This should be a one response post but I couldn't find a simple thread on Company Routes that addressed this question. Sorry if I missed in in the tutorials... I did read them and if I missed it then you can blast me. How do you save a company route and when? Going through the FMC routine, after telling IRS where it is, I'll enter in the starting airport, the gates I must leave empty because I have never come across a gate that was in the library (everything I have as far as scenery is default). Then onto the route, origin, destination, flight no, runway - CO ROUTE blank. Then DEP/ARR to select sid if applicable. Then I type in the route. Then if I know I'll p…

Hi Friends, First I wish to thank PMDG for making such a wonderful aircraft.. I really love flying this beautiful bird. My PMDG 737NGX has however encountered a small problem related to sound. Everything is working fine except the sound. I can hear the engine sound however but I cannot hear the following sounds: -The sound of the panel buttons when clicking -The sound of conversation between the captain and the ground crew during aircraft pushback -The sound of the v-speed callouts during takeoff and the radio altitude callouts during landing and the gpws warning sound also does not come. -The sound of the air conditioners also does not come. Just downloaded this aircraft today and am already running into an issue just trying to bring the FMC Airac data up to date. I subscribe to Navigraph which I use on 3 other aircraft and Pro atc without any problems. I downloaded the latest cycle 1512, pointed the Navigraph installer to P3d/Pmdg/ Navadata, and it loads the data. Then I go into the FMC in the 737, and it doesn't see the new data, and shows me data from Airac 1108. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi AVSIM-Community, first of all thank you for this great palce to get support! Since Airac 1512, both the pmdg 737/777 shot navdata out of date, but the right one is installed and displayed. The Navigraph manager is set to the right location (automatic, i double checked that). Here is a picture. PS: Sorry for my bad english Thank you in advance Edit: Other addons got updated correct (Aivlasot Efb,pfpx etc.)

When i start engines all is ok , but when i move throttles slightly to taxi they go up to 40% N1 and stay there even when pulling throttles back. I need to hit F1 on the key board to bring them back to idle. I had it working just fine... Not sure what i did to cause this.... Thanks, Bob McDuff

Hi everyone, I noticed a while ago that when I go to turn the yaw damper on in the 737 (during a cold and dark start) sometimes it will bounce back to the off position. I do my checklist in the same order every time, and some days it works, some days it doesn't. I noticed this a long time ago, and I have always just worked around it. I was wondering if I need to turn a certain system on before turning on the yaw damper, like hydraulics maybe? Thanks, Ethan

Hello all, I've just purchased the pmdg 737 for p3dv3. Having loaded it up and prepared to take it out for a flight, I noticed an issue with the trim wheel. Having pushed back, the trim wheel moved all the way down (trim up) and, no matter how much I moved it back to the centre it would keep trimming back to the bottom. Any ideas? Kieran

Hello I am wondering if somebody can tell me why the PMDG 737 NGX Engine N2 values are available as values from the offsets 0x896 (Engine 1) and 0x092E (Engine 2) only after the engine has ignited. On other aircrafts (even other add-ons) the N2 values are available for the whole duration of the engine spoolup. The same applies to the PMDG 777. Does anybody have a hint? Thanks a lot, Sheetal

I consider to install EZDOK in my PMDSG-737 but before doing so I want to confirm the following: Suppose I go to the overhead panel with EZDOK,is it possible to activcate the switches,buttons etc ( for Packs,Fuel pumps etc ) or is it only a view of the panel ? HubertWerni

Hello everyone, I have recently had a lot of problems with my PMDG products (737-800/900 + 777-200LR). My TCAS starts indicating random planes on my display, even though there is nobody. This can go from a single aircraft, to a swarm of 10. This is specially annoying during a short final, in an already crowded airport (so when I get a warning "CAUTION TRAFFIC", I can't know if it's an actual aircraft or not). To my experience, it only happens in TA/RA and TA only Until now, I would just turn off the transponder, but this is not a solution I would like to continue using. Thank you, Martijn

I'm planning on getting TOPCAT for Christmas and had a few questions. 1) In TOPCAT's supported planes, it lists "Boeing 737-800 (BBJ2)". Sorry if the answer is obvious, but I fly the 737-800 Southwest Livery from you guys. I know the seating was tweaked to reflect SW planes (no first class). The blanket question is does TOPCAT work for all liveries downloaded through PMDG's livery manager? 2) TOPCAT is a takeoff and landing performance calculator. I realize there are many many other cheaper / free options out there to do similar calcs. I am under the impression that TOPCAT is the best and worth the money (mostly because the training manuals specifically said t…

I have searched in the forums but without success. I tried flying a tactical mission with the poseidon where I climbed to a cruise altitude, descended on the tactical area, flew around and would return. I wasn't able to get the plane to return to climb/cruise mode. Is there a procedure to reset the system so it will accept climbing again?

So I just had this very strange thing happen to me. I was doing a short flight and everything went ok on the ground before take off. After TO I wanted to arm AP and for some reason it won't let me. After a while I noticed that the displays on F/O's side didn't work (it looked like the IRS was not aligned) but displays on my side all worked fine. Now I'm not sure if the displays weren't working on the ground but I had to realign IRS twice before taking off because I accidentally flicked left IRS to off instead of setting it to align. Any ideas what went wrong? Is this IRS fault? Nick Johnson

Here is a real head scratcher. Bought the NGX for Prepar3D V3 a couple of weeks ago, all worked just fine. Yesterday tried to make a flight from Edmonton to Winnipeg, with full flight plan and FMS setup, correct fuel, and load. Take off as normal, climb out the aircraft would not increase air speed above 200KNTS. Flaps and spoilers retracted. Tried level flight no increase of airspeed. tried nose down attitude, with full power, aircraft slowed. Outside view at level flight and full power, nose down attitude, it looked like it dragging an anchor. Reinstalled and came up with the same result. Any suggestions? Thanks Bob

Hi, is there a way to uninstall the NGX from V3 and install it into V2.5 again? I want to split some addons betwen the two platforms (running on the same PC) to not completely overload V3. And my FS2Crew legacy does not work in V3... Chers Perry

Hi all. I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to tweak the engine sounds of the PMDG 737. In particular, in real life 737's, at idle when throttling down, I notice the rumble of the engine, and the full power grind when at full power. These both sound different than they do in the simulator, and I was wondering if I could try to tweak them. I have Audacity on my laptop, and I'm wondering if you can use that (and if so, how?) to modify the sounds. Or even if someone knows of a sound pack that has what I'm looking for. Looking at my RYR QRH, you have ENGINE FIRE or Engine Severe Damage or Separation. And the list of conditions. If i programme my software to have a V1 CUT which results in SEVERE DAMAGE on ENG X why doesn't the condition list have ENGINE FAILURE shown? Because with SEVERE DAMAGE on my engine display it shows ENG FAIL alert on the EGT. Wouldn't that lead you to look at the Engine Failure or Shutdown NNC instead as those conditions have - An ENG FAIL alert shows.
