I recently added a new mobo and CPU and upgraded to Win7. I reinstalled everything but am not sure what version of the 800/900 series I have installed. How can I tell if I have the latest version?Thanks.John

HI pmdg my freinds.can you gyus tells us a lilltle about what fps we can espect in the upcomming 737 ngx i have already the 4100 from you and it is running ok in copenhagen i have about 20-30 fps with REX oncan i espect about the same in the 737 ngx.i know it is a very har quastion to answer!i have a i7 920 clocked to 3,8 ghx a gtx 280 and a velocieraptor 300 gb and 6 gb 1600 mhz kingston memory.thanks for any answer. :( ps:i maybe gonna bye the i7 980x from intel when it comes i have not decided 100% yet.

Hi AllI am getting an EFIS / Nav disagree message in approach mode on the efis when tuned into a valid ILS frequency on all ILS approaches, the approach is working and I can see it active on the EFIS in approach mode but still getting the writing across the efis screen as soon as I tune in the ILS, this happens on all models of the 737, anybody know why this is happening, this error is mentioned briefly in the 737 PMDG AOM but does not indicate why, thanksWayne

I am facing a problem, only with PMDG aircrafts. When I replay a takeoff, the moment the screen opens with aircraft either on the taxiway or runway , it bangs slightly to the ground which triggers the crash effect (fire and smoke) but continues to take-off with smoke and fire around it. Why does it bang to the ground ? Please advise a solution to the problem . Ramana

Tom ChorleyHi can anyone assist with this error code (rnwy/app crs error) which appears in the FMC on approach after engaging APP?I'm not sure what it indicates as continuing with approach works OK even after this error message!I will be grateful for any indicators as to why or how This can be rectified.Tom

I bought the PMDG 737-600/700 a few weeks ago and every thing ran pretty good since one special, in my opinion verry strange fault appeared. I installed a few liveries (Air Berlin, British Airways, KLM and Ryanair - in this order), which worked all verry good. One day later, I wanted to install the HLX livery. During the setup there were no problems, but the new livery didn't appeared in the FS, so I installed it again but it still don't worked. Afterwords, I did the same with some other liveries like SAS, US Airways and so on, but nothing worked anymore. So I deinstalled the PMDG 737-600/700 and reinstalled it. Hello all,my first post here so be gentle :)I have a really simple one for you all.I basically need to know how to turn the engines on the 737 off completely.Here is what i can do (or have done so far)When i get in the plane to start a flight it is already running, thats fine but im required to start a flight with the engines off for my VA. I have used SHIFT CTRL F1 and 1 engine (left) turns off completely. CTRL E starts it back up again after a few minutes but how do i get engine 2 (right) off. Im not too sure if the VA program will pick up on only 1 engine being off or if i require both, however id much prefer to just know how to turn off both.As a side note, i know it …

Hi All.Could someone help me out with this situation.I have downloaded different liveries for the 737-600 NG and installed them using the automatic insall that comes with the download.And then checked in the FS9 folder under aircraft-PMDG 737-600 and all the folders are there example 'TEXTURE.AC' for the Air Canada one I believe. But when I run FS ACOF and select aircraft they just don't appear as a choice. It is strange because I have installed liveries for the B747-400 without any problems.There is on folder in the PMDG 737-600 folder that is not present on the B747 on it is named 'update textures for liveries' don't know what it does but maybe one of you guys know. HiI have flew many hours with 737-800 with no problems.Last night I loaded the model update.Today in the 700 & 800 the FMC is showing the fuel as 10.1 when I have 20,000 of fuel, if I load 18,400 lbs the FMC shows 8.4, seem to be loosing 10,000lb of fuel. The vref speeds will not calculate when you press the relevant LSK buttons, I guess if I can fix the fuel the vspd may sort itself out. Any help would be appreciated. Hi, I just recieved the PMDG MD-11 full manual set for Christmas and love them! I was just wondering if there will be a set of printed manuals for the upcoming FSX 737 NGX? If so will there be like a set of laminated checklists, flight crew operating manual, quick reference guide and aircraft systems and FMS supplement guides or something of that nature? Hello. I've been flying with PMDG 737 600/700 for two years and I recently purchased 800/900.I've been using three display monitors with Matrox triplehead2go for the instrument panels.I'm displaying all the instrument panels in my three monitors when I fly. As for 600/700 it's working fine but for 800/900, I'm having problem to downsizing the throttle panel which appears too wide and big and covers up overhead panel and other panels in my system. For 600/700, I can simply click and hold the side edge of the panel and reduce the size to the size I want, but for 800/900, I can not grab the side edge. I can grab the top and the bottom edge the throttle panel and shorten the …

Hey Guys,Posting this question for a friend who just got the 737NG and the 800/900 Pack.For some reason his VNAV button will not arm on the ground. At first i thought he was doing something wrong, so i tried it myself only to end up with the same result. Only solution is to ARM it once airborne(fixes the issue).FMC is all set up correctly and the plane behaves normally during the entire flight.Unlike VNAV, the LNAV button does ARM and illuminate.Leo Calzoni

Hi,I have searched high and low to try to find out how to fly a backcourse approach in the PMDG737NG. Is somebody able to help me who knows how to do one?My second question is about the FMC. When planning the STAR, often at major airports there may be (VOR's I think) which appear under the "Trans" heading. I have tried using this in the approach 2 times, and both times, I end up overflying the airport at my cruise altitude. I noticed on my last flight in the 737NG-700 for FS9 that the OFF SHED DESCENT came on on the cabin pressurization panel. No doors were opened and I cannot find any reference to the meaning for this warning light. Anyone know what it means and what caused it?Thanks.John

Hi allJust gotten windows 7 and installed my fs9 and all add ons..everything works perfectly except the 737 6/7/8/900.When programming the FMC it doesnt calculate my v speeds which is only minor and I can deal with. However as soon as I take off i get red tape along my airpspeed indicator no matter what flap setting I have and wheels up or down which results in constant overspeed. the authothrrottle doesnt always work either. i have uninstalled with the removal tool and reinstalled countless times. UAC is off.I also had to install in safe mode as the installers kept freezingAny ideas on how to fix this?i miss flying my RYR 738 :(

hey all..i have bumped into a very annoying problem with my 737 of PMDG.if someone could help me solve it i would thank him very much.few days ago i installed Windows7(by the way it is working great:D).as i finished with this step i started to install the FS9 and its addons(includes the PMDG737).when i was done with this i tested it and found that it works well. yesterday, i wanted to fly another flight..i opend the simulator and chose the aircraft and started the flight..i opend the overhead panel and started the start up..i opend the battery, stand by power etc and than i noticed that the generators and the APU GEN lights did not changed color to blue as required.furth…

HiI have found the event times within the acars very helpful for filing in pireps. However when I land after the first sector and start a second sector I can reset the fmc for the second sector but I cannot find a way to reset the event times.Any help would be appreciatted.David Campbell

Could someone please advise me as to how I can increase the volume of the cockpit call outs (V Speeds and RadAlt calls).In the FS9 Sound settings, I have Engines at 30, Cockpit 85 and Environment 60.In the PMDG/Sound menu, I have everything ticked and the slider at 70.With the above settings, the Call-Outs are barely audible above the engine noise and ATC chatter.Many thanksIan Oak-Rhind

I recently started flying online and I am having a problem when using the PMDG 738 together with Squawk Box 4. On the radio panel the transponder is set to standby, but online controllers will see me as if I have set it to C-mode (or TA/RA mode in the PMDG)Also using the Squawk Box panel to switch modes doesn't work. It is always in C-mode and when I click on the standby button, it will switch back to C-mode after 2 seconds.Has anyone encountered this problem before and has a solution for it?ThanksJeroen
