I just uploaded a new version of the tools. You can grab them here: FlightToolkit 0.9.0 There are a lot of significant changes, so I expect some things will not work. Please email [email protected] if you find bugs. There are some major changes with this release, some of them breaking changes. For addon creators any source files that you created previously will not work in the new version. If you try to open an old version of the .addonSetting file, it will most likely crash the Addon Builder, or not export correctly. I might have missed something, but when tuning radios in Flight it seems to take forever. I fly with my mouse pad on my laptop and when I go to change the radios my plane will pitch all over as I am changing the frequency. In addition, the hand to "grab" the knob will take forever to activate. My question is this... is there a way to change radio frequencies using the keyboard? This includes Nav and Com frequencies and selecting the primary source. I apologize if this has been asked/answered already. Thanks in advance. Razorhog703

Microsoft released a new "Flight Simulator". It`s an arcade game, but it looks a bit like a downsized MSFlight. I've been looking into the GFWL shutdown a bit more lately and have started using a GFWL Offline Profile for a few other games, which theoretically may allow me to save and continue playing offline after the final complete shutdown (when the GFWL login server no longer responds). However, my many hours of Flight saved game progress (challenges, unlocked paints, aerocaches) is tied to my main GFWL Online profile. For other games, I have read the the saved progress is tied to the online profile, so if you simply copy the saved game/progress files into a new profile folder it won't work. First ever attempt at a video and it was very spur of the moment, trying to see if I could capture the smoothness of FLIGHT on video. I was mostly successful, but YouTube did introduce some tiny stutters and semi-judders that were not there in the original video. I'll keep playing around! I suggest watching in at least 720p

I'm looking to upgrade the programs I used to build the toolkit. One of the side effects may be that programs compiled with the new programs will not run in Windows XP. Is anyone still using it that also uses the tools? I'm hoping there are not too many people left on Windows XP by now. Stone

I bought Flight and all of the DLCs (except the Deluxe Cub) a while ago, but since Games for Windows LIVE is no more and for some reason I decided it was a good idea to uninstall Flight, I can't acess it. I can download the base game from Steam, but I can't acess my DLC. Is there any way I can get them?

I needed to do something different, not a job, but something relaxing. Sightseeing tour! The Stearman in my colors on the ramp> To think that there are examples of this airplane still flying after so many years. I have always loved classics! B) While taxiing to the runway, I noticed once again how much better the scenery has gotten - the line of trees in the background looks great. Just the sight of that radial is impressive. I've not played flight for about a year and have just found out that all the download content is not available anymore. That's not a problem at the moment because I still have Flight installed with all the addons I purchased but what happens when I need to reformat/build a new PC? Is there any way of saving the current content for manual install at a later date? I don't want to get caught out the same way I was when PSS folded.
