PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

All auto pilot functions on 737 NG 900 are working OK but I cant engaged the A/T knob to the "ARM" position. It shows the green light for a tenth of a second and goes off. So then I dont have the speed auto function ON. When I try to put the A/T knob to the "ARM" position a warning light starts to flash: I believe it says: "A/T PVRST". Any help?Thanks, Jose Landajo.

Love the PMDG 737! For some reason, I cannot seem to find the reason that when I advance the throttle for takeoff, I get the warning beep. There is no display anywhere indicating a problem... I've programmed the FMC, set the flaps, proper N1 derate, trim, (not sure how to do this accurately), auto-spoiler set, autobrakes set RTO, lights on, APU off, yaw damper on (have tried it off, no luck), generators set, fuel pumps set, pressurization set, and on and on... The warning stops immediately as the wheels leave runway... I feel like I'm at a dead end... Any ideas?FS9 with Vista... I've been trying to install repaints for pmdg 737 - 800/900. But they give me an error stating that " Cannot open PMDG 737 - 800 Aircaft.CFG file " Any Help ?

Hello!After installing the FS9.1 and the PMDG737 800/900 on a new PC-system (Win 7Pro, 64bit) I have an extreme problem with the 737 800/900.Mainly during a time of taxiing, the engines shutdown suddenly. Hi all, i seem to have developed a sound problem on the PMDG 737 600-900 series(inc upgrade) which only exists in the cockpit enviroment sounds. The problem is that at no specific time within a flight i get a sort of crackle interference noise in the background which is very annoying!!! This only happens with this add on and not with MS aircraft!If i use the Enviroment slider within settings of FS9 and move it to the left the crackling/interference noise (and most of the other background noises) go away!!I cant seem to isolate the problem sound file!!Can anyone help with this one!thanksMark

Just made a new install of Vista Home 32-b. on the same hardware as the previous install. For the first time I am encountering an installation problem with PMDG's 737 NG 600/700.Upon first install (V1.3 16jan04) of the CD-version into fs2004 , the installation program hangs, stating that it skips the instalation of a font into the windows\font directory. Also the windows sidebar disappears. (And reapperars after I shut down the installation routine). I found someone who started this issue (on page5), but has no answers. Hello there,I was cruising in VNAV mode to Teheran and I was looking into my approach procedure. I played with some fixes and waypoints, switched from ILS to a VOR/DME and back and then I noticed that my FMC went into descend mode. The descend path indicator with the diamond appeared and the CRZ page wasn't accessible. I still had a big part of my flightplan to go! I remember reading about a similar issue and if I recall correctly there was a way to to get back in CRZ mode. My whole VNAV path was wrong also, so I had to descend mostly with LVL CHG. Recently, i got a new PC, so i had to re-install FS9 and PMDG 737, so i load up the simulator, i find that the gauges are not on, then i go to the VC, and the gauges are blank, why is this, also, i am unable to press ESC and most keybaord functions are unavailable. This never happened on my old PC any suggestions? Also, it says that my FSUIPC is too old when its v3.8, why is this? Should i re-install?Regards-Karim

Don't get me wrong here; I'm certainly not looking to get flammed here...I recall a message from Robert somewhere in March stating that "in about 60 days we are able to show the first screenshots".I detect a trend at PMDG to become more and more like the guys at Level-D, meaning keeping everything extremely quiet until few weeks before release. Personally I don't like that approach (much more prefer the Airsimmer one with regular updates and throwing of candy...).Could someone from PMDG tell us anything about the NGX..... I have returned to FS9 and been installing some old friends, but I have encountered a problem with the 737 NG. I have the boxed version and it states in the updates that you need to install the 1.2 version prior to the 1.2 to 1.3. I cannot find the 1.2 update anywhere and taking the chance I installed 1.3, but it reports an error that a required GAU file is not the version it expects to find.I have also installed the 800/900 addon bought from PMDG direct and installed that and it 2 updates. Does this negate the requirement of the 1.2 update for the standard 737 NG?If not where can I find update 1.2, so that I can install and update to 1.3?Thanks in advanceJohn

I tried looking around on the forum for an answer, but seeing as the NGX is still in production, I figured I wouldn't find an answer. Being a real world pilot, I like to fly the heavier aircraft with a co-pilot and have been using fsx's shared cockpit with any aircraft capable of doing so. My question to the developers, is will the NGX be fully shared cockpit? I have heard, but not tried, the Maddog MD-80 has full support in this area, as both pilots can even see entries being input into the FMC. I have downloaded and installed yesterday both the 737-600/700 and 800/900. Should I have to install any update? The question has to see with the cockpit views with the 2D cockpit. While these views are normal for the 600/700 versions, with the 800 I only get black screens when I choose the view direction with the NUM keyboard. Only the 225

Just curious what addons some of you have that you have added to your aircraft. Myself, one that I have found useful is a gauge called whazzup.zip found at flightsim.com. It shows the exact position of the spoilers, ailerons, rudder and a few other things. Always looking for others to add.Chris Porter

Quick question - I did a search and looks like I am the only one having this issue, so I am sure it is something that I am doing wrong.Autobrake selection works fine pre-takeoff in RTO mode but will not arm on approach nor will it function. The yellow caution (not master caution, the one above the selector switch) stays illuminated and the autobrakes do not engage upon landing. Any suggestions?Autobrake works on all settings with other aircraft - just not my 737's.Thanks for any help.Gene Levulis
