks

Is this aircraft a newer separate version of the ngx? I feel it has better wing and paint resolution, and I found has a better smoother handling. I also noticed that the wing ailerons kind of move smoother, similar to the 777, with more frame positions between movement positions. I also noticed that its the only pmdg aircraft that gets its aileron movements recorded with FSrecorder.

OK. I uninstalled and reinstalled and re-activated PMDG 737 NGX and I've installed the recommended simconnect interfaces and I cannot get the virtual cockpit knobs that control speed, heading, altitude, range, altimeter etc. to function. Some of these functions are available on the 2D panels and they work OK there. I've found the click spots and know what the grey hand and the white hand signify. The mouse wheel doesn't do anything and left and or right clicking has no effect in virtual cockpit. I am using the most current drivers and the latest Prepar3d install. Any suggestions? when trying to join multiplayer session prompt says fsx has stopped responding, i have the pmdg T7 which works fine in multiplayer and have many friends that have both aircraft working in multiplayer, ive reinstalled simconnect, fsuipc, reinstalled pmdg 737 with fresh download, im not even gonna attepmt to email pmdg cause i know what there gonna say , but i know the plane works in multiplayer regardless of what the tell me, this is a payed and resgistered version, someone please help me

Using FSX I transitioned from the old airplane to the new Weather Radar enabled NGX the other day. I thought I would share my experience here. I followed the instructions here in the forum and the first thing I did somewhat to my reluctance (I had a flawless NGX working) was to uninstall the old airplane. That was a breeze using the Program Removal feature in the Control Panel (WIN 7 64 Bit). All your airplanes will be gone in all the airline liveries. If you saved the old livery downloads, it is very easy to reinstall them again.
