PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I noticed in the change log this appears to have been corrected. 0003583: [Main Panel - EFIS Controls] RADIO/BARO behavior on EFIS Control Panel incorrect (mfrantzeskakis) - resolved. But i can still spin them 360 degrees around in the B738 or is this referring to something else? Not a big deal for me either way but i just in case another update is coming.

This isn't a big deal at all really, just wanted to know what this error means (LN:45 at CF220). at airport aywk. the error is when I enter the aywk in the route section at the bottom of the fmc The reason I found this is because I just wanted to test the ngx download for the wxr function, so I just searched asn weather for rain etc and aywk was at the top so I just picked this airport to see if the wxr worked which it did, but found this error? Thought it was just the ngx but tried the t777 and got the same result

Good Day I just purchased the 737 for P3D. And within a few minutes of using the aircraft it freezes. Additionally, in the time that I am able to use it, using the CDU is VERY slow. Clicking on anything takes about 3-7 seconds to react. Any ideas? I loved this aircraft for FSX and want to really be able to use it for P3d. Much appreciate your help.

Has anyone managed to make Virtual Avionics CDU (PMDG 737 NGX) work on FSX Steam edition? Can't get it to work with the latest VAInterface. Dropped them a ticket.

I brought this up in the release notice thread but no one said a word. Myself (FSX) and friend (FSX) and another friend (P3D) are all seeing the same thing. On the 737-700 winglet model, part of the tail strobe effect is appearing several feet behind the aircraft, floating and flashing in space. All I'm looking for is confirmation one way or the other that this is a real bug or just a problem with our three installs. I did put in a ticket but the response was to do a full uninstall/reinstall using the same process Kyle posted about which is already what I, and two others have done. Haven't flown the NGX in a while. Just loaded it up but I have no HGS display. Just blank. I went to the FMS and it says the HGS is installed. The HGS goes up and down - just no info on it. Been going through the manuals but so far have come up blank. Any ideas? Jim

hi all, If I download liveries into the pmdg 737 via the ops centre, they show in there but then not in p3d when I come to select the aircraft? any ideas would be appreciated, thanks Ollie chamberlain

Hello , After install the new ngx into Prepar3D and a few tests it all works fine , incl the hud on the house livery pmdg 737-800 WL, Today I install via livery manager the Ryanair 737-800 WL and after install ( all ok ) no hud visible ! Anybody seen this ?? Can this be a bug or have I do something wrong ? Alain Belgium ( Europe )

hello i obiously just bought the p3d version of the 737. However, now that I got everything installed right, I wanted it to launch as a "SHORT" stage, so i can use it with GSX. But, the stage looks different. The MFD is almost blank, just like the navigation window.. Am I missing something here? vkr victor

Followed instructions for downloading the NGX update and there is no update in my downloads page. Its the same ngx from before. Thx for any help. Rob

Hi, the 737NGX is still one of my favorite addon aircrafts and I've done quite a lot of flights. Today was the first time that I experienced a problem that I was not able to solve. I started the engines and the aircraft was ready to taxi but after routinely pressing the annunciator plate I noticed that there are still three error messages - FUEL, ANTI ICE and AIR COND. Honestly, I still have no idea what triggered these messages. Maybe one of you can help me? Here is a picture of the messages... ...and one of the overhead panel: Aircraft was the 737-700WL (SP1d) and no failures were activated. Thanks in advance :smile:

Hey! Did anyone notice that with the new installation of NGX v1.10.6436 the "PerformanceManager NGX" has dissapeared? Where did it go??? I wan't my HI-RES on VC back!!!

So I read all about the Collins WX Radar in the FCOM but where do I find out how to use it on the line?

Apologies if this has been asked already and I've missed it (I have had a trawl through the last couple of days of topics...). I bought my NGX on DVD from Flightstore a while ago. I have not used the PMDG-737 for a long time and if I remember well,once the autopilot is engaged ( VNav and LNav activated ) it should not be possible to change altitude by pulling/pushing the yoke or make a lateral movement using the rudder. Is this correct ? Just to confirm. Thank you Hubert Werni

Hi guys, after install the NGX sp1d, i've notated that the characters of lower du isn't at center of the screen but a little moved to the left to cpt side. I use FSX normal It happens to you??

I am new too the wx radar. I understand function of gain and tilt wheel, auto mode weather or weather and turbelence. What is the GC button do What does the TFR button do and what the MAP but on do ? I'm not sure if I'm miss in out on anything. Thanks for any help

Hi all: I have some disturbing flickering on the mouse cursor when pointings knobs, buttons, FMC, etc., in the VC. It happens concurrently when I set the display of real-time remaining VAS monitoring via the FSUIPC. This has never happened with the PMDG-B777, for which I use the same VAS display. Reinstalled video drivers with clean install and problem persists. Since I don't want to loose the ability to know instant VAS information, does anybody has any suggestion to avoid the flickering?. I use EZdok to set up various views on the NGX, one of which is the Capt's FMC CDU. After updating to the latest version today, the Speed Brake lever is now completely covering the FMC CDU keys E and J so I can no longer have a straight on view but need to move the EZdok camera significantly to the left. Has this lever moved with the latest update ?

I just installed my NGX into FSX SE and it's great, now the other people/strangers in my home who call themselves family want an NGX also? OMG What do I do? :o The wife's credit card is ready, do I shop or do I request more activations?

My new 737NGX for P3D seems to have installed properly. However, when I choose one of the 737 aircraft in the "vehicle" menu and click okay, a second abbreviated screen opens in the top left corner of the monitor and the P3D screen shows black and freezes. Sometime I can get it to start (showing two P3D icons on the bottom tray) and most times not. When I do get it to start, the display is all messed up. Thoughts?

Hello. I just bought the NGX for prepar3d but then I noticed this remark on the PMDG page: "This product uses a full virtual cockpit and does not include 2D panels." So, this to me sounds that this product is not targeted to cockpit builders, which obviously heavily depend on the usage of 2d panels. I also, unlike the FSX version, I don't see any mentioning of any SDK availibility. This is also a showstopper by itself. Is this really true? In that case I've just spent $69.99 on something I can't use. Tyler Johnson
