PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I installed the latest version for P3D, in P3Dv3 and far as I can see everything works, except that I cant activate the pop-up panels for the PFD/MFD. With the Shift-1, Shift-2, etc, I can call up several panels, but clicking on the PFD/MFD panels doesnt activate them. What could the problem be that is bugging those pop-ups, and what can I do to get this fixed? Cheers!

I use the PMDG-737 and purchased the ElectronicFlightBag program. By reading the manual I am under the impression that I should be able to get data in the DisplayUnit. ( see link above as an example ) Unfortuantely I cannot see a DisplayUnit in the PMDG-737.Why ? How to implerment and then where to find it ? Thank you for your help HubertWernie

Hey guys, I have just re-installed Prepar3D. I have downloaded 737ngx BASE PACK with ADMINISTRATOR, and I have made sure I have all right permissions. I clicked the 737 in the scenario screen, but for some reason the activation menu will not pop up. No buttons/panels will work either. Please respond soon. It may be some registry or some FNPLicensing problem Idk.

When and why would a pilot switch to ALIGN ATT mode ? What are the advantages and how would he continue to fly ? I noticed that after switching to ATT mode VNav and the autopilot disconnect and cannot be reconnected again ? So what then is the purpose of ATT mode ? Hi All, Perhaps someone can shed some light on the following. Autolands in the 737NGX (all models) used to be, imo, perfect. Ever since I installed Prepar3d v3 autolands do differ, though. All settings are exactly the same as they were for the 737 P3Dv2 version, both autopilots are engaged, but now when the main gear touches down the 737's nose is going to point towards the sky. As mentioned, both A/Ps are engaged, approach speed is in accordance with the speed indicated on the FMS, rollout is announced and is active, but I have to steer the nose gear manually onto the runway. Hello, I know this is not PMDG's fault but I am looking for some help. I have searched the web and these forums for help and I am unable to register an account with flight1 as it is giving me some error, so of course no help from that publisher. Hi all, Just installed P3D version3 and NGX yesterday and just made 1 flight. My problem (aside from ATC window not showing up despite keyboard commands), parking brake won't set. Chocks work fine, but parking brake stays off. It won't set, either via Ctrl+. key press nor my hardware button assigned to the brakes. If I step on my rudder pedal brakes and while pressing on the brakes and make the brake key press simlutaneously, then the parking brake will set. Once I step off of the rudder pedals, then the parking brake releases. This did not happen with my previous version of PMDG NGX. Any clue? Kay Nemoto

Pretty much says it all. I've noticed that during a go-around, it'll drop out of LNAV. I'm using our company profile which is pretty standard I'm sure: TOGA, flaps 15... positive rate, gear up, set/verify missed approach altitude... at 500ft, LNAV, flaps 5... clean up on schedule. Reaching clean maneuver speed, LVL CHG. At that point, the FMA indicates MCP SPEED for a pitch mode which is correct, but roll mode also drops back to HDG SEL. Only happens on a go-around, not on takeoff. Anyone else experience this? Is there a setting or option somewhere that controls this behavior? Thanks...

Hi all, Since clean installing Windows 10 and a a fresh sim instal with all addons using the very latest installers, I am seeing an unusual issue. I never had this issue with my previous install. Rather too soon after take off, perhaps around 30-60 seconds after getting airborne, and before reaching flap retraction speed, the NGX is throttling back from take off power to around 94% N1. This is on Autothrottle, TOGA activated on the runway after spooling N1 up to around 40% first. I am flying a flight plan I have created and there are no speed limits or altitude limits on the SID. I even removed the 250/10000 limit. It happens at pretty much any airport too. This h…

I'm sure this is an FSX:SE/ SimConnect issue, just unsure as to how to avoid/ fix it. I was taking off and clicked the middle of the nav display to better see my SID as I flew it. Once I got to a good point I turned on the AP and clicked the nav display again to put it back into the VC screen. After that I lost my ability to bring up 2D popups by clicking, no ability to turn knobs, click the warning lights, etc. I have to switch to the 2D cockpit and panels to change anything. I had this issue when I first installed and I noticed a readme that came with the T7 installer saying to go and install all those other SimConnect versions. I did that and it seemed to fix i…

Hi all- I had this issue way back when and forgot what I did to fix it. Set flight plan KLAX-BSR-KSFO, take off and climb, VNAV/LVAVAP all set and lit as usual, jet just drifts/ will not follow course. Reinstalled the NGX after installing P3D3.0 so I'm assuming all service packs are included in the latest install. Did not have this problem in 2.5 Any ideas? Thanks, Mark

Hi, As the title says, I am after some advice on setting up FSUIPC settings for the flight controls to make them as realistic as possible. I have been playing round for awhile trying to find the perfect set up but i am struggling, I either get them too sensitive or the told opposite! I am mainly trying to adjust with the slope figure, so any advice would be wonderful and I would try them out. Cheers Rob

Hi guys, I have a fresh Windows 10 installation, with a brand-new Prepar3d V3 installation, together with the PMDG 737 NGX. I've installed one of aircraft from A2A as well as the global base package from ORBX. With the default aircraft and the other add-on aircraft the Sim is smooth as butter. However, as soon as I load the NGX, I get significant stutters. The simulation is smooth for 10 seconds, and then it freezes for a couple of seconds where the CPU utilisation drops to 0. The smoothness then returns for another 10 seconds, followed by another freeze, and so on. During my last attempt the whole thing ended in a bluescreen. Windows 10 spent some time record…

Was planning a flight from KRSW to MWCR. I auto planned the route, coming up with CSHEL5 LAL DCT RSW DCT TADPO UG448 ATUVI GORAN3. The SID was CSHEL5 and the TRANS used was LAL. Following this departure route, it increased the overall length by 50%. Further, the LAL to TADPO was a 180 degree turn. In scenarios such as this, would a SID even be used? Would their be modification to make it more efficient in both distance and turns?

Hello i just bought P3D v2 and PMDG 737 to P3D v2 and i see that when i install the 737, the PMDG_Interface.dll doesnt get installed only the PMDG_HUD_interface.dll i've been trying to reinstall many times now but still doesnt work, anyone knows how to fix this? Cheers Kevin Yrjövaara

I am attempting to follow this approach chart; http://www.arianedesign.com/modules/assets/master/upload19069-577_XBoeing737NORMALPROCEDURES.jpg It shows the airplane in flaps 5 prior to the final approach. However, when flying in the sim, the "DECEL" point is too close to the final approach to meet the speed requirement. If put the flaps down sooner than the DECEL point, the FMC locks on VNAV speed, messing up the flight path. (Come in way to high for the approach) Other than using the speed brakes once crossing the DECEL point (which sometimes isn't even enough), what else can I do? Is flaps 5 not supposed to be reached prior to the approach leg / VOR is captured? …

One time i started up my 737 and the HUD was not working and still will not work i have tryd uninstallin g it and redownloding it can some one pleas help the onley thing that is in with the NGX if FS2Crew Reboot please help.

Was looking to do a flight out of LSZH and they have SID TRANSITIONS, but not showing up in the FMS and PFPX TRANSITION BOX is greyed out for TRANSITIONS. So how does this work then will i need to manually create the SID TRANSITION in PFPX to the same waypoints on my SID TRANSITION chart?

Just installed the NGX today into P3D v2.5 without a hitch. Flew from KSNA, Latin VFR to CYYZ, Fly Tampa. Also FTX Global and FS Global 10. No problems and everything worked perfect. Great Job PMDG. Most engine start procedures I've seen and followed have both Engine Hydraulic Pumps ON - and both Electric Hydraulic Pumps OFF Then I stumbled on this YouTube video and noticed he has the two left switches OFF and the two right switches On while starting Engine 2. I thought the engine pumps should always be on to preserve the solenoid life... perhaps that's trivial. Anyway... the video made me curious.

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. I spoke with a distant uncle who flies with Southwest, and of course asked him some questions (I want to be in his shoes one day!) One question that I was really curious about was the cost index. On youtube, you see people putting in various numbers, but I wanted to know what the real pilots use, and he said that a typical value was 20-25. Hey guys, I am pleased to say that I will be (probably) getting the PMDG737NGX the only thing that stands in my way, frames. My specs are Intel [email protected], 3GB RAM, ATI Radeon 5670HD. Please note, all i want is a ballpark figure of how many frames i would be getting. I have had the Aerosoft A320/21 pack and get around 10-15 frames if that helps.
