I think this is a first. We go to a gas pump in Kotezebue. I'm sure this will be a good one though, due to the person who submitted it. Thanks Albacoretunaman. Enjoy.

As of 08/11/13 there have been 11 unique Hawaiian Lighthouse Aerocaches posted. I have submitted the other 17 for a total of 28 in all. A few of the larger ones light up at night, making them easier to spot. Not sure how many will actually get posted … just a heads up to you other flying cachers out there.

The description says it is located on the SW corner of the island. Don't know which one yet, but with this information I'm sure we can find it. Submitted by AlbacoreTunaman. Thanks. Enjoy.

  7. Hi guys, 4 or 5 days ago Flight just stopped working for me. It loads through the initial screens but about 5 seconds after the "Click any Key" screen comes up I get a message that Flight is shutting down. I imagine I will have to contact Steam to get this resolved but I thought I'd try here just in case somebody had seen the problem and maybe knew the cure. Things always get so complicated trying to work with Steam Support or such is my experience. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Tom Wunder

Hello Everyone, Here are the links to my repaints for MSF: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=5A092E4811A23EAC!105 Pictures of the repaints: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=5A092E4811A23EAC!104&authkey=!ABQMegulH7RxLYI Keep in mind the reason why I put them in the public folder of my skydrive is to keep everything organized and simplified while directing yall to one link. Also, these repaints are subject to updates, whether new liveries for same plane type or enhancements of exsiting liveries. If this happens I will post which liveries were updated or which had new liveries added. Enjoy and fun flying! :p0504: F50ACE

  9. Started by Heimi,

Anybody else experienced faulty statistics in the game and via Live? I didn`t checked everything, but i made notes of some statistic by myself. Maybe it has to do with a reinstallation i made some weeks ago, but i`m not sure. Anyway i thought everything is stored online. For example: I`ve flown more than 160 hours on the Maule Goldilocks, about 20 hours in the blue one. The Hobbs Meter shows 64 hours in the Goldilocks and live statistics says 71:43 hours. For the aiport it says i landed on 62 unique airports, but on my list i counted 273 so far.

Time for Moe's odd question of the week. Has anyone tried mapping the starter with success to a button or keystroke? Would something like this http://www.chproducts.com/Multi-Function-Panel-v13-d-724.html work or be useful to Flight for this and other functions? Thanks again Moe

  12. Some interesting pictures I took at Air Venture of the FM-2 Wild Cat that was recently recovered from a depth 200 feet under Lake Michigan. It has been upside down in the sand for 70 years. There are still about 200 aircraft down there that need to be recovered soon or there will be nothing left. However, it is like pulling teeth to get approval from the US Navy to recover them. And for comparison, what it would have looked like before it went in the drink. Steve

Ignore the Bing Hint, and just follow the road eastwards. We'd had a nice flight downstream to Arctic Angel / Delta Dave's at the confluence of the Delta and Tanana rivers. Enjoyable detour, with a couple of bridges (Luis ?). Then started again from scratch, but headed east. When I first saw this aerocache, I thought it was a repeat / duplicate AOTD - Tanana Crossing CLUE - Pick up the Alaska Highway and follow it to the end, but don't stop there! Submitted by community member Air1 HINT - Confluence of the Delta and Tanana rivers AOTD - Big Delta CLUE - Where the Delta River meets the Tanana River. HINT - Big Delta, AK

For those that think the Icon 5A is just a cartoon in a Video game. I visited their booth again this year, a lot of interest. I saw a demonstration of the wing folding in action also. To bad there was not time to model the folding in the game/sim. They say that they would not normally paint the aircraft black ( makes it to hot inside) this paint job in to show off the internal workings. Still beautiful I would say!

Today we go to a new location for a lot of us I'm sure - Middleton Island, in the Gulf of Alaska. Here we should find an abandoned Air Force station. This is another submission by our community member and friend, Air1 (Steve). Thanks, Steve and everyone enjoy the hunt.

I'm just trying to spread the word about this petition. If you haven't already signed, the starter needs as many signatures as he can get. He's gotten the attention of the Flight community managers already and they are watching it. http://www.change.org/en-CA/petitions/microsoft-rehire-aces-studios-and-resume-work-on-flight-simulator-11
