Hi , I always use PFPX calculating the derates but what is it that RWY REMAIN is for ? I can put in a value for instance 008 (00800 feet) but does it change anything ? (offcause it does :-)) Thanks Michael

During Flap Retraction for landing, you get the minimum flap speed in green and below it somewhere you get the amber hockey bar - (minimum maneuvering speed) Now it says in the FCTM - (flap maneuvering speed) These speeds guarantee full maneuver capability or at least 40° of bank (25° of bank and 15° overshoot) to stick shaker. My confusion is can the 737 safely go below the minimum flap speed the green 1, 5, 10-15, without dropping to the next flap setting and drop to the orange hockey bar? Minimum maneuvering speed?

Hello I have heard that there will be recently a new service pack brought out which will update the NGX with some of the systems that is currently seen on the T7 I was wondering if it would be possible, even if not in this service pack, but at some stage in time to add the following. Although the current NGX does have the option for 27K rated engines as the "TO-B" option. This isn't simulated realistically. When NG's have 27K rated engines, the ability to de-rate thrust to 22K is extinguished. 27K actually becomes the new "TO" in the real airliner, instead of "TO-B" in the NGX, with "TO-1" being 26K instead of 24K and "TO-2" becomes 24K instead of 22K. …

Is any one here using this tool for our 737? i have them coming in with team view and setting it all up cause i don't know how and tired of playing with it . If you do , what's some of the switches and knobs that would be useful cause i don't really know what to program.As you can see i have a lot of modules and i have lots of switches and knobs not assigned to any thing .I have 5 rotory knobs and about 4 push button switches that i can assign to some thing ---what i don't know.

Needing some experience on this NGX pilots! On the DES page you have the TAI entry for FL or altitudes you require to have it on. How can you do this in FSX as we don't have ACARS or company uploads for cloud levels etc? I use ASN but this doesn't show clouds when TAT is <10+ or visible moisture! Other query is the SPD REST entry in the DES page of the FMC, it defaults to 240/10000. For certain airports i fly too it requires these speed and alt rest... So today I had a notification in the Operations Center to update my Operations Center. After it completed When I clicked on the 737NGX - FSX:SE in the Product Description it said that if you purchased the 737NGX after Feb 1st the product is already updated for FSXSE. It went on to say that if you purchased the 737NGX prior to Feb 1st to log into your PMDG account and re-download the product etc.... Did that and found its not the case! No option to install in SE. Need help with running software in Fsx, I did all required to install software but doesn't work. I Installed again several times and apparently installation goes successfully but when I choose the 737 pmdg. Fsx crash and not able to recover until killed with task manager. After my first 2 attempts ended up in failure I am happy to say the third time is the charm. I think the reason this did not work for me first 2 times was because I still had some of my AXIS in FSX and they were conflicting with FSUIPC. Here is how I configured mine. Look at the images first and then I will explain what I did below each image. Also note this was done for the X52 Pro Throttle but should work with any Throttle that has an Ident.Go to the Axis Assignment Tab and Use the Rescan button so FSUIPC knows what Axis your configuring and move the throttle back and forth. Sorry if this belongs in another forum...but I am looking to buy a new computer and am wanting to get the PMDG NGX. Without spending a grand on a new PC, what do you really need to operate it successfully? I have seen the requirements on the PMDG site but are they good enough if wanting to run maybe some airport scenery add-ons and some light traffic and maybe Ground Services? Thanks, Nic Baalman

I just now discovered that PMDG had an announcement, saw a froogle YT. The NGX will get weather which sounds cool. Do you think this will be a paid upgrade, a whole purchase, or a free upgrade? I only ask because I am very new to PMDG, only like two months new. Thanks.

I've been flying the NGX for a long time with no issue. I just did a reformat and reinstall. Everything seems fine. Aircraft starts and behaves normally until it gets airborne. It seems like it has no power even though N1 is at 90%. What am I forgetting? Ted Belden

Anyone know what alarm is randomly going off midflight? I dont see any amber or red warning lights anywhere, and suddenly I just get the overthrottle alarm as if i was on the ground and put N1 at 100% with flaps up. If I press Y and enter slew mode and then press Y again and exit slew mode the alarm goes off. anyone know?

This is probably down to user error and not understanding VNAV limitations but i can't find why this message came up and also VNAV Disconnected. I have provided below a snap shot. I passed waypoint PT405 and started my CDO in VNAV PTH i was at FL100 or just below, my MCP ALT was set at 3000ft my next waypoint was ODLIX and then i got that CHECK ALT TGT. Hi guys, I've been flying the PMDG 737NGX for quite some time now without any problems. Yesterday, I flew the NGX from LAX to PHX without any problems. I walked away from the computer for a bit. When I came back, I noticed FSX had frozen when loading the scenery (about 43%). Now, whenever I select the PMDG 737NGX (any livery), FSX crashes. I have selected the stock Microsoft B737 and it loads correctly. But as soon as I switch to the PMDG, it crashes. Any suggestions?

Having purchased this aircraft from PMDG Simulations, LLC on 12/13/2014 (and I have all the order code, customer ID, order copy, transaction ID, authorization code, SKU description, delivery address - all in my name) my HD was formatted and I lost the downloaded product. Hey there everyone, First time posting on the thread, but I have been stuck for 6 hours on this and have not been able to find any help on any of the forums. So here's the issue. I purchased the NGX 2 years ago and just reinstalled it on my new laptop. I activated using my code and loaded into free flight with no issues. Everything worked perfectly. When I went to join into my online server that I flew the NGX on my old laptop it will load in the lobby and allow me to begin loading into the game. Hello, yesterday i performed a total format on my pc. Today I installed all the simulator and pmdg 737ngx but when i start a flight no gauges are diplayed. I read somewhere that is an anti-piracy system protection, but i bought the product. During the installation no serial keys are requested. Could you help me, please?

This shouldn't really bother people but it does bother me. I cant seem to hear the TOCW beeping sound, and I don't know if I've done something right or something is wrong. Even if I know its not configured for takeoff, I still won't get the beeping. Any ideas?

This just appeared out of no where had no issues before till now. The issue is when I start my engines and got everything set to go and when I push the throttles, the throttles move and the ni displays don't rise and of course the aircraft doenst move. I get the overhead warning appearing on the right hand cautions and the only thing I cant find about the overhead warning is the pseu in the fcom which found didn't solve my issue since the pseu light wasn't lit it was extinguished when I checked. This is the strange part if I load my Cessna first to the airport than load the ngx I have no issue, so this is a extra step which at least solves…

Hi Everyone I have asked this before and had no success getting a solution but the horizon line on my hud is several degrees above the actual horizon. It really bugs me and I don't use the HUD and its features because of it which seems crazy. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tim Carter

In the real 737-800, when the plane takes of, there's a noticeable rumbling sound at the back of the plane. Can you add a sound like that to the PMDG 737-800 NGX?
