PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

After completing all the steps to prepare the 737NGX for flight, I press the "send" button. Topcat goes through the transfer process (blue progress bars) and reports all done (except for fuel and payload). When I check the CDU pages none of the info has been entered, I have checked and rechecked my work, correct plane, etc but still no joy. Topcat forum is read only and no info there. I have the Aerosoft boxed version of PMDG 737NGX (v1.00.3219) and have downloaded the file from the Aerosoft support website which is, what I believe to be, the update (v1.10.6461). Do I just install it (over the top of the existing version) or do I need to delete/uninstall the current version first? Will I need to reinstall my liveries for the NGX, or will they be picked up within the PMDG Control Centre. Thanks for any help and comments.

I am using FSX Acceleration. Sometimes when entering winds into the FMC legs page, my FMC freezes. I cannot change any settings and the wind numbers in the scratch pad are stuck there. Sometimes it happens after entering the first wind on the waypoint and sometimes after the 3rd. What is causing this? - David Lee

This problem has been posted before but I can't seem to find a fix for my issue. My FSX PMDG 737NGXW/L liveries were previously displayed in the FSX 'Show all variations' UNTIL I added my last livery. I no find that none of the 737ngx liveries show. However they are shown in the PMDG Ops Livery scetion. I removed this latest livery BUT now, the other liveries no longer show. I'm also having the same problem with FSX:SE. These images best describe the problem. I have installed the livery using the Ops center livery manager and a manual install.. still no joy. ALL aircraft .cfgs are correct with no syntax errors. Anyone able to help please?

Hi Pilots, Since the re-install of the PMDG NGX 737-800 I have a problem with the panels. The strange thing is that the default PMDG NGX is working fine, but with other liveries there is a problem. I use 2D panels (checked in the settings instead of 3D), because I use FS2Crew and EZDOK as well. I install the new liveries with the 'Livery Manager'. Only with the default NGX livery I can use the new cockpit layout, but with all the others I still get the 'old' one. Does someone know what the problem could be? Cheers, Ryan

I haven't flown the NGX for a while now and the other day I decided to take it up for a flight. Correct me if I'm wrong but does the airspeed on the ground always read 45 kts when stopped? Wasn't that supposed to be normal? Thanks.

Landed (or attempted to) land at 22 R at KJFK. Noticed (after going around and flying it visually) in the aptdata files that the heading was far off from the what the airport was listed. Mind you, this is a downloaded airport (I think from Ray Smith). So, its an updated version of the stock airport. Should I edit the pmdg file or the airport through the editor?

Hi All, I have been working on writing a remote CDU web app server that supports both Android and IOS (and should work with other mobile devices / browsers). The technology used doesn't rely on screen capturing so there is no limitation on running FSX windowed or in full screen. CPU usage on the server is also minimal. The server can serve multiple devices at the same time, so you can run the CDU on your phone while checking your flight's status while your main tablet can be built into your home-cockpit. Hi all, Doing a clean install of Windows 10 and FSX. Just want to check. If I download the current NGX installer from my purchases on the PMDG website, do I still need to run the service packs and if so, can I just install the last one or must I run 1b, 1c and 1d. Or maybe just 1d? Thanks!

A simple question, can you get the fixed derate, assumed temp, and flaps setting from the TOPCAT free trial? I have been unable to find the answer to this question. I ran a route last night (KBHM to KATL)... upon planning the route, the approach stars preloaded into the FMC into Atlanta were not even close to the current stars from airnav... so without any knowledge of any other way to do it, instead of using a star into Atlanta, I picked an RNAV approach from my last waypoint between BHM and ATL, which due to the runway I came in on had a U turn to make that first point of the RNAV into ATL. I know the preloaded STARS must have been valid at the time PMDG created the database for the NGX 737 base package, but (for Atlanta at least), I couldn't get a visual of what the approach looked like. I have purchased 737 NGX from Areosoft and till now only version 24MAR15: 1.10.6461 (SP1c) with some minor updates is avaiable on support site at Aerosoft. Is it to setup a flight where your origin and destination is the same? (If that is even possible) Or, should I just save at a point in my next flight and practice by reloading it?

I just purchased Garmin GNS-530 and plan to implement it into the B-737. Is there a possibility that it interferes with the B-737 ? Has any body done this ? Tks Hubert Werni

This flag is found in the 737NGX_Options.INI but there is no such file in the steam edition. Where would I turn on data broadcasting as well as CDU broadcasting .0 and .1? Thank you, John Anderson
