Last week I purchased and downloaded both the pmdg 737 600/700 and the 800/900. When I open the PMDG about in FS9 is specifies PMDG Options Module Version 2.1 - Service Update 1 for 737NG 600/700/800/900 products. Have I the the latest software or must I download any updates from the PMDG download section? I am asking as I do not understand the PMDG update system!Love the product though.John

I usually fly 737 PMDG ( or try to). My flight planning is by aquiring a route using Flightaware then aeroplanner for sid , star, and airport diagram. All is well if the route is simple, meaning if the sid and star connect. HOWEVER, if waypoints are in between, I get stuck in the air because I don't know how to connect them to get a whole flight.Any helpThanks George KPHX

I know the product is a LONG way off but I thought I'd put in a paint request for something really special for the 737v2 version. The Yananyl Dreaming colour sceme used for a special quantas version of the 737Youtube Link - I reckon this would be something really cool for the release. It took 2000 man hours so it does give pmdg a little time lol.John Ellison

Hello All,I was just wondering what the general concensus was about wheather the upgrade to the 737 800/900 was worth getting. I have an older machine that runs FS9 very well but I won't even try FSX on it and with my second child on the way to upgrade hardware is out of the question. :( So I was wondering if that would be the way to go or is another PMDG for FS9 product recommended? I am looking for the most bang for my buck if you know what I mean :( Thank YouDave SandersonKSNA

I have FSX and I was wondering if it is possible to port these 2 planes over to FSX? If it is possible, can someone give me a link to instructions or tell me instructions in a post. I would really like to have the 737 and B19C or D for FS2004 in FSX.Thanks,Jeff

I've made many a flight with this great aircraft...then all of a sudden I get no response when I try to engage the A/T before takeoff (or anytime thereafter for that matter). Going through the same procedures each time. I am clueless. :( ..has anyone had this issue?Jim Parish

I've done some searching here in the forum but perhaps haven't used the right search terms. I was wondering if the 737 TNG for FS9 runs ok on Vista Ultimate 64 bit. I've finally got a system that will run FS9 well enough to add some complex aircraft, but it has 64 bit Vista and it doesn't work well with a couple of my other FS9 add-ons. I wanted to get the PMDG 737, but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have problems with this version of Vista. Also, I've got the Mike Ray Flying the Boeing Airliners for Sim Pilots manual. Should that be enough to help a newbie to complex aircraft to get airborne? Thanks!Ken Pryor

Hey folks,I have a weird problem concerning my PMDG B737 (plus upgrade). Every time I am on final in Berlin- Tegel (about five miles out) my FS2004 crashes with the following message:FS9.exe crashcausing module ntdll.dllNow, I searched the web for quite some time and appears, that this kind of crash appears randomly. However, I wanted to ask in this forum, if someone ever experienced any similar crash or failure. So, if you could help me.....ThanksSimon

Would anyone at PMDG development comment about whether there will be a 2D panel for the upcoming 737 or just a virtual panel? Since I'm one of those who primarily use a 2D panel rather than a Virtual panel I am more than mildly curious about what the future holds for this aircraft..Jack Fentress

Hi everyone,I can't make OFFSET work properly on my 737NG. I think I follow the instructions properly (first setting LATERAL OFFSET distance, then START WAYPOINT and END WAYPOINT then EXECing (?) the whole thing. On the ND, the OFFSET track is displayed in three segments : first segment (branching off from the flightplan track) is a plain line, but the offset segment parallelling the flightplan track remains a dotted line and when the plane reaches this second segment, it will not turn and it just continues freely on the "branch off" heading. The last segment (returning to the main track) is also a plain line but unfortunately I never get there. If I go back to LEGS, selec…

hi everyone, i feel justified in making this point, although it will probably be overlooked due to the posts concerning the J41 with all the complaints about it real or otherwise. it seems strange to me that PMDG could produce such a complex aircraft like the J41 in apparenty double quick time, whereas we are constantly being told to be patient for the release of the 737ng2 which has been on the go for an age. i feel the J41 is a distraction for the time being in the hope that the 737ng2 lovers fs9 and fsx will keep quiet. the developers of the 737ng2 must be taking dancing lessons in between times - slow slow quick quick slow. richard welsh

Hi guys!I'm posting this question from a fellow simmer.I am flying one of those "delivery flights" and yesterday I flew a 7 hour leg from Anchorage to Sapporo, Japan. Yes, I needed to take 100% fuel, but per the fuel planner it was enough for the trip + alternate + reserve. On my way, the FMC told me I do not have enough fuel. I started observing carefully, and here are two screens while I was going to ATU, 260 nm out, the FMC shows me (FMC01.jpg) I will have 11.4 K lbs remaining at that way point. How is that possible if I now have 27.5 K lbs and I am burning 5.5 Klbs/hour flying at 450 knots ground speed?Well ... after I got to ATU (see FMC02.jpg), I actually had 24.2 K …

Hi all,I know this is pretty early in the development process, but will there be a 2D panel for the NGX? The lack of a 2D panel in the J41 is pretty disappointing for me. I understand the VC in this plane is fairly impressive, but as a visual artist, the visual lack of a 1:1 relationship between a texel and a pixel has always bugged me.I'm a big fan of PMDG, and purchased the 747 and 737NG for FS9 when they came out, although I'm not using them currently (I moved computers, now I have to pay to redownload stuff that I validly purchased? I know the fee is small, but you've got my customer information. That's a whole different thread though...). I'd love to get the next big…

Hello, I am trying to use the load manager for the 737 in FS9. However, the sliders will not work for the single class 736 and 737 (they work for the mixed class). Also there are no tabs for the 738 and 739 in either configuration. I have all the latest updates as well. I tried to do an unistall then reinstall but the unistaller hangs when I run it. Any ideas? Thanks, Dave S

My dear friends,After more than 3 years flying the NG-700, my airline has recently started to operate the '800 (winglet equipped of course).Things are quite similar between the 700 and the 800. Perhaps one of the main differences is the tailstrike risk at take off: low in the 700 and high in the 800. Some test flights have showed me that is more difficult to avoid a tailstrike in the 800 than in the 747.I normally load my NG-800 with 170 pax, wing tanks full and 1000 kg of fuel in the centre tank. That makes a typical TOW of 67.000 kg. I use flaps 5, trim is 4.8, TO-1=95%, V1=141, Vr=142 and V2=147.So, I've stablished the following take off technique:1.- Initial rotation …
