    In the FCTM it mentions in the Takeoff speed section - The FCOM and FMC computed takeoff speeds (if enabled) are only valid for dispatch performance based on balanced field length, improved climb, the most forward CG limit, and dry or wet runway. This is where i'm confused, so why in the FCOM dispatch part you don't have the V speeds unlike the PI?

  2. Hi, I recently purchased FSX Steam Edition and PMDG 737NGX. I have downloaded a third party Ryanair livery which says it is for the 737NGX. The files are sitting in my downloads folder and one of them is a texture.ptp file and it has the icon shown in the PMDG operations centre. If I click on the file it opens up the PMDG ops centre. I don't know where to go from there because the ops centre manual (page 25) says I just have to click on a green "add to" button and a dialogue box will appear. I should then go to the folder where the livery file is held and add it. Problem is when I click on Livery Manager my version is not like that shown in the manual. It does not ha…

  3. I do not know if this is a PMDG 737 problem so let me apologise in advance if it isn't !!!! I am trying to setup the FMC for either a BNN1C star into Heathrow 27L or 27R OR A LAM3A into Heathrow 27L or 27R When I look at the Plan and am STEPping through the route using the LEGS page on the FMC there is always a big loop in both approaches. How do I get rid of these so that it looks correct. In the case of the LAM3 arrival it should be an S curve and in the case of BNN1c it should just be a smooth curve. By the way in both cases the aircraft actually does fly the loop !!! Any help or advice would be appreciated. Regards Colin

    looking for help on understanding a text on a STAR. I have looked through the PDF manuals and can't find it. Also posted on the navigraph forum days ago with no reply! For example look at LPPT STAR runway 03/35 from the NORTH and at the top of the STAR you have a white banner with an arrow at the end of the white banner, and it says RNAV STARs RWYs 03/35 SOUTH? What does this white banner arrow with a text in it mean? Cheers.

    Tutorial#2 - page 90 The second "sanity" check. IVLUT and the 106 radial... "IVLUT should lie along the PAM R-106." I thought we programmed to the Schiphol VOR in NAV 1's active field (page 69), and set the course for NAV 1 to 106 (page 72). Shouldn't that line read "IVLUT should lie along the SPL-106." Disclaimer - I skipped these "sanity" checks as I was sitting at the computer doing this tutorial, as it was just confusing me at the time.   6. My memory has let me down. Having had to re-install FS2Crew for the NGX I now have to uninstall and reinstall the NGX. I seem to remember that there was something necessary to be done in the Operations Centre in order to keep my liveries. Or am I imagining it? If I'm not, what is it? Can someone help, please?     Hi all, So I have recently moved over from X-Plane10 to FSX and the first plane I obviously purchased was the PMDG 737NGX, which I find amazing BTW. However, I have one issue which is annoying me, and I dont know if it is the 737 or FSX:SE. Basically, I have the Saitek X 55 HOTAS throttle quadrant and flight stick, when I launch FSX:SE and PMDG 737 I have my HOTAS throttle set to 0 (all the way back). However, if I move it to full and back again, the throttle lever in the 737 stays about a quarter engaged.   10. Hello, every time I want to load a saved file in FSX SE the program continues after the trays including noise, sit bottom of the icon, I'ts not possible for me to get FSX in my monitor? So I have to close it again, first load a B738, and I can only then loading the saved file? Is there perhaps a solution possible?

    Since I purchased fs2crew reboot I am going to start flying the 737ngx again after taking a break from the flight sim. Can anyone recommend a really thorough youtube video explaining the procedures for flying etc, so I can refresh my memory. I'm not talking about a quick this is how I do it but its not realistic type of deal. I can get the plane from point A to point B myself even from a cold and dark.     Hi! Im thinking about buying the 737NGX with the expansion but im a little worried about the fps. When flying the Majestic Q400 with FTX Norway installed i get about 18-20 fps on the ground and 20-35 in the air. How is the fps on the PMDG products compared to the Q400? I dont have the best system. GFX card is AMD Radeon R9 200 4gb and CPU AMD FX 8350. Hope someone has a opinion about this. Edit: Im running P3D.

    Hey, I have a problem with the PMDG 737NGX. When I was completing my flight controls test the yoke wouldn't move all the way to the right, left, up or down. I have tried the repair section on the installation wizard but no luck. I have also tested other aircraft and they didn't have this problem. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me. Thanks! PS-The yoke only moves about 10 degrees.

    Hi all, I tried a forum search on this in addition to looking through the manuals but could not locate an answer. For an unknown reason, I can't get NAV1 radio to operate. Whether I input a VOR station frequency or an ILS frequency - it is not responding / working. NAV 2 is fine. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on? I've looked at the Radio Stack and the Overhead Panel and all looks ok.....I'm obviously missing something. Appreciate any assistance.

    HI This problem is very annoying... When i have set up every thing for the flight and i am on my cruising altitude I speed it upp to 8X and when i put it back on normal speed the screen just blinks in black and white and i need to start the flight over again. The same thing happends when i take instant replay when it loads back it crashes same as before. But if i use 4X nothing happends then it works good but it take little to long to fly. Any one kowns about this problem? Thanks/André

  20. I have gone through the Tutorial 1 four times now, and have a few odds and ends questions that have been running through my mind, so here they are. Some are really random. Keep in mind to this point (the past 15 years) all I've ever flown was the default 737, so that is all I know about. What does CMD stand for in CMD 1 &2? I understand what they do, but I can't find what those letters stand for. Why are there two autopilots? I see you can't "autoland" without both of them, and I thought I read that if you want to do the classic ILS landing, you just run CMD-1 and I guess click it off just prior to landing to flare and finish out (like I always did in the defaul…

    Hi I have had this issue since I bought the 737ngx The problem is when I am on my cruiseing altitude And I speed it up to 16x when a turn come the plane Seems to don't hang on and takes the turn to late. And after that the plane just can't get back on course It just turn to the right and then to the left but not straight. When I put it back on normal speed the autopilot turns back On course. Any one knows about this problem? Thanks/André

    Today I uninstalled and re-installed my PMDG NGX (800/900 base package as well as 600/700 expansion package) because as things were, the weather radar buttons didn't work. That has now been fixed. And the NGX seems to load up fine otherwise, as before. But tonight I came across the following two lines in the 737NGX_debug_log.txt file (I had no reason other than curiosity to browse this file, BTW) : Can't access WAV file: 0 (Sound\PMDG/737NGX/Various/PMDG_737_StarterTruck.wav) and Can't access WAV file: 0 (Sound\PMDG/737NGX/Various/PMDG_737_AirTruck.wav) I honestly don't know if this also occurred before the un-and re-install. On the N1 limit page of the FMC, in the top left, there is SEL/OAT.I know that OAT is Outside Air Temp., but what does SEL do? And how do I know what values to put in so it functions properly?     Frequently when I fly the NGX, the autopilot wont engage. I suspect there is a setting I have missed somewhere but I can't find it. Can anyone give me a hint as to what I might have missed? I have learned that the autopilot wont engage if: 1. the IRS isnt properly aligned. 2. the aircraft isnt in the air and above the minimum height AGL (about 1500ft or so I think) 3. the flight directors arent turned on.
