Is it only me or do you also think that the lights on the aircrafts are not bright enough? You should see any aircaft some miles away due to their strobes and beacons. That remindes of something: there is no aircraft with a beacon? Do the aircrafts have no beacon in real? I thoght the Maule had!?

I love to hedge hop with the RV under 500 feet, pull high G turns at 200 feet, could never do that before. So I spotted this little bridge over a stream and desided to land on the road leading to it. I was able to taxi up and stop on top of the bridge but when I got out I found myself under the span looking at the shadow of the aircraft over my head. So I climed the hill but could not walk on the bridge to the RV. Back down the hill and stand by the shadow and I could enter the aircraft again. start the engine, taxi off the bridge and take off ok, great fun with FLIGHT.

For those that don't know me, I'm one of those that thought I could see Flight as a potential FS next and was/is very happy with the new format and performance. I'm also one of those that doesn't care much for the gamy side of it and therefore don't use it as such and thought that the majority of us were like minded but there seems to be a lot of excitement about these aerocache things lately and I really am left wondering whether I'm on my own or whether I'm missing something. So what am I missing?

As much as I enjoy VC cockpits, I often like to turn them off when sightseeing. Anyway to do that in Flight? I think it is the "w" key in FSX

Ok for a while now, every time I launch the Flight program and get to the main menu, in the lower right a message pops up "Tormentor - 1 of 10", or something like that, and there is a small circular looking object off to the right of it. Some kind of award maybe? And it stay there in the main menu, as a constant reminder. So what exactly is this? I flew a job several days ago, where I was taking some passengers to another island, and got caught up in a severe wind situation in bad weather at night, and they puked their guts out. Is this how I got this? And there are nine more like this that can be given out? Just curious about this tormentor thing that stays disp…

Has anyone noticed one of the loading screen tips mentions the need to use "seaplanes or helicopters" to get some aerocaches? Maybe helicopters are in the pipeline...

Well, I went back to FS9 after struggling with graphics issues with Flight for about a month (my GPU did not meet the minimum specs). In comparison FS9 was rock solid and, in a way, it was really nice to have that huge stable of aircraft again (not into jets) but nice Carenado, Aerosoft and Eaglesoft GA aeroplanes plus some excellent freeware to choose from. Also to be able to fly in the Alps and New Zealand, once again with the aid of a lot of excellent freeware sceneries. Just really nice to get away from Hawiaii for a while. And then I found a freeware fix for my graphics issues and can now play Flight without all the stutters and flutters. Now Flight does look goo…

I remember reading at one point that it was possible to see a list of everyone I'd flown with in flight. How do I do that again? I had a good session the other day, and the guy sent me a friend request, but at the time I couldn't figure out how to bring it up.

Hi,I have a core i7 970 and GTX580 powering a relatively small 1366 x 768 monitor. I am having a terrible (as in show-stopping) stuttering issue with Flight and I believe this is due to some odd way in which Microsoft handle the rendering, but it is made all the more obvious due to me owing a powerful graphics card relative to the size of my monitor.I should add that I also had this exact same problem with FSX,except that with FSX I can completely resolve it by employing the internal frame rate limiter to match that of my monitor refresh rate.Specifically my problem is significant stuttering occuring all the time, with one clear exception that I will explain later. And th…

One thing that has always bothered me about Flight is that flying always starts in the air. I was fiddling around this morning and found a way to start from a specific runway at an airport. If this has already been mentioned (I didn't see it), then please disregard. Click on an airport which opens the airport info popup. Choose the runway you wish to use, and double click on it. You will then see your aircraft sitting on the runway you chose. Takeoff and fly.

Some interesting info from another post: Larry Hryb's list for most played GFWL titles: 1. GTA IV, no surprise 2. Age of Empires, no surprise 3. Flight, still kicking after 4 weeks on the Web and places above... 4. Batman: Arkham City These are based on numbers of unique players using the game. At this point pronouncements that flight is dying a horrible death due to (place talking point here) still seem quite premature, which should be great news. Anecdotal evidence of this is that I am now seeing more and more planes creeping onto the other islands, meaning that not only are the warbirds selling, but that people are being drawn in to buy the…

I just noticed that not only do you get shadows in the VC, you also get sunlight on the windows. I've seen the effect before (of course) but it wasn't until know that I really nocited and figured out what it was. I am doing a dawn flight right now and I noticed when I looked at the shadow falling on the upper part of my left window (sun at the right) that the lower part of the window was a lot lighter, as if the scenery outside is lighter, but it isn't the scenery, it is the sunlight shining on your window that makes the window er... lighter. Darned, I wish I knew how to say this in proper English. Let's put it in other words: you do not only get shadows, you also get lig…

Greetings to all, I have seen several posts that refer to a "Maximum" graphics setting. I only have Low, Medium, and High. Does flight offer a "Maximum" setting based on graphic card specs? I have an ATI HD 4650 with 1 GB of RAM. Thanks, Les

When I press key E to exit the aircraft and then save my flight then on loading the saved flight I find that I am standing at the correct location but the aircraft is nowhere in site! Is this normal or is it a bug?

Some good info in here: http://jobs.awn.com/...500&jb=10007290 And I quote "The team responsible for creating the best civilian flying game franchise ever created (Microsoft Flight Simulator) are nurturing their newly released Flight title and trying to grow it into a huge array of scenery, mission and aircraft add-ons. They need someone to direct, organize and scale-up the art department. Are you that person?" Had trouble getting this post to load, if it's in twice, can the moderators please kill the first one?
