I go to an airport,then I disconnect the two GPS and try to modify (change ) the IRS data using the IRS display. In the IRS display I switch from NAV to ALIGN,when the lights finish flashing I enter the new coordinates using the IRS display and press ENT. In Pos 1/4 I then notice the entered coordinates ( see attached Pic1 ) In Pos 2/4 there are still some IRS data and the question is: How can I transfer the coordinates from Pos1 to Pos2 ? Is this at all possible ? Thanks HubertWerni

I was reading a story the other day about P-3 Orions shooting HI-TACAN approaches. Naturally, I wondered if a P-8 could do it...it certainly was an energy management challenge given how slippery the -800 is. As in the description, I blew the DME arc by a little bit, and go a little slow on the turn to final as flaps were coming out.

Good day together, at first I want to introduce myself abit, because this is my first post at this forum. My name is Simon from germany, flying on IVAO. With this first post I have a short question: I have the PMDG 737-800/900 NGX. I dont like the "default" wing textures so much. In my opinion they are "too white". Does anybody know a link or something else for a more realistic wing texture download? Thanks everybody. (Sorry for my moderate english knowledge) Best regards

I'm running P3Dv3 and a large number of VC click spots don't work. It's not all click spots, but allways the same ones. The distance from the panel, and licensing issues can be eliminated, as the problem is intermittent. Has anyone yet found a definitive solution to this problem?

Hi, just purchased P3Dv3 so I thought I'd install my favourite small liner. Downloaded the new NGX installer from my account, launched it, removed version 2.5, then installed v3. When I launched P3Dv3 and tried to fly the NGX I noticed that only the autopilot part of the panel was working, everything else was not responding to mouse clicks, and even the FMC was unresponsive. Exited P3D, installed simconnect as per the readme instructions (all three versions in the right order) then got back to the sim: no joy, it's not working, same panel problem. I get the same SMOKESYSTEM error as many others, but I think it's got nothing to do with my problem, Also, notice that…

Hello, I apologize if this has been answered previously, but I could not locate a similar issue here. On p29 of Tutorial #2: Next we’ll enter the enroute portion of the route. Press LSK 6R to go to back to the RTE page 1. Press NEXT PAGE to get to RTE page 2, where we enter airways. Enter the first airway, UZ738 into the VIA column at LSK 2L. My FMC states INVALID ENTRY each time I try the step in the last bullet. Can someone please let me know what I need to do? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone had the same experience? Under flight the eng.1 stops and A/T switch off. Then starts immediately and after everything from directly to severals second/minutes it stops and starts again. I noticed that the throttle 1 makes a short, quick movement forward and this action makes the engine stop. I have tried to adjust throttles manually under A/T on, but it does not avoid the problem. Under decent with throttle in idle it continue to stop and start, but under last flight the A/T did not switch off, and I landed with one engine running, since it stopped and no restart at descend. Hello, I didn't find the response in the forum. When I put no fuel in the center tank (0 kgs or 0 lbs) the amber light low pressure do not illuminate ( pump off or on either). With the left or right tank the low pressure indication will come. Somebody could explain this ? what is the différence between the center and left/right tank. Thank you.

Hi I have this problem with routing. I had this problem a couple of times with STARs in Europe and I thought it had something to do with my inability to read charts. However, I did some studying lately and I really cannot find the anything wrong with my reasoning. So please find some screenshots attached and compare them with your info if you would. I'm especially interested in the TRUKN2 because that is the one I wanted to fly today. Not to be found in my PMDG FMC. The chart info is from Navigraph. Just some other important info. I'm unsure whether its just me or if other people have similar problems but I would be interested to hear your comments about the following: My usual practice with the 737NGX is to take off and climb to initial cleared level with autopilot off, making use of the flight director bars to monitor my progress. However, when I reach the cleared level I find I am constantly having to adjust my pitch to try and hold the altitude. I realise that the trim setting is there to control speed rather than altitude so adjusting the trim seems to have little or no effect on the pitch and therefore my ability to keep the aircraft level, whereas in an GA aircraft it is course normal pr…

Hi Just reinstalled the 737NGX into a new install of P3d v3 with a few problems (previously it loaded fine). Upon selecting the aircraft and then Ok to start the simulator window temporarily disappears, the loading information box half disappears off the top left of the screen, once it appears the aircraft immediately starts bouncing up and down like a crazy thing, and scenery loading is incredibly slow and badly flashing over maybe 30 seconds. The aircraft appears to function after this time, but the 777 and others load normally. Can anyone help with what I may have done wrong? Thanks

I have searched the forums quite a bit for this information - can anyone share the default sound levels set by PMDG within the FMC? Looking for the levels of each field.. ambient, external, etc. (e.g 50 or 60). Been flying this bird for years and tinkered with the settings quite a bit as time has gone by but I think its time to go back home so to speak with the default settings..... I would like to avoid a reinstall... any help would be greatly appeciated. Cheers!

Hi I have been flying the NGX for as long as I can remember, and I recently joined Thomson Virtual (http://www.thomsonvirtual.co.uk/). They operate Boeing 737-800s with the "high density" seating layout, 189 seats. However, the single class layout on PMDG's 737-800NGX is only 174. Is it possible to increase the maximum amount of passengers to 189? I know that passengers are just weight and that I could input my desired ZFW directly, but when I book a flight I get the number of passengers, not a ZFW. Thanks.

Page 24 Tutorial #2 Type EHAM into the scratchpad and line select it into LSK 2L. This gives us the coordinates for the airport’s center at LSK 2R. Notice the ENTER IRS POSITION message in the scratchpad. We now need to give the IRSes our current position to align on. There are several acceptable ways of doing this including using the airport’s center coordinates from this page, the airplane’s current GPS coordinates and getting the gate’s coordinates from the airport’s charts and typing them in manually. Hi Guys, I have a simple question tha tis actually a curiosity, till now like for boing instruction i disconnect the AT as soon as i disconnect the AP. Now the stupid question i have in mind is if the 737 can land ith autothrottle on and ap off like the 777 or not. The stupid question comes from the accident of turkish airline in EHAM. While the pilots were setting the plane to land for a radio altimeter error the plane started to retard the throttles. This push in my mind thhe idea that the plane thought to be close to the runway so he lowered the speed. Now my question is if the 737 NGX can land with ap off and AT on.
