PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, I cannot find a working ILS frequency for EDDF,having tried 111.15,110.3,110.55,111.75,110.95 ( suggested by Navigraph and a Google search.) When pressing VOR/LOC nothing happens.HOwever sometimes when pressing ARP the G/S appears ! Does anybody use EDDF ( autoland ) and what are the results ? HubertWErni

PMDG 737-800, FSX Steam, Windows 10. I find that during a flight, while on Autopilot, if I change views from virtual cockpit to spot view, when I return to the virtual cockpit my Auto throttle has disengaged. This was not a one time occurance, but seems to repeat whenever I change these views. If I just change views within the virtual cockpit (with EZdok) there is no effect on the autothrottle. Anyone have an idea what might be happening? Thanks, Don

I have some technical issue related to 737 NGX. It never happened in the past. Just as Windows 10 cured the issues with joystick loss I started to have random clickspots disappearings. Sometimes it helps to switch the 2D VC on and than go back to virtual cockpit but sometimes it doesn't . Any clue why this might happen?

Hey everyone, I have mastered many things in the NGX, but there's one thing that still has me scratching my head. It's on the RNAV approach. Now, before you say so I am not asking for an RNAV tutorial, but what I am doing wrong. If you get the chance, try this approach and see if you can get it right. So I'm on VATSIM, and I'm making an approach into Denver and DEN_APP tells me to expect the RNAV Z approach for rwy 16L, and so everything is going as planned. A few days ago I upgraded from AMD 6850 to an Nvidida GTX 950. And while it has improved smoothness and FPS in other payware aircraft, my 777 only gets 7-10 FPS in the cockpit. I've been recently trying to decide if I want to purchase the NGX, but was curious if any of you could help me figure out why my system doesn't seem to run the 777 well and if I can get it well optimized to run both the 777 and 737. i7 2600K @ 3.40 GHz (Sandy Bridge) 8 GB RAM (DDR3) Nvidia GEForce GTX 950 As far as the fsx.cfg, I've reset and then added the HighMemFix=1 TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=120 Bufferpools/PoolSize=0 and I've also added the Nvidia Inspector profile. When I switch the 2d panel, the view out the window is practically looking straight at the ground. How do I get that view to look permanently straight ahead, instead of down?

Great to see so many RL NGX pilots aboard this forum. I have a question for any of you concerning IAN on the 737. I have read a bit about this new IAN capability that has been recently retrofitted into NGX. The FCOM does not actually detail the setup of the procedure. I notice that our PMDG model has a GS 'on/off' option available for all approaches in the database. Is this for the IAN procedure? The FCOM illustrates what looks like a straight in visual approach being flown as an IAN with RWY threshold as the MAP and course and dme referenced from that point. Procedure seems to indicate that once on an intercept course pressing APP will then program capture of both…

Can't get vnav to work

This is a program which checks landings and keeps records of it and issues reports.I had it when I practiced hand flown landings. Since my antivirus upgraded I cannot run the program anymore as it is supposed to be unsafe and the antivirus removes it.Of course when I disconnect the antivirus,it works fine but this is too risky. Therefore I wonder if anybody uses this program and what are the results ? Secondly,is there another program which analyzes landings ? Thanks for your help HubertWerni

I recently experienced the PMDG_737ngx.dll error with a CTD when trying to load a saved flight. Fortunately, it has not repeated itself but in flying from EGPF to EDDB I did 4 saves and none of the four would load either from the free flight screen or the in-sim menu. Could I have done something to the panel that would have caused this? As I said, only these four instances but I want to avoid any future repeats. Any ideas? halwatk

Hopefully the answer is simple. I flew into Sacramento tonight, 16R. KSMF has parallel runways, 16L & R. Upon getting clearance and selecting the ILS for 16R in the FMC, everything came alive as it should and I began the approach. Unfortunately, once the runways began coming into view the ILS was putting me right down the middle of the two runways. Had I continued I would have ended up crashing into the terminal. Yay for practicing strictly non auto landings over the past 4 months. I am using the latest Navigraph database. I had my regular RyanAir EPKT-EDDL flight today and I have accidentally switched off Engine Bleeds when still on ground. I took off and approximately after 30 minutes the oxygen masks for passengers went down and I needed to perform the appropriate actions together with Emergency NGX CoPilot. I realized my mistake and I have switched on the bleeds during flight. I would like to understand what consequences would it have in real life (apart from necessity to search for new job in Lufthansa). What would happen to passengers? Would I be able to continue flight (i did that actually)

What is this? Has anyone done this mod? Just found it out recently why didn't PMDG fix this issue?

Today I noticed how the warning lights for the right and left forward overwing doors were illuminated on the overhead panel and I'm not sure why they were illuminated nor how to make them go off since I couldn't even find how to control these doors. So...I decided to take off despite this warning and interestingly enough once I got up in the air the lights went out. Anyone else seen this? This is what it looked like on the overhead panel and should also mention that I checked for any failures and none were reported.

when doing a NADP2 departure, would I input 800 agl as reduction altitude and 3000 for acceleration alt? Trying to wrap my head around this, seems easy enough but would like some clarification. Thanks!

just downloaded the PMGD 737 series, after take off I engage the alt/ heading /speed etc... then hit the auto pilot button , It will not engage .I have tried it both the 600 / 800 planes , same prob. Not sure if this belongs in the PFPX forum but anyway. I planned a flight to LSZH to Rwy 14 but mid flight the runway changed to 28 so i selected in the ARR page rwy 28 and the approach TRANS GIPOL28 my RNAV STAR NORTH was BLM2G. My fuel prediction on arrival went from 2.4t to 2.1t a penalty of -300kg. I found out during the TRANSITION approach that the database coded in used FMC SPD a much shallower descent path rather than idle thrust. This what caused me to loose 300kg of fuel. But i changed PFPX to Rwy28 after the flight to see if it compensated for a non idle path descent but only got an extra 10kg for the release fuel. So it seems PFPX doesn't take into acco…

I own a boxed edition of PMDG 737 Ngx, which I bought online from Flight 4 Fantasy (through Flipkart India Limited). To download the service update from the PMDG support download section I need to open an account. I tried to open but it is asking me for my order no. which we get from PMDG when we place the order. Hey everyone. To start, I really enjoy flying the 737. It is a beautiful aircraft, and I have been a proud owner of it for about 2 years now. However, I will usually only have an hour and a half every day for flying, which leaves me to an 1:10 minute flight at the most. I would like to try flying longer routes, like into the tropics. One problem I know there would be is the 737's "Engine Initialization", whenever you re-enter a flight. I am wondering if this would have any effect on the autopilot and my FMC. I have been flying the 737 NGX all day today and having a great time. The only thing I can't seem to get to work is reverse thrust on landing. Most of what I have read says to use the F2 key, and I do that on the Airbus and it works OK. Doesn't seem to work on the 737. I reduce throttle to idle prior to touchdown, turn off A/T, but the reverser never comes on. I noticed in my key assignments for P3D, I don't have anything assigned to the F2 key. Is there supposed to be an assignment, and if so, what?
