PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi, Its been a long time since flying the Ng 600, but SAS v fly it and I remember enjoying with TrackIR how easy it was to look back and not only see the wings so close to the cockpit but clearly seeing the engines. Having bought the 600/700 again for P3D it was very disappointing to see your have chopped them OFF. Is there a way to have them back? Please its a real shame :mad: .......no chance but thought I would ask anyway :(

Hello Captains ! I just realise that I have an issue with the stab trim, when I use a button (from a joystick) the trim down stop at 3.5 (trim up works fine) if I use the mouse to turn the trim wheel inside the virtual cockpit everything is find. PS : I have tried mapping the button with controls from fsx, FSUIPC, LINDA. All 3 ways do the same. Any Ideas ? Thanks Ben,

I'm getting an error that says I need to enable TLS 1.2 in my Internet Options. It's already enabled. Do I need to enable or disable something else?

I just moved my USB sound dongle for my headset to another USB port. Its all running well again but i've lost some sound and thats the clicking noise of when you move switches etc. Everything else is sounding great is there a way round this without me quitting my flight on vatsim and restarting FSX

Hello, I'm thinking of buying Open Cockpit's 737 CDUv.3 mainly for my PMDG 737 NGX. Does anyone have this? Is it hard to set up to work with the NGX? Is it a good quality unit? Any opinions by some who have purchased it would be appreciated. Thank you, Bob

Dear PMDG, About a week ago, a problem starting to appear from nowhere, where FSX-SE would suddenly freeze. I've done many checks to see what may cause this freeze and if it really is the NGX. First thing I checked was the Event Viewer. Every time I fly the NGX, it will freeze. The timing will change but it is 95% certain that it will freeze. So each time I check event viewer, nothing was logged about FSX. Then I tried flying with other aircraft such as the B777 and the Aerosoft A320. I never had any problems with both aircraft. Also I checked many forums on what may be the issue and people recommended to turn off "auto-Save" in FSUIPC. I checked my settings and I nev…

I did a re-install of the FSX but now the fonts inside the VC seem corrupted. Notice that the fonts are a sans-serif style font as opposed to the digital style font. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried doing another re-install, but no luck. Blue skies!

Hi, I planned a flight from Charlotte to Norfolk, VA and when I was enroute, I entered the star "drone1" and tried to execute it it just freezed and won't do anything then I pressed another star - Terks2, pressed execute and all was fine. Is there a problem with the fmc can't read drone1 or was drone1 a bad file? I'm using the data that came with the plane. Thanks! Brian

Somebody might be able to help me with this but I suspect that there is in fact no real solution until PMDG release a fix. I am using a widescreen. From the 2D cockpit view I have 2 choices: The runway is not visable on approach as the “seat” position is to low. However when on the ground the runway perspective looks about right and I get the correct visual impression of speed as I accelerate down the runway. I can change the view so that I can see the runway on approach but when on the ground the runway appears to narrow and the visual impression of speed is way to fast. To all thoses who have resolved the issue of a dead 737 NGX in P3Dv3 Background I had PMDG737 (Base + Expansion) and 777 (Base + Expansion) installed and working perfect in P3Dv2.6. H/w Issue A week ago, I had a motherboard issue and have had no chance to uninstall the products or access windows at all as I had to rebuild the whole system and do a fresh install. Current : At the moment all I have is P3Dv3 + SDK installed on its own SSD (D drive) Also I have only installed PMDG 737 base pack which installed fine with no errors that I could see. Hi, I am having trouble at the moment with the PFD and ND undocked panels on a 2nd monitor. 1. I open FSX and Select the aircraft and start a flight 2. I go to Views -> Instrument Panels -> Zoomed Left Outboard DU and Zoomed Left Inboard DU 3. I undock the panels 4. I then move the undocked panels to the 2nd monitor 5. Once there the 2 panels are the same panel but they should be one PFD and the other ND. So if i move the PFD first, i then get the PFD undocked panel but then when i move the ND undocked panel over to the 2nd monitor, it displays as the PFD. I seem to have trouble getting 737ngx in. I downloaded from pmdg the latest file, I have an pmdg account. Install as normal and simconnects. I guess I am suppose to use the activation tool v2? cause it doesn't ask for serial..one time everything was fine but the minute I download any liveries..and lets say reboot, P3dv3.o won't boot. I have taken everything out and removed all references to pmdg in registry. No go. I have not reinstalled till I hear back. I do not have 2.5..installed any longer but a clean install of 3.0 only. Was enroute ESSA-LGAV and about 1 hour into the flight I noticed how nothing in the v/c responded. I could try adjusting the heading but the numbers didn't change on the MCP and trying to do things in the FMC same thing...no matter what I clicked or what I did I couldn't change a thing. Since the flight was online on VATSIM I had to cancel the flight and disconnect :( when the ATC gave me a direct and I couldn't follow the instruction since I couldn't update the FMC. Still the aircraft kept running and looking out of the cockpit window I could see how we progressed with the ground passing under us...it was only everything in the v/c that for some reason froze. Asked the same question over in the P3D forum here on Avsim but found out this seems to be more of a issue specific to the NGX. Noticed how all NGX sounds are muted when P3D looses focus and this is new to me. Have never had this issue before and this is even with the option in P3D to mute the sound on lost focus unchecked and this only relates to the specific NGX sounds. When airborne and with the engines running these sounds stay even when P3D is not in focus. Anyone else seen this issue? Dear madams, sirs, I'm running Windows 10 with P3Dv3 and your B737-800, with V-Bird livery and Opencockpits CDU/MCP/EFIS and Fs2Crew Reboot (latest). Now I have a problem with both Opencockpits MCP and FS2Crew to engage Command A. Neither will work. Only by mouse clicking direct in the VC will activate Command A. At EPGD RNAV (GNSS) 29 / 11 it mentions on the LIDO charts, Navigraph, RNP Required but what value? 0.3? Looked at the AIP for EPGD and it does mention RNP required. Just to add in a ICAO DOC text it says, The required RNP will be labelled on the chart next to the minima. But where is it.,,,

I tried to do AS 65 last night to PANC in the NGX, looked at the Departures and Arrivals and could not find this departure. Is this a private Alaska Airlines departure also ? I installed Andrew's file for PAJN which overwrites the Navigraph PAJN so it might be a new departure for everybody but I am guessing it is owned by Alaska ?

Hi, I have been flying sims for over ten years now, on and off. However, always used provide planes from the sims. I started out with the ms 2004 and ended up with fsx-se. And that where I am right now. It all got a bit boring though. Once you have flown the missions, there is not a lot more a standard aircraft can give you. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member on this forum. I have a lot to learn and I might have a question now and again. Ok NGX pilots Your doing a flight from EGGP to LSGG and the FMS CRZ page is showing OPT 402 / MAX 410. Your OFP has a planned cuising FL of 410 because you can't use FL400 (OPT) because its a EVEN FL. France RVSM use SOUTH bound flights ODD FLs and NORTH bound EVEN. Unlike the standard ICAO East/West rule for some countrys in Europe. You're the captain and need to decide - would you cruise at FL410 MAX Certified alt / MAX ALT or do you cruise at FL390 - 1000ft lower than OPT or 1000ft higher than OPT FL410.
