I have the 737 NGX (with SP-1D) and downloaded the Poseidon P-8A livery over AVSIM. Trying to install it via PMDG Livery Manager causes an Error message: "unknown Variant" to appear. How is this to be resolved? :unsure:

Since I'm a fairly recent purchaser of these aircraft, I haven't been through the prior upgrade cycles and am confused as to exactly which steps will get me the latest version. Starting today (or, at least today is the first I noticed), PMDG Operations Center informs me that an update is available and instructs me to go to the eCommerce page to retrieve it. Per the change log, the proposed update is to version 1.10.6461; assuming I have SP1d (v1.10.6436). Hi all I am now facing a weird issue when I am using PMDG 737 NGX in P3D. I am new to P3D and PMDG 737 NGX is my first add-on for P3D (FSUIPC shall be the first? ) however, when I get into the cockpit first time, all displays were in black and knobs didn't work. Could anyone tell me what cause this issue? and how should I install PMDG 737 NGX in P3D? Actually, when I installed the file, I did not get the notice to activate my product and I checked add-on section which does not have PMDG in its list only have FSUIPC. Thanks. When i start up NGX in default panel state, my throttles are at N1 55.6. I'm using FSX-SE and have calibrated my CH yoke. I have only done a few tutorial flights, and i don't think this was a problem before..Any suggestions .... Thank you, Robert McDuff

Hello Team! I had a situation happen today that I seek guidance on in regards to what may have caused it. Today I loaded up a flight plan from KDFW to KMIA that was created with PFPX. It all loaded up perfectly in the PMDG NGX, including SIDs and STARs. Departure from KDFW was flawless and flight plan was executed perfectly, until I reached the west coast of Florida over the SRQ waypoint. At this point, the flight plan automatically deactivated from the main displays and I was on my own. I have noticed that the 737 liveries for fsx tab is missing! is someone can provide me with a link to the liveries, it would be much appreciated please help!

In the new SP1d the very excellent Tutorials #1 and #2 both come with the exact same set of charts. In both cases these are the charts for Tutorial #2, EHAM (Schiphol) to LOWI (Innsbruck). Tutorial #1 might be a bit less challenging if those who need them might be able to download these charts from PMDG. Thanks in advance

Is there a possibility that the NGX will extend it's WXR capabilities with other weather engines such as Opus or REX in the near future?

I have the PMDG 737NGX installed on a dedicated FSX/SSD drive E:\. I have installed FSX Steam Edition under the Steam \.\.\.\common\FSX. on my G:\drive, I would like to install the 737NGX into Steam edition with the current update version (1.10.6436) which has the FSX Steam edition installer. When I run the installer I am prompted either to repair or remove the 737NGX installation. I would like to have the 737NGX in both of these platforms until more of my addons become FSX Steam Edition compatible, before I remove FSX all together in favor of the Steam Edition. The tutorial #2 states on page 92: Copy waypoint TESGA into scratchpad,then enter TESGA over the waypoint GMH,thus creating a shortcut. The problem I am facing is that it does not work ! Same for any other waypoint shortcuts.To the scratchpad works ok but not from the scratchpad back. I started the program using "Before take off". Did anybody encounter the same problem ? Have been flying the 737 NGX and VC panels have been sharp. Saved a flight after setting up FMC and MCP with the 737 sitting on rwy ready to T/O. I then went out of the program and came back to it; reloaded FSX and the brought up a 737 tutorial and the VC had all the little words that tell what each switch and knob is and the numbers on the FMC buttons are all blurry and almost unreadable. Everthing else in the VC is sharp (the knobs and switches, etc.) I have not changed any resolution or other settings. They are the same ones that were set before and everything was fine. I uninstalled 737 and reinstalled completely and the VC is still blurry on all the switch labels on …

I have been practicing cold & dark procedures in the NGX, include some of the supplementary procedures. I notices that NGX does not behave correctly when the Standby Power Test is performed. The check begins with the Battery switch ON and the AC-DC meter selectors set to STBY PWR. The DC volts reads 26 volts. If the APU generator or the ground power is on, then the APU GEN No 1 and No 2 switches are set to OFF and the GRD PWR is set to off, placing the aircraft on battery power only. When the aircraft is on battery power only, the voltage increases to 28 volts. The STANDBY POWER switch is then placed to OFF, the AC and DC volts should read 0, which th…
