PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Was wondering how everyone has setup their 737 ngx as far as their controls. I have everything setup through fsuipc except my throttles (reverse throttle too) my spoilers and flaps setup through p3dv3 settings. I am using Saitek Pro Flight Cessna yoke and throttle quadrant. I ask this because it seems to work fine no issues as far as controlling the aircraft but recently I am getting dreaded CTD. I was wondering if this could be a conflict? Looked in event viewer and seen a ntdll.dll error and a btstrp.dll error on two separate events? Read the CTD manual from Jim Young but it does not appear to be an fsuipc/p3d conflict as far as those codes showing. Thank …

Hello everyone. I recently purchased the 737NGX base package. Flying through tutorials (mostly to have a grip on a model, I have over 500 hrs on 738 from the old PMDG), at the second one I noticed a strange annunciator panel behavior. While recalled, it shows FUEL and ANTI ICE messages. After pressing the MASTER CAUTION they turn off and don’t pop up by themselves, but it still bugs me. I scanned through cockpit, but didn’t find any specific caution light lit or anything wrong in any other way. Here are the screenshots. I am having issues where the PMDG 737 NGX will freeze FSX. I have re-installed both FSX and 737 NGX to no avail.

Hi! Today I purchased the NGX for P3D v3 and installed it. I started my P3D (first with a default airplane and after P3D has finished loading I chose the 737) and waited until the 20 seconds of preparation were over. Than I tried to bring the NGX in the Cold & Dark mode but I can't push any button on the MCDU, on the MCP or several buttons on the overhead panel. I already reinstalled the 737 and all 4 simconnect installers which are located in P3D/redist/Interface. Hey all, I have bought the PMDG 737 NGX and the offical aerosoft scenery of LLBG - Tel Aviv Ben-Gurion airport at his latest version. The problem starts when I am trying to intercept the ILS for runway 12; I am doing everything by the book but something is wrong. It happens sinsce the chart has been updated.*** I update every month the 'AIRAC' and 'Navaids package' to their latest version *** As the chart the course needs to be 118. When I'm approaching to the airport (course 118 in the mcp - by the chart and the fmc) the aircraft changing the course automaticly to 117 (the old radial) and the takes me Left the runway. What sould I do ? Thank you all !

I'm very close to deciding to go back to P3D2.5, the only thing holding me back is the PMDG 737, because I recently bought it and I've never seen it's performance in P3D2.5. My guess is that it would work fine on my system, but I want to be sure. The problem I'm running into, however, is that the 737 version I have is fit for P3D v2 and v3, but when v3 is installed, it passes v2.5 and automatically goes to v3. I uninstalled it from v3, but how do I get it installed into v2.5 without having to undo the whole P3Dv3 installation, in case I will keep v3?

Just wanted to say I can't wait until the cockpit builder version of the NGX comes out. I decided to step away from my in-progress 737 simpit for a bit and head back to he NGX. I forgot how much I just love all the little nuances PMDG built into the NGX and can't wait to see that translated over to my cockpit!

Does anyone know if PMDG like 777 is planning to implement time compression feature for NGX? I would love to see it as 737-800 is used for medium haul sectors amounting to 4-5 hours.

Good day - I engage the LOC on autopilot to first intercept the localiser and then APP after that. Strangely the last couple of days, the aircraft (autopilot) will then make a sharp left or right 'away' from the localiser. Example: I fly a heading of 030° to intercept the LOC on 090° the aircraft then start to turn LEFT in sharp bank angle and you have to disconnect the autopilot and fly manually resulting in a very unstable approach. As far as I can see everything is normal and there are no settings that could cause this. The only plugin is Pro/ATC but it is not set to handle the autopilot. I know that there is a known issue with the ATC window not popping up and you have to do a work around on the Missionpanels.cfg file. My question though; Is this also going to be an issue with other programs? I just installed the new version of FS Captain and bought and installed the new version of FS2Crew Reboot and NONE of the 2D panels can be clicked on while using the PMDG 737NGX. Bringing up the PMDG 737's own 2D cockpit panel also is completely unclickable. 2D panels and other 3rd party software seems to be working fine in other craft. Hi all, Recently I am having this problem where trying to load the PMDG 737NGX (only the 737 series has this problem for me - 777 is fine and does not have this issue), and regardless of the livery or airport that I chose, when selecting the PMDG 737NGX in the "Select Vehicle" menu on Prepar3d V3, and afterwards clicking OK in the bottom right, my simulator minimizes to the top left corner of my monitor (see image below), and therefore loads all textures and the aircraft in that little window, and it takes forever for all of those textures to expand when I expand my window to my entire monitor, if that makes sense. Looking at something and it says -1300 FT/10C above STD +700 FT/10C Below STD Am i using ISA at that altitude or ISA DEV for the above? So at FL360 its -56 ISA and the OAT is -46 would i take +700 FT for my calculation?

To make all of the buttons and mouse overs in a virtual panel to work I have to load the 737 as the first plane otherwise only get some of the buttons to work, mainly the autopilot. MCP. Why is the Go around magenta speed bug based on MAX takeoff MASS and not current? The commanded speed (magenta bug) is determined by actual flap position and based on max take-off mass. The speed window on the MCP is closed therefore the target speeds are controlled by actual flap position. Vref 40 for 74990 is 152 knots,

Hi guys, Purchased the PMDG 737NGX this week and have started the tutorial flights with P3D V3. I am using Active Sky Next with the default V3.0 aircraft and create a route and flight plan within ASN then select the flight at P3D startup. When using the 737NGX the route is created exclusively using the CDU/FMU. My question is with PMDG aircraft, will that route display within ASN or is live weather displayed as the flight progresses without a flight plan and briefing within ASN? Gary

Fresh installation of P3Dv3, installed the 737NG with the update installer no problems at all. Only little issue: the installer still put the tutorial .fxml files in Documents\Prepar3D v2 Files... Not a big deal to move them to Documents\Prepar3D v3 Files, but thought was worth mentioning here for future installers updates

I don't use the failures or maintaince failure. But in this case the hydraulic pressure should not be 3000?
