PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hia, is there a way that I can change the view in the cockpit to see the rwy ???Without switching to virtual cockpit??? Thanks on advance Geert

When I select a previously saved "in-flight" flight using the 737ngx, the flight loads paused but with a cold & dark cockpit. When I un-pause, the cockpit comes alive but the aircraft goes out of control while the count down takes place. Is this annoying behaviour preventable? Your advice please Roger Lowery

So this is weird, and hard to produce a video or photo but I get a small mouse flicker when going through parts of the VC but mainly visible from the FMC when popped out. Appears to be ok when it is not popped out though. Its like a smaller version of my mouse with a heavy flicker to it and shows up on parts of the MCP as well but not as well. It's directly 1-1.5 inches to the right of the mouse and trails it or clones it the entire way. What could it be? I tried to clean install the NGX and remove folders wherever I could but same thing. This also does not occur in the 777 when I tested, neither the QW 757 and various other aircraft, just the ngx..and all variants. …

I've just scratched the surface on my NGX 737. I ran through the introduciton manual and saw things about saving flights, saving panel states. I am about to dive into tutorial 1. I expect to spend a significant amount of time doing these tutorials over the next few weeks. With 3 young kids and a wife, though, I only have about an hour per night before bed I get to play with this toy. Therefore, I expect to only take out a few pages of the tutorial per night, and will have to save frequently. I would like to pick up right where I left off every night. On the NGX side, will this require me to save the panel state at the end of each night... and re-load the next nigh…

Hi guys I am still very new to tubeliners so I apologise in advance if this question is dumb BUT I used the PMDG Operations Centre to Download and install the PMDG 737-800 WL and the MTW according to the FMC is 174.7 tonnes I then did the same for the KLM 737-800 WL and the KLM 737-900 and the MTW according to the FMC is 79.2 tonnes Other liveries that I have downloaded also seem to have odd MTWs i.e Ryanair. Is there something odd going on or is it my lack of understanding, 79.2 tonnes does not seem correct? Regards Colin

When i have installed, the program don't ask me where install the PMDG Operation Center and, by default, it was installed to disk c:\. I have the newest PMDG (FSX/P3D) 1D updates installed. I recently used the OPS Center to download PMDG repaints because I am getting back into learning repainting with Photoshop. For the downloaded PMDG 737-700NGX WL Alaska repaint I noticed it is missing the N612AS.ini file it previously had according to the PMDG repaint tutor by Gary Hayes. So, I wonder if this repaint might have been repackaged after the PMDG 1D update and the original N612AS.ini file was left out on accident? Can anyone point me in the right direction to find which part of the PMDG manuals will teach me how to set up the approach routes for an automated landing? I followed the Tutorial 1 from Gatwick to Amsterdam, which used a Transition leg from a waypoint on the route into Schiphol. I then flew the aircraft out of Manchester to Amsterdam using the same approach into Schiphol. That worked fine. I now want to return to Manchester, and I can program the FMC out of Schiphol runway 6 via a BERG2R SID and along the airways to any of the waypoints to the north east of Manchester. I can also get to Rosun holding point via a ROSUN1G star for example. But I really cannot figure out …

In doing a short turnaround and sitting at the gate while GSX ground services are preparing the aircraft for the next flight, there is an audible alarm that has no indicator light and cannot figure out what it is for. Engines are shut down, APU is running and park brake is on, but still this sound will not shut off. Hope someone can help me fix this obnoxious problem. Just recently purchased the 737 NGX (been using the 777 for about a year now, what a huge difference between the two). I am starting at the gate with the cold start as my default loadup. When I am looking around the cockpit, I don't hear any background noise (such as a motor / engine running). Once I pan outside however, and then cycle back into the cockpit, I started getting the background noise. Is this normal? (I swear I am not going nuts)

I seem to have some issue with my brakes. If I tap the brake just a bit it slows aircraft down slowly and then to a stop. I can be full thrust and not move. As soon as hit the parking brake and then release it, then it moves again. This happens several times during my taxi. Any help would be great. As you can imagine it is quite frustrating.

I had to uninstall my FSX version of the NGX to install both FSX and FSX:SE versions. I now find that the 737-800WL and liveries are not showing in either aircraft menus for selection. They are shown in the PMDG Operations center but not in the games themselves. I have checked the file strtucture/files with my working P3Dv2 installation and they appear to be correct and none missing, in folders or aircraft.cfg entries. Got me stumped, anyone offer any suggestions. Image below shows the 737-800,900 and 900wl but no 800wl.

I'm not sure why I end up over thristing into red brick area from this airport. It is ethier something I am habitually not doing right, but I can't think what it is? Or is it a A/T realisim setting in the menu options I am not doing? Or am I triggering something with my throttle? I certainly thought my take off though. For example tonight I used Flaps 15 as it is a short runway at EGJJ I used TO2, FLAPS 15 accelleraation hight 3000f. However all that is being ingnored. I did not arm Lnav or Vnav as it was the ORTAC 2A from EGJJ. I had flew up to 2000 then heading direct to ALD. I am going round in circles! I bought the PMDG B737NGX on Nov 5, 2014 from FlightStore UK. I wish to download liveries to add to my enjoyment but when I go to the PMDG website I am told I need to log in to my eCommerce account. I actuallyget the following message: "You will need to log-in to your eCommerce account and redownload the 737 installer from your View previous orders page or from your original purchase email." As you can see, I did not buy my boxed version direct from PMDG, so cannot follow this route. Can anyone explain how I can obtain the Service Pack 1d to upgrade my B737NGX? Recently I had to reinstall Windows because I made a mistake with the Windows 10 preview. This also meant I had to reinstall both FSX and FSX:SE, including the add-ons, of which the 737 NGX Base Package is one. I had no problem installing the aircraft into FSX, but when I run the installer again to install into FSX:SE, I only get the options to repair or remove the 737 NGX. Just to be sure I downloaded the add-on again, so I do have the latest version. Last time I tried installing into FSX:SE I had no problem. I already ran all four SimConnect installers, just in case that could be an issue. Any idea what I could do?

I've tried both the vc and 2D panel. The spots where gauges should show my horizon, my location in terms of heading, and those types of things just have a black screen. This is probably an easy fix but I just bought it haha. Does anybody know how I can make this information actually be displayed?

Hello there,I wanted to ask since I never actually shutdown the NGX properly, I never felt a need, and now I am slightly struggling. Whenever I cutoff the engine start levers, the cockpit lights up and I get a Low Oil Pressure warning on the CDU. Whenever I want to start up again, it says ENG FAIL. I follow all the procedures from a flow checklist by Michael Swannick, however whenever I try to cutoff, it just gives me a Low Oil Pressure warning, and I'm lost. I'd appreciate any tips about where I might be going wrong.Thanks and regards.

Recently I have been toying with the idea of building my own cockpit for the Pmdg 737. But then thinking about the oculus, that might be a better and cheaper option for me. Just wondering if ya guys have tried it out yet? I know the consumer version ain't out yet, but I can wait. Thanks guys

I am having a rather odd problem with the NGX in P3D and Windows 10. Since moving over to the new O/S i have had issues when trying to use the 737-600NGX. About 5-15 minutes into starting a training scenario (let's stick to the license blurb) my graphics card driver nVidia (353.62) restarts and as a consequence P3D dies. Now i know what you are thinking, it's either the O/S, Driver or P3D itself. That was my thought, but everything else is entirely stable, bear in mind i run many other programs on the same PC, including games and applications, nothing else causes the driver to reset; ironically even Euro Truck Simulator 2, previously about as stable as the Middle E…

Had some trouble with this tutorial awhile back and decided to give a new go. I have flown this plane with my own flight plans using the fmc without issues. The only ones I have are with the tutorials pdf. I know that the tutorial was created using an earlier AIRAC nav data so I purposely did a complete re-install after a complete deletion opf the aircraft to make sure there wasn't any doubt of file corruption. Hello guys, have reinstalled FSX and PMDG from scratch due to W10 update. Problem: FSX crashes everytime with the faulty module: ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\GAUGES\PMDG_737NGX.DLL. I did a flight sim experience at virtual aerospace, at the begining of the year, it is meant to be a professional trainer. I just wondered what is the kit they are using? Is it flight desk soultions or something simular or is it better than that. Can this kind of thing be done with the PMDG, with FSX or P3D? Hyperthetically speaking , and this is is more of a fantasy than anything. Can a none qualifided person, IE a none pilot or instuctor build a cockpit using PMDG software in there own home or premise, and offer none training flights to the public, in a recreational context?
