PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi, I seem to be having an issue with my NGX, everything is okay when getting off the ground, however, midflight the displays suddenly turn black, all of them except for the FMC. I don't know what could be causing this. Any help is greaful thanks

Hello I have a new installation of P3D 2.5 am my Windows 10 PC. I have installed PMDG 737 for P3D. After starting the P3D i loaded the 737. I get no funktion of any Button and no funktion on the screens (FMC, CDU,...) I got no Window for the Serial. Is this normal ? Can everybody help me ?? Thanks Patrick

Hello Everyone I purchased the 737NGX software in May 2012 but was not able to use it as I made an error and did not have the specifications to use it. I am now in the process of buying a new system with the required specifications. I plan to use FSX STEAM I understand that I require service pack 1D in order for the 737NGX to work with FSX STEAM. If I go to "MY PREVIOUS ORDERS" page and re-dowload the 737NGX software will this contain service pack 1D or do i have to d/load the service pack seperately? I cannot see the location of the service pack so assume that re-dowload of the software contains the service pack Guidance and advice is appreciated …

Well, after several years of using the NGX, I started having issues. Today when I parked on the gate and started preparing for my next flight, both of my FMCs have become totally unresponsive, left one shoving landing ref page but with some missing numbers, and the right one (which I haven't used) showed the first init page it does when its powered on. None of the buttons on fmcs seamed to do anything, both in vc and in 2d popup. All of the other displays worked just fine. This issue has occured multiple times over the last month or so, and, even stranger, exact same issue occured on my Majestic dash8q400, fmc frozen and displays working.

Hello, I created an Excel spreadsheet to convert a list of coordinates into a rte file with costum waypoints. A first test from EDDM to EDLP in the NGX worked, but an other flight plan from EDDM to ENKR is not readable ("Destination Airport not found in rte file") The destination airport at the end of the unreadable rte file: ENKR 1 - 1 N 69.72500 E 29.88780 282 ----- 0 0 1 282 - -1000000 -1000000 Full EDDM-ENKR rte is here The working EDDM-EDLP rte is here Is there any documentation of the rte format available?

Friends I squeezed in some key unintentionally and I have more track vision in the cockpit 2d, 3d cockpit have normal vision. How do I regain the vision in 2D mode? 3d mode is normal

Hi, When I selecting 738/739 in the main P3D menu I get 2 P3D windows (as per the screenshot) attached. Once the plane is loaded on the sim, the second window disappear which is ok. The problem however occurs with loading saved flight as the second window cannot be loaded from saved situation and apparently P3D freezes. It only happens with 738 and 739, and not with 736-737 and T7. The question is simple - how to get rid of this second window on start-up. Hi, I found that NGX displays are laggy compared to the real ones. In fact, on real displays, numbers transition and animation look more fluid : I tried to set the ​the cdu fps limited on unlimited but it seems like the displays are fps limited anyhow. I'm also using 2d gauges on a second monitor. Is there a way to get smoother displays, or to use any other external gauges with the NGX? OTHMANE SAFIR

How many of you input the information for descents from the addon tab in FSX? If so, when do you enter it? Right before descent, during or a distance from TOD?

Hi folks I recently did a flight from EGGD (Bristol) to EGJJ (Jersey). The route was planned using PFPX. The STAR to runway 26 ILS was the JSY2Q. When I went into the FMC to program that STAR I found there was 3 transitions JSY1, JSY2 and JSY3. I could not find any mention on the Jersey charts about these 3 transitions. I have found similar transitions for other STARs into other airports. Can anyone explain what they are and where I would find the charts that show these transitions? Regards Colin Ackerman

I've been flying this 737 for 2 weeks now and has worked perfect for me until today. Last night I did a flight on VATSIM as usual and it went flawless. I wake up this morning and start up FSX, got to the menu loaded my airport, set my weather, and ajusted my time, but when I load my aircraft I select PMDG 737 800 WL (the same livery I flew many times before) and I hit ok and the aircraft starts to rotate in the menu and about 4 seconds later I get "Fatal error occured". I've tried to uninstall everything and reinstal and same thing. try to load up as a different aircraft and same thing, it crashes. I have failures set to nil, and have seen this light, but also see it go out after starting my runup. I know that this is part of the simulation. Tonight, it didn't go off, and I got an AUTO FAIL as well leading me to choose to land heavy, after circling for a while, playing with the QRH. The question is, will you see failures even if Service Based Failures is set to NO, and Time Based Failures also set to NO?

Hi, Sim: P3D V2.5 12946 Environment: W7 64bit, 128GB RAM, NVIDIA K4000 3GB, Intel 8 core Xeon E5-2687W, 3.1GHz Airplane: PMDG 737NGX V1.10.6461 My problem is that the texture particular the texts above buttons, knobs etc. are a little bit too blurry and hard to read with normal zoom around 0.5 - 0.7. In the PMDG Operations Center you can change in the Performance Page between High Resolution and Low Resolution for the VC but there is no difference.. Always the same ! I tried a lot of tuning in the P3D settings and also by directly editing the prepar3d.cfg following a lot of advises from the Internet.but no success. Any suggestion is highly appreciated. …

Hi, I have the PMDG 737 NGX Base pack installed to FSX and are thinking of buying the 600/700 as well but are a bit curious about the price. You see I think that the price on the 737-600/700 is very high in relation to the base pack regarding thet it is practically the same plane, just a bit shorter. Why is this so expensive and is it possible to get it cheaper or get a reasonable discount?

Does the 737 NGX reference the altitude for the above AAL or is RA? I know in the real NG The FMC actually uses AAL (barometric height above aerodrome), not RA. As RA is not suited for that purpose as it shows height above the ground the aircraft is currently over, which can vary a lot from the altitude the runway is at, think of a valley or hill right behind the runway or something! The reason i ask is, looking at the RA after takeoff everything switches over exactly on the RA..

hello guys, Both my course and heading stay frozen in 167 degrees i try to manually change but it automatically goes back, doesnt affect in lnav but if i swirch heading select it locks in whatever heading it wants. After the takeoff, the plane go out of control, all the controls are laggy and unflyable, and the gear doesn't go up and the gear lever remain in up position with all the lights, red and green, illuminated. Hello I have decided on my specification for new computer system for FSX and 737NGX I already have the disks for FSX but was wondering if it would be an idea to purchase and install the Steam edition instead of the original FSX Is there any problems with the STEAM edition and 737NGX? I made a livery using the kit downloaded from the pmdg website for the 737-800ngx. I finished the tail and main fuselage and im ready to put it into my sim. I was watching a video on it and it told me to open fuselage 1, 2 and 3. I don't have them in my kit? What do I do and how do I get it into my sim (fsx) Please help!
