I am curious as to when B737 NG for FSX will be released. This is a favorite airplane for me to fly as I flew PMDG 737 in FS9.

hi all,i am flying the pmdg 900 for some time now without any problems.but since a few days, the autopilot does not work anymore in neither of the aircrafts. But only with PDMG aircrafts - other add-on planes just work fine. Here's the problem:i set the fmc with all data - after t/o switch on the a/p after climbing thru' 2000'the airplane starts to shake extremly left to right and vice versa before it startsto turn to set heading. second, the autopilot for vertical movements reacts as follows:set the ALT on the MCP to FL200 and v/s 2000 fpm spd is set to 280. the ac reachesthe altitude but instead of leveling out it shoots thru' the set altitude and increasesthe v/s to 6000…

Hi,I was lucky enough to be given a cockpit ride in a 737-800 the other day and the captain showed me a very cool feature of the EFIS.When pushed three times, the left mode button of the EFIS will show the vertical profile of your flight plan in the bottom half of the ND.maybe something for the new 737 ?cheersmartin

As the development team moves toward the NGX I am wondering if there is a formal way to make requests for the new aircraft. I am not trying to be pushy or to put any pressure on anyone, just wondering if there is a place for a "wish list." Ok, here's my wish: A HUD. I've spoken with Southwest pilots who fly without the autothrottle that say they can easily nail their speeds using their HUD. Hope it is a possiblity. Thanks, Don

Hi on PMDG's ops page they offer a software interface for the Go-Flight MCP Pro and EFIS units. When I try to purchase the software it seems as if it is no longer available. Does anyone know where I can get this software interface???

Hi guys, is there a posibility to run the 737 NG under FSX?

HII think that would be a great idea to have a fs9 version of the 737.the reason:by the moment there arethousens of people around the world using fs9 for the good performance and frame rates that we can get.i can get a medium of 50 FPS with everything to max, with add ons, scenerys...With fsx, i just get 13 FPS with normal graphics and without add onsperhaps in 2 years when the graphic cards will improved we could use FSX in good performance, but by the moment, in my case and i think that in the case of lots of people the use of fs9 a pair of years is guaranted.this means thta there is a good market to lunch a fs9 version of the new 737 as happened with MD-11.Miguel

Help please. I was assigned a holding pattern on a STAR to KTPA. The procedure indicates a left hand turn, however the FMC shows R turn. How do I change it to Left? I typed /L and that didn't do any good. Help please. Thanks!!

Hi, guys.I've just installed the PMDG 737-800/900 (I have the box version, bought in 2005). After starting FS (version 9.1), I select this aircraft, then start flight. All the screens in the panel appear black and almost all the switches don't work. The engines are running. Everything was file on my old PC, which run XP 32 sp2.I've used search, but unfortunately didn't find any solution.I would be really grateful if you help me.

Hi. I am new PMDG pilot. One question. It is driving me nuts. The generic PMDG fuel loader for the 737NG allows a change in load of passengers and / or freight to change the zero fuel weight -indirectly. BUT it does not allow me to change the FUEL load directly - only indirectly by changing the other loads. (The passengers and freight) When I try to change the actual fuel "number" by clicking in the box it won't let me do it. If I type new numbers nothing happens. Is there something I am missing?I want to simulate a low fuel load but WITHOUT increasing the passengers and freight weights and ending up with a very heavy aircraft - so that I can accurately and realistically re…

Hi there,I am reading the 737NG official Standard Operation Procedures and there's a section that is titled "Establish Electrical Power and Air Conditioning" -- and from what I have read, it is the part when the crew have done the safety exterior inspection, and safety interior inspection, and the next part to get the power running around the aircraft. So far I've had to check if the battery is supplying enough DC power (>= 23V). Basically that's the interior inspection (and ensuring a few other items are in their place). Then it goes onto the establishing electrical power part... it is about starting the APU which is fine; but it states something that doesn't make sen…

hello guys, i have been flying with the pmdg 737ng since day one, and when i feel the need to pass an hour or so i drop in a route, fuel up, take off and enjoy an hours flight, land and i feel aviation is simplicity itself with the 737. i have the md11 fs9 and by the time it takes me to get my head round this aircraft the notion of flying goes out the window. the md11 is a work of art and the pmdg team deserve all the accolades pertaining to this beauty, but i feel that when the 737ng has been updated to the standards necessary by the pmdg team that the 737 will be improved beyond expectations, Boeing know all about production of great aircraft. mark my words. richard w…

Hi All,I have been using the 737-600 package solely in an external drive for sometime ( FS9 ), lately I have added the 737-800 seris into the external drive but Im getting some conflict and if anyone knows of an obvious tweak to allow the 800 addon to run smooth please reply. To assist....I uninstalled both 737-600 packages from C and external drive. Then I loaded both 700/800 packages into the external drive (B drive). When I tried to run the programe no it would crash after the 800 was on the apron for 3or4 seconds? So I load up again with the same result. I then uninstalled all from B drive and loaded again the main C drive with both all is well here naturally. So to …

Hi,I have to say I am impressed with the MD-11 you guys will always be the best simulation developers! My favorite is still the 747 though.I am really anxious to see the 737 come out, I was just wondering how the production for the is coming along. I was also wondering if you have any sort of a time frame for it to come out. Just roughly, like a year, or a couple months?THANKS!-Chad

I am a bit confused on what updates, if any, I should install for the PMDG 737NG's. I have all 4 (600-900) but the aircraft.cfg's show different version numbers? My 600-700 CFG's have this:// VERSION 1.3// //Build 80//PATCHED FOR 737-800/900 VC Functionality r. 17JUL04 My 800-900 have this:// VERSION 1.0// //Build 30 I have downloaded all the available 737 updates but I don't want to just go off with them and screw something up. Which, if any should I install? Thanks! Victor Buck

On a recent night flight with a PMDG 737 I noticed that the landing/taxi lights show extreme gradient lines when in external (Spot) view. Since I recently went to an LCD monitor after years of CRT's, I thought I would switch aircraft and see if any others showed this. I tried the PIC 737, the LevelD 767, the Dreamfleet 727, the CaptainSim 707 and the IronKnuckles DC9...none showed the same gradient lines as the PMDG 737 did:This reduced image really doesn't show how visible these gradient lines are so, if you want to see a better shot:http://users.frii.com/viciii3/PMDGlandlights.jpgWhat's causing this in only the PMDG aircraft? Hello again.I been flying the 737-900 a little lately. My question is regarding the Vref speeds. When folloving the calculated Vref speed on approach and landing,I always approach with a less deck angle nose up pitch than on the other 737,s Specially if flap 40 is required.I know the basic wing of the 900 is the same as the other NG series 737,but are there modifications to flap or slats or is the wing mounted to the fuselage at a different angle so less pitch up is required and therfor preventing tail scrapes?Comments from the PMDG team or other enthusiasts are welcome.Best regardsOla Nielsen
