Hi all, would like to saver if PMDG staff have problems to answer Tickets and addressing the concerns of users since more than one week ago have not been answered more to help me in my problem with download of SP1d that I can't do it, I have written them several times and nothing to answer, the last response I had from them was last week asking me my number of the purchase order from my 737 and since then I do not answer.

Is there no key command for switching the APU on/off in the 737 or am I just to stupid to find it? I want to use a switch for that in a goflight modul but I don´t know how to select that without keycommand. I found it in my T7.

Hello All, My shiny new 737 has had its first [Tutorial 1] flight. All went surprisingly well - but thank goodness for the 'pause key' ! Tutorial 1 has an EHAM arrival on 18R via REDFA with SUGOL transition - all input into the FMC before EGKK take-off. No problems there but of course we rarely know for certain the arrival RWY before we get off the ground. So my question is : If I am told in flight by EHAM ATC that the RWY will be [say] 36C and not 18R, exactly what steps must I take to re-program the FMC to change my routing ? I have looked at the huge amount of documentation that comes with the 737 but so far I havnt found the answer to what must be a common issu…

Hi I've just gone to the downloads tab and saw that there was a SP1d for installing on to FSX Steam but all I can see when I log on is what looks like the original download link with no mention of SP1d, is this what I should use to install? If not where can I find it as everywhere I go brings me back to the same place. Regards Dennis

Hello, i updated the PMDG to SP1D and all of my routes i My T/D is to late into my arrival. Now i dont know if it has something to do with the Betas for ASN or if its the PMDG its self. I have updated Airacs and also have Jeppessen charts and i always have to calculate where i have to begin my descent. Now before anyone asks me if i entered in the route right the answer is yes. heres the route i recently flew: IND-DEN route:ROCKY8 SPI IRK HSI KOHOE3 now it had my T/D at KOHEO then my next alt is 17000 according to the Jeppesen charts, I knew that wasn't right so i calculated where my T/D should be. and i came in nicely. is there a fix?

Using ver 1D now (737NGX FSX). Had a hold in the arrival. PMDG turned right instead of left to (per ND display/FMS)?

Hello All... I am running the NGX 800/900 on P3D 2.5. With my move to P3D, my Aerosoft NavDataPro subscription had expired and I licensed Navigraph FMS Data Manager. I have upgraded the AIRAC cycle to 1503 but still have a NAV DATA OUT OF DATE message on the FMC IDENT page. The cycle_info file in the NAVDATA folder shows the current AIRAC cycle data. I'm not sure if this is a Navigraph problem or something else. Any ideas? Thanks in advance... ...Robert

Hello, today i had a problem with the FMC from the 737NG. I have set up the pos-init, perf init, route, n1, take-off,... pages like allways but when i tried to update the wind-data in the Legs-Data-Page the FMC freezes first for some seconds but with each entry longer and after the fifth entry it freezes complete. I have atatched a screenshot wich shows both fmc´s. I have the current update sp1d installed (new install) and i use Virtual CDU (current version) Also, most of the switches doesn´t work anymore (for example: both FD, MFD Selectors ENG and SYS, Baro Wheel and STD, Mainpanel DU-Selectors, and much more) But some does work, like AT/ARM, range-s…

After installed SP1D there is fuel warning light into the annunciator messages glareshields. Have any suggestion about it? Regards Rob

Hello All, I know this subject has had numerous previous posts however I cant seem to find any single post that answers my questions ! I am new to the 737-800 NGX and am 'exploring' its various equipment etc. So far I have been unable to get the Airstairs to work - and yes they are listed as fitted in the CDU. So can anyone advise please how I deploy the stairs, how I retract the stairs, whether there are any conditions that must be satisfied before they will operate eg must be at a gate, chocked, external power, APU or Battery etc etc. Thanks, Mike Ody

I am starting on tutorial 2 and I have some questions. Starting cold and dark takes a lot of time to get all of the switches set and flipped and sometimes I have something happen after taking off and have to start all over again. My question is there any way to save this part of the tutorial so I can just go back somewhere and load the tutorial and fly again from this save instead of starting over with the cold and dark procedures again? Yesterday I took off finally and turned on AP and for some reason the speed control did not work and the flight shut down from overstressing the aircraft. Hello avsim community, My friend recently got the pmdg 737 base package for FSX:SE. When we were installing it, I noticed that it didnt put the 737 with the winglets in but had the one without winglets. I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling it but it didnt work. Hey guys. I have noticed that recently, some of the sounds of the NGX are no longer being played in FSX. Among these, the elevator trim wheel is not making any sound anymore when being moved, it is completely silent, same goes for the air conditioning packs and the recirculation fan, they are completely silent so the only sound I hear in flight is engines. I didn't do any changes to FSX recently that could have caused this issue. For a period of time (about 2-3 weeks or so), I have been absent and haven't been using the simulator, and as I recall everything was fine last time I used the simulator. Before i raise a ticket.... Has anyone noticed a graphical anomaly with the Navigation Display in the P3D version of the NGX, when choosing the old style side-by-side displays? The issue is that the truncated compass rose (at the top of the half of the ND dedicated to the moving map) appears behind the VSI and other primary display gauges that display in the left half of the ND, but only when the weather radar or terrain radar are turned on. When turning, the parts of the rose showing behind the instruments then starts to scramble and the left side of the ND becomes a garbled mess of white. Will try and get a screenie when back at my PC. I came across this from a pilot... I think it right to say most airlines now do as follows: In the climb, when cleared to a flight level, set standard immediately, whatever the transition altitude. Standby altimeter remains on QNH until passing Climb MSA. In descent, whenever cleared to an altitude, set QNH immediately, whatever transition level. Standby altimeter set to QNH before descent commences. The problem with lower transition altitudes and a low cleared flight level is if you have a low pressure area and wait for transition to change to standard, you may instantly exceed your cleared flight level. Hello I recently purchased the 737NGX for P3D and am about to start off with this great aircraft.Before I do I have a question of the configuration of the flight controls. With my set up i use the full version of FSUIPC to handle all my controls and I set the default controls in the sim to ignore. As this is a complex aircraft is it ok for me to do the same? I seem to remember reading somewhere ( can't remember where) that this can cause problems with the aircraft. Any help/ advice would really be appreciated Many thanks Darran

Guys, can you please advice the person with very limited amount of available free time: why is Flight Director on the ND showing up only with the use of TOGA function via that imaginary click spot? Otherwise it will show up when you activate/engage the autopilot, so the climb-out happens with no FD reference. Something specific to NGX only, I'd like to know if possible to have a FD with manual power setting as with other aircraft.

Hi Guys, Quick Q: with the 777 you can have sound remains on task switch as with p3d so when program loses focus you still have all the sounds etc. The 737 doesn't seem to have this so when the program isn't in focus I only have engine noises etc not cockpit noises? Thanks Jonathon Ryana

I've always sort of had this issue but it's driving me nuts tonight as I try to fix the annunciator issue by loading and saving panel states. Whenever I shut things down in the NGX to cold and dark and everything goes silent except it still sounds like something is humming so I switch views. When it gets outside it is silent, then when I get back to the cockpit there's all kinds of sounds that don't stop even though EVERYTHING is off. It's driving me insane I can't get sounds to stop and when I load my saved cold and dark panel state I'm still getting them. Why are sounds stopping, and then just starting randomly when I change views?

Good Evening PMDG Team & Community: Forgive me if I overlooked the answer for my questions below. The literature is quite thorough and lengthy, and I happen to LOVE it but can't seem to find info on this... so here goes. 1) Does the 737NGX for Prepar3d support 5.1 sound? I noticed in the ops center, the 737 doesn't have a 'Sound Settings' option as is the case with the 777 (again Prepar3d). That being said, within the cockpit on the FMC, I noticed the (PMDG Options > Sound menu) offers a 2-speaker option and my default sound card option (which is 5.1). Just a quick question about the FMC in the 737 NGX- Does it require an Airac update? Or does everything come RTF?

Sorry if I am making a lot of threads in the past days, but I have a big problem as of right now- I am not able to purchase the NGX. When I enter my credit card info, and press order, nothing happens. Their is no pop up, no error message, nothing. I did this multiple times, waited for a long time, but nothing happens. I tripled checked the info I put in, and the credit card is valid. Even when I try to contact the developers, nothing happens. I have no clue what is the problem. I desperately want the NGX, especially by today. Any help is greatly appreciated. -Chris Fernandez
