PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

Hello,I recently reinstalled FS9 on my new Win 7 X64. After having installed the 737 I am experiencing a weird problem:on ground I am unable to select any lateral or vertical mode on the MCP. The only one active function is LNAV that turns on and immediately off with the obvious warning: FMC FIRST.As soon as I get airborne everything is running normal and I am able to select all the MCP functions.I am running a registered version 3.93 of FSUIPC. and the 737 is fully patched to the revision 1.3.Thank you for the help.Alberto

I just purchased the 737NG 800/900 upgrade via download a couple of days ago -- I had my 737NG 600/700 installed for about a month now. The 2D side views are not showing for the 800 and 900 aircraft, they work fine for the 600/700. I am a 2D panel user so I don't really care for the VC. I uninstalled both the 600/700 and the 800/900, re-installed them both and the 800/900 2D side views are still not showing, just a black screen. Do you guys know how can I get the 2D side views to work?Thank youKerkeFS9.1, XP Pro

Whilst running PMDG 737NG 600/700 in Flightsim 9 (FS2004) I am unable to get the AP to work correctly. Upon activating the AP after take-off the VNAV and LNAV buttons have a mind of their own and will not lock into the flight plan which had been programmed into the FMC. Good morning,Thanks to everyone who suggested checking the flightaware site. It is a great resource. For the most part I understand what everything means, but just a couple questions on programing. Here is a route from CYUL to CYEGYUL V352 J484 SASID 4700N 08000W 4830N 09000W 5000N 10000W REFEX J5151) so I know the first leg would be YUL via (direct)2) the V352 and J484 are airways/jetways. Would I put in SASID via (V352) then SASID via (J484) ?3) the 4700N 08000W 4830N 09000W 5000N 10000W I'm assuming are lat and long. How do they get entered into the FMC ?4) what happens when the last direction is a jetway (J515) ? Would it be CYEG via (J515) ?Thanks in advance.Cheers,C…

Hello,Just a quick question. I'm flying the 737-500 with FS9. I've been trying to fly from CYYC to CYEG. As I approach the top of descent I get a message on the FMC saying that the PTH DES NOT AVAILABLE. Is there a step I'm missing as I get near the point where I want to start my descent? The only information I don't put in the FMC during pre-flight is the approach rwy as I don't know what that'll be until I get to the airport.Thank you in advance.Cheers,colin

Hi all!I formatted my pc 2 days ago so i'm reinstalling all the add-on and sceneries of FS2004...All is fine but i have problems with the panel of the PMDG 737...I tried to reinstall it a lot of time and cancelling its files before installing it another time.But the problem still exist...Here there are the screenshots of my 2D panel:This panel may seems normal with battery off...but i have battery on and also the engines i hear that are running!In this screenshot of the overhead you can really notice that ther's a problem:You can see that the panel is partially off and on...and i can't use the panel light switch!What's the problem?

Hi All,How do I clean out the FMC and reinstall? Why, well it seems something went wrong recently during new programe installations into FS9...I have PMDG B1900 and 737 seris. Now when I try to programe a flight into the FMC the 7,8,9, and 0 keys are not registering correctly? I would sure appreciate a few quick tips on the reinstall of the FMC.Berne :(

As many guys experenced when T/O and APP I can see that spd/rest indicated 0 and there is rad bar which indicate overspeed appear all speed.For a test Gross weight in FMC is 94.8, Zero fuel weight is 91.3....And set flaps to 5 and v2 is 124 knots..Use TO/GA and take off.. when tires is off from ground red bar appear all part of Air speed indicator and spd rest tell:0/FRAPS.. When set flaps to 0 and take off with no flaps.. red bar is appear only above 340knots and spd rest tell:250/10000. So I think it's flap problem... No want take off with no flaps.How can I solve it???

Occasionally, when I start up the -700 I find that my magnetic compass and ND headings are both showing incorrect values. They will both indicate the same heading but it is off by about 130 degrees (i.e. I am facing 340 but the indicators show 210). This affects the LNAV function and makes navigation just a tad difficult.It does not happen at every airport and I have thus far only seen it operating at somer airports in the USA Northwest.

I have tried loading up both the 737-700 with both 2D Cockpit only as well as the virtual cockpit and everything looks fine until I select the overhead panel and the panels all disappear. Any ideas as I would like to take the 700 to retrace some recent flights. I did a search but nothing came up in a topics search or the knowledge database. I am using FS9.Gerry

I have 600/700 and 800/900 installed on my computer. I am trying to update the 600/700 so as to obtain working TCAS with those models. My 600/700 is version 1.3.My 800/900 .cfg files show them to be V1.0 build 30.I have downloaded the 800/900 service update v1.0 to v1.1 but When I run the installer I get a message stating "Incorrect Base Version. Version 1.0 or later is required to install this update" and can proceed no further.I am not sure how to proceed from here as until I can update the 800/900 to v 1.1 I am unable to run the model update to obtain the desired functionality to the 600/700 model. I was wondering if someone could tell if I give my friend my copy of the 737-600-900 if this is allowed. I no longer use it and its just collecting dust on my shelf. He cant run fsx on his rig as its pretty slow and old. He flies fs9 and I was just thinking what a great way to give him a real nice aircraft. Thanks in advanceRobert

I have the KGs selected in the drop-down options box for the 737. All the PFD displays are in kg so everything is ok there. However in the drop-down Aircraft>Fuel and Payload menu it will not show the fuel (or any of the weights) in kilograms. It's a bit annoying to have to do all my fuel calc in kgs then convert the fuel weight to lbs. It always used to show correctly in kgs when I had the 737 installed on my old computer. Anyone know how I can set kgs in the fuel load menu?Andy S

Had a landing today (PMDG 737-900) with a 15 knots of crosswind. How do you determine how to set the rudder trim? Shooting the ILS approach I could see where I needed to point the nose and just before touchdown I used quite a bit of rudder to line up center line and had a good landing but I assume that you could also just set the rudder trim instead of crabbing on down to touchdownIThanks,Chris Porter

Recently tried setting cabin pressure incorrectly to see what kind of alarm/warning lights I would get and how it affected fsPax. To my surprise, it didn't cause any problem.Aircraft: PMDG 737-700Procedure: Set cabin pressure select to MAN(ual). Open valve to full upen. Result: When in flight, the cabin pressure indicator does indeed show the cabin pressure matching the actual aircraft attitude and the pressure differential as minimal. In this respect, this is very well simulated. With the cabin pressure valve all the way open, this is what you would expect.
