I just made a picture perfect no power belly landing with the P-40 in a meadow on the island of NIIhou. Sure hope someone comes looking for me soon or I will be paddling to the mainland in my little inflatable raft. I have tried this many times before and it has always resulted in a crash and game reset. Steve

I have a few questions regarding weather. When I use P3D with REX I use real world weather not just because it is accurate to what the weather is like there but more so that the weather is beyond my control or random to me. I like not deciding the weather and seeing what ever the sim throws at me. I use Flight quite a bit as well and was wondering if there is random weather in the sim, I see some weather with titles that sound like they would be random but what ones truly are. If so which one(s) and how much do they very. Thanks Folks Moe

I know when Flight was first released, we talked about some churches that were modeled. I found this possible church while following Highway 3 from Wasilla to Willow. This is right north of Nancy Lake. Just wondered if this was based on an actual building since it is in a random spot. Still love coming across random things in this game.

So today I was just thinking of FSX and how it isn't the best in a lot of ways. From what I've heard, Flight is quite similar, but I do want to try it out for low & slow. *DISCLAIMER* Many comparisons to FSX will be made in both the questions and answers. *DISCLAIMER* 1) Do joysticks/throttles work with Flight? 2) Are ground and sky textures more realistic [compared to FSX], along with autogen [buildings, houses, bridges etc]? 3) Are key landmarks worldwide featured? 4) How well are airports represented? Just landed at unique airport number 444. Coincidentally, the airport name is Hilltop which is fitting for me since students at my hometown college (WKU) are known as the Hilltoppers. This airport was tricky with all the houses nearby but was rather flat which was surprising given the name. Where is everyone else among unique airports? Have you focused on the seaplane bases yet? Did anyone figure out how to map the map to a controller button? Same topic...when assigning controls in the options menu what is the second option windows for and how do you access it? I just purchased a second throttle and am trying to map some other controls to it. There was some old threads on here about editing the controls file.........anybody know where to find them?

I'm attempting to fully restore MS Flight after a reinstall. I've re-downloaded content and copied the files from: C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Flight This restored the pilot profile. However the options, including graphics and controls, seem to be stored elsewhere. Where could they be? I spent a lot of time configuring the graphics and controls for best performance and handling, so I would like to avoid doing that again, particularly since I can't remember what settings I used last time.

And we thought the Iditarod caches were complete. Silly us. I'm not sure, but we might complete the North route now. Heck, why not since we're all in the Iditarod mode anyhow. This looks like a pretty long flight. Maybe I'll take the F4U or the Mustang for this one. Enjoy.

So I googled around but didn't find any summary of the flights they were doing and no flight plans or similar too. I've had to reinstall MS Flight on a fresh system. When I try to redownload my content I just get an error message, both in game and if I click the Games For Windows Live Marketplace icon. I've attached an image of the error message (from the Games for Windows Live Marketplace). It starts with "Connection error Can't start the program. There may be a problem with your Internet connection or the LIVE service." I've spent hours searching the web for a solution without success.
