Not sure whether this has been mentioned already, but here's a nice video with excerpts from a Lauda Air 737-800 flight to Funchal Madeira, Runway 23. Could have been a promotional video for your product :http://www.privatpilot.org/pilotenberichte...lflug/index.htm(Click right on "Film starten" to save it)Looking forward to fly your 737 with the gorgeous new Madeira scenery by Ptsim with it's tricky approach and unique lighting system for Funchal, Runway 05.And here's a second one for Hurghada, Egypt :http://www.privatpilot.org/pilotenberichte...video/index.htmPlay it loud, it rocks :)Mike

  2. Captains!I have spent the better part of my day/evening conducting a thorough, page by page review of the mechanical systems on our 737, and it occurred to me that many of you many never really see some of the complexity that has been added to the airplane unless you REALLY read the manual in depth....So, just for fun- here are a few things that our airplane will do:-> Differentiated flight/ground spoiler behavior.-> Spoilers can be disconnected or lost altogether with a hydraulic failure.-> Flaps can be operated normally or by the standby flap actuator.-> If you lose hydraulics (or fail to turn them on!) the gear will drop. But you won't be able to raise the…

Actually, I answered the question as well a couple of weeks ago. I said that we are still working on it and that we will let you know as soon as we have an answer (most likely, yes). Cheers!

On 11 Dec 02 Lefteris made the comment that there would be a "professional" version of the 737NG providing the means to run the various cockpit displays on separate PC's much like "Project Magenta".I have not seen any updates on this capability and it is not mentioned in the recent FAQ. Is this option still 'in the mix' and if so, would you provide on overview of what capabilities will be provided?I currently run FS on 3 systems: 1 with FS, the forward cockpit view and overhead panel; 1 with PFD/ND/EICAS on 2 monitors; 1 with the FMS/CDU. Will I be able to duplicate this presentation layout with the built-in capabilities of the 737NG product you are developing?Thanks.-mi…

tim4murphy:o I sure can't wait until this new bird arrives. I am looking forward to an FMC for the 737NG. I don't see many good renditions of the Braathens or the Malev liveries on any free downloads. I hope they come available soon after the release of the 737NG. I have been waiting forever for ARIANE to release them but they are so slow over there.

Hey everyone, I thought I would start a fresh post with this bit of information. I just read the post where people were talking about the handling of a 737NG. Let me tell you the one things that I have found funny. The fact that we can fly FS jet aircraft is nothing compared to the real thing. I once saw a video of 2 pilots a Captain and F/O in a 737NG sim. They were current 737-300 pilots and were converting. Wow you should have seen the mess that they made. The captain blew out tires I think, and as for the F/O......lets just say its stopped in the end, straight??? not a chance. All over the place. My point is, if these guys find it so hard changing from one series to a…

Hello, I was just wondering if you could please post a screenshot on the flaps. I noticed in one screenshot of the 600 version that the flaps seem to be a bit big and hang down when compared to real life photos. If so no problem, the rest is realistic, but just wanted to know if I could see a clearer picture of the system. [email protected]'t wait for the Southwest and ATA 800.

Your aircraft simply looks awesome and I think Ill have to reserve some $$$ on my plastic.A couple of my own questions.1. Are all the switches on the panel, overhead, and Throtttle quad be funtional. and if so?????2.. If I turn on the TAI will the engine gauges reflect the performance difference.3..Will the Fire Extingusher switches be fully functional and if so will they do as they really do in the real world. Id love to turn one of those switches and be in SPOT mode and watch the freon flow out of the cowlings...that would be cool.4...Will this AC quit if you run out of fuel.5..How about cabin pressurization. Will you be posting a list of initial release liverys soon. We…

My apologies if such a post is deemed unacceptable in accordance with the guidelines of this forum... I searched through both the rules and previous posts and found nothing so here she goes...Is an Alaska 737-790 in the works and if so two questions...1) Will it be included in the initial release?2) Can someone please post a picture of said aircraft? Thanks,Justin P.

As a 737NG flight deck builder, I'd love to see PF's aircraft include interfaces to all controls, similar to Wilco's 767PIC.Is this planned? Will you be able to assign keystrokes or tap into a DLL for this?thx.Kevin

Last night I gave you a little preview of the cabin and tonight I'll do the same for the cockpit. This is the 2D cockpit, NOT the virtual cockpit. That will come later, but you can expect it to look similar as I'm using the 2D one for textures. It's not done yet, some things have to be edited and others need to be added. Also the final version will have more details added, it wouldn't be a PMDG cockpit without PMDG JetPretzels and coffee cup.Enjoy!http://www.precisionmanuals.com/public/MH/FlightDeck.jpg

Oh boy oh boy, have I been waiting for someone to do the 737 NG. Only today did I read that you guys are also working on one, and from reading all the 737 related topics on this forum I am sure it will be a great product. I will be the first one in line :)One question though. For me the saving function is important. I don
