PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

  1. I have a question on FMC route data entry to which I cannot find an answer. My problem scenario occurred when intending to set the STAR during flight. Instead of selecting the “Departure Airport” I selected the Departure ICAO (R1 button) instead of the Arrival ICAO (R2 button) and also selected a runway. I realised my mistake when the STARs presented were not what I expected. I have been unable to back track to select the Arrival ICAO (R2 button) – it keeps on reverting to the incorrectly selected IACO and is expecting me to EXECUTE the change. I’ve also noticed that the FMC expects the change to be EXECUTED (R6 button). Doing that clears the flight plan which is not …

    I want to create a new permanent waypoint. manual says this is only possible on ground and by entering SUPP into the nav data page. so when I enter SUPP nothing happen. anyone an idea?

  6. In the PERF INIT section of the FMC... on LSK 3R & 4R, I am trying to figure out what values to input by using a custom flight template. I have searched, and found a few different answers. I have been using "(<&TOCISADev[0]>) (<&TOCTemp[0]>)" , but I am unsure if that is the correct code to use. Anybody even input the numbers?

    HI I have had the pmdg 737NGX for quiet a while now and i have tried to download the latest Service pack via the Aerosoft update website. But when i start the installer it just comes up Repair or Remove. I have clicked on Repair but it dont seems to update it. The latest update does´t it come with pmdg operations center? Thanks!     I used the CLN1E out of Rwy22 at EGSS. I was flying on Vatsim. If you look at the waypoints they have closely spaced SID step climbs and at CLN you have a speed Rest. of 250 and this is highlighted magenta in the legs page, Vatsim cleared me to FL160 shortly after departure, my question is, i can now disregard the SID alt and climb straight to FL160 but do i still have to respect the 250 speed rest at CLN? Because i was at FL140 way before CLN and my FMC still had the 250 rest. But i asked ATC if i had any speed rest and they said no. So why did they not mention this ?     Having transitioned fully now to P3D I find my NGX has no panel lights showing in the darkness? I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Is this a bug please? Any help would be much appreciated.

  11. I noticed while watching various youtube videos, that many of the cockpit textures appear much darker grey. I am using the NGX in FSX Steam and P3D (Main) and I noticed a significant variation in color. In my sim I see much more of grey/blue than in some of the videos I have seen. Is there a cockpit texture mod that I am not aware of? Is it my monitor or graphics card. I have 4096 textures enabled so I am at a loss as to why there is a difference. I have a Nvidia GTX 770 with a Benq 27 inch monitor. I really like the look on the videos compared to what I see in my sim.

    The last 3 flights that I have made with my 737-900 I have lost control of pitch, it pitches up and out of control. This occurs at aprox 1 hour into the flight, and just at the start of the TOD. No failures are checked or scheduled. Could anyone give me a little advice, Thanks Randy

    Hello guys. I notice an error on the Navigation Transfer and Display Switches, The problem is on the Control Panel, in the real aircraft when you select Both on 1, the PFD of the FO is transfer to the PFD of the Captain. In the NGX doesn't work is only show the same information on the 2 sides and doesn't tranfser properly the settings from FO to CAP window when you back to normal option, in the real thing the preselected settings in transfer mode remain when you back to normal option. Also I want to add if there is possible to add for both of your products 777 & NGX add the option to customizing the name of any offset waypoints like a ETOPS enter points ETP…

    Will try explain the dilema i'm having with fuel savings during my approach setup. If i have 4t of fuel on board at cruise and my destination fuel on the FMC is 3.0t my GW is 60t and my LDW on my loadsheet is 57.8t and also on my loadsheet i expect to arrive with 2.5t So to find my real LDW weight i subtract FOB with expected fuel at DEST, 4 minus 3 = 1t. 60t minus 1t = 59t So my real LDW will be 59t. What will be my fuel savings? Is this right - my fuel saving will be 1.2t - 59 minus 57.8 ? Or will it be - loadsheet said i should arrive with 2.5t but FMC calculates 3t at DEST. Because of shortcuts due to ATC, TW etc. So i would save 500kg ? Will…

    Hi, I am moving to a new PC and with FSX SE installed, I've downloaded the latest versions of my NGX purchases and after installing it, the plane acts weird (full right aileron stucked). Then, I've realized the Options Menu is missing, and all my DLLs (except the HUD interface one) are not on the PMDG folder. Tried everything to reinstall again: safe mode, running in administrator mode, disabing antivirus and firewall, etc ... to no avail. Please, help! Thanks!

    I generally do not use VNAV for neither climb nor decent. I will use LVL CHNG and VS. I've noticed that on some of my airplanes, the IAS will automatically change over to what ever Mach Number it happens to be at around FL263 and some do not. Is there an option or switch in the config to control this behavior?

    What is the correct procedure when pushing back from the gate? I recall when I flew the 767 you could start number 2 engine during the push, but you had to wait until the push was finished and the brake re-applied before starting number 1, due to the amount of thrust developed by the engines I believe.. Is this procedure the same for the 737 or are we able to proceed with the number 1 engine start sequence whilst still being pushed by the tug?? Cheers Steve

    Pilots I have a problem with my pmdg. When i am rolling for take off and the VR call is gone i have to pull my ch yoke to lift. When i pull my yoke it goes always back to 'idle' when i repeatedly pull on the yoke back and forward my planes lifts en in the air the yoke is normal again. After landing, it starts all again... When on the ground the yoke in the 737 ngx goes always back to idle so i am unable to take off normal Can someone help me with this? i am using fsuipc with the ch yoke, all settings in fsx are deleted. thanx

    A simple question I came up with last night - Can you assign a VECTOR in the VIA column? Example: I flew in to Raleigh / Duram from Atlanta, the last point in the route derived from the IFR route analyzer at FlightAware was the Raleigh VOR, which is right at the airport. The approach says I would have gotten vectors to final prior to that VOR, but as of now I am flying solo, so no ATC obviously. I was setting up to swing around and approach from the NE (Atlanta is SW), so I offset that Raleigh VOR 10 miles or so SE, and then in the FMC connected it DIRECT to the first waypoint of the ILS. In the end I ended up clicking off the VNAV at that offset and flying HDG on…
