I've been meaning to reinstall Flight to my new system for the last year, the possibility of it all going away spurred me on to actually do it. Painless so far, GFWL - no problems connecting (a lot better than the first time), Big Island, Islands and RV6, Maule. Just Cub and Alaska to go. I seem to have a lot of Microsoft points that I'd forgotten about, can't be right that these are worthless... Flight runs fine and looks better than ever, mostly maxed-out. I note that it only really uses my first CPU core and the other three loaf along. FSX puts a heavier load on all of them ... could be just because Flight is simpler (no AI, no ATC etc) or is there any config I can…

A long month and a streak of bad luck. My video card burned up, then a week later so did the motherboard! Or it was the CPU, still have no idea. So, I bought new everything and waited for the parts. In the meantime, I tried to use my Nook (1st Gen) to access the Internet but it does not work so great. And anyway I dropped it and damaged the screen! Talk about bad luck. So, I had to buy a new book reader also and am waiting for it. Got all the computer parts, put it together, and... Win 7 won't work. I don't blame Ballmer and anyway that is beating a dead horse. If any one is interested. This was submitted to MS Flight but was never released before the Aerocache cut off, give it a shot. Of course there will be no aercache marker, you are on your own. It is a long flight over water from the intened starting airport, but you can always start anywhere you want. I have 3 more I can put out. Steve

Due to the fact the MS is not accepting nor publishing any new aerocaches and all in the future will be repeats, I will no longer be posting them here since they have all been posted since at least last August. Flight users can go to the Microsoft Flight website to get them. It says on the site that the 48 hour span will be in effect for a bit and then go to a 24 hour cycle. If you're interested in getting the ones you might have missed, you might want to keep checking the Flight news for which ones are active. I have stayed away from the fighters, basic cub and c46 because of no cockpit. I just reviewed all 100+ pages of the fourm (OMG I need a life) and I come across the CTRL+Q / CTRL+E trick to get into the cockpit. If one changes views I have to re position again but that isn't too bad and I can use the hat switch to look around. I flew around for an hour like this last night and was quite pleased with it and this Sunday I will be using a warbird with the FSFlights group flight so I can keep up with you guys for once. My question is, is there a way I can use my track ir in that cockpit position? When I enable the TIR it places me in front of the nose. Any help here wou…

I have just started doing these 3 days ago. Was doing something else I wanted to get done first then start doing the AOTD but since the world is ending I thought I should get on this. The first one I found with no issues. The last two I could not find. On the last two hunts I did find on each of these hunts a default aerocashe and retrieved it enroute to find the AOTD. Could I have screwed it up getting the default aerocashe, is the feature still running with the old AOTD as I thought they were going to, or am I just failing. Thanks. Moe

Found this News. Maybe it`s a bit fuel for the fire of hope for MSFlight or MSFS series in general? Looks like MS had found out again that they are behind... and now seeing the future of gaming (money-making) ?

With all the hubbub about the end of aerocaches and a busy schedule, I almost missed posting this one. This was released yesterday, and is still available. It's a new one also. Enjoy, as none of us know how many of these there will be.
