Hello,Sorry if this is already posted did a search and couldn't find anything but I have a problem with my thrust in the 737. It won't go below 60% n1 unless I shut off my engines completely. I am constantly going forward unless I put on the parking brake or hold down the brakes. Again sorry if this is already on here you can redirect me but thanks for the support.Kevin B.

Hello again folks.Now that I have the 73 in the air can someone tell me if the spoilers and speedbrakes are the same thing? I am setting the speedbrakes to Armed with the lever in the Throttle Panel when the tutorial tells me to arm the autospoilers. Is that correct? After landing I cannot get the lever on the Throttle panel to reset to the Down position. Is there a way to do this? The default '/' key does not operate the lever and I cannot see a keyboard option in the PMDG drop down menu. Regards...Ken

I bought the 737 base and NG on 04 October 08 - they are both File version 12.0.0.58849.Following a reinstall, I am presented with a panel that doesnt look right to me, with several gauges crammed into each of the two left-most displays.Which model updates and service updates should I install?

Hi Folks.I have tried to map the TO/GA to my yoke using FSUIPC but it does not work for me. Is the 737 not able to recognise input from FSUIPC? I have also tried using FS9's assignments option to map but that is not recognised either. Is clicking on the screw head the only option?Regards...Ken

Hi Folks.I realise that I am a 'Johnny come lately' to PMDG but I now have the 747 and the 737NG. Both are really nice. However, I am following Timothy M Metzinger's tutorial for the 737 and have discovered that the Auto Throttle will not arm. The tutorial sets the a/c up manually without using the FMC so I am unsure if I have missed something although I don't think so. Also I now have a strident warning beep every second. There is nothing showing as a caution and the flight deck is cold and dark. I moved the throttles to Idle on the ground and the beep went away but now it is back and I cannot stop it. I have not had the a/c long enough to recognise if this is a warning …

I fly both the PMDG 737NG and the 747-400 and Freighter. On the 747s usually once I've been given descent clearance from cruising altitude I'll tune in a lower altitude on the MCP, then I hit the DES NOW button on the FMC and basically I'll let the VNAV function control the rate of descent (using the throttle to adjust as needed) all the way down through 10,000 feet. where I'll swith to the V/S. This normally gives me about a 1800-2000 ft/min descent rate give or take depending on speed adjustments. I used to use this same method on the 737NG until recently, now when I hit the DES NOW button on the FMC the 737 will start descending, but the problem is that the descent …

Hi thereI wanted to know if there was a way to change the external spot view eyepoint for the 737-800/900?I have noticed that when in external spot view, on my screen, when I set the desired distance, there is a big space in front of the nose of the aircraft and it cuts off half the tail section, in other words the aircraft is not centred on screen in spot view?I don't have this problem with any other aircraft and I have alot of addons.Hope someone can help me? I tried to do a screenshot but for some reason it wont work.Kind RegardsGavin Moss

I have installed the 737 with all updates onton my new computer and now the Autopilot doesn't work at all. Let me first say I have many hours in the 737 and had no problems before flying it by the book.I have everything set up in the FMC and when linded up for takeoff all the propper annunciation on the PFD. I then spool the engines up a bit before clicking the screw for TOGA. When the screw is pressed nothing happens. Out of interest I manually set the power to takeoff thrust and got the 80kts, v1, rotate calls and took off. When I flight on the autopilot and LNAV and VNAV nothing happened except an unable next alt warning and the speed decresed unless I pushed the throt…

Hi, I have been getting this problem with my PMDG 737-600, 700, 800, 900.When ever I try to use my Keyboard, the 737 wont let me. When using other aircraft, my keyboard works.I try to Push Back, I cant.I like to fly using the keyboard (I have a joystick as well) because its quicker to press a key rather than go into all the windows and find the things i want.This has really been hassling me.If Anyone could please help, I would be very grateful.PS: No, the FMC Keyboard type isn't on, but weirdly my Keyboard works when I type in the FMC

The overhead panel in the 600/700 is not clickable at all! The night lighting is also non-functional and does not work when I click the light switches in the virtual panel on the 600 thru 900 series. I installed as directed by the PMDG team. That is, Removed all with the PMDG removal tool, Uninstalled FS9 using the Remove/Install software in the control panel, & then manually deleted any remaining FS9 folders etc. Then: I reinstalled FS9 & the 9.1 update, ran the installer for the 737 600/700 Ver1.3 and then the 737 800/900 Ver 1.1..So,........WTH is going on?? :(Regards,jack

Just downloaded the 737NG.Tried doing some cold-starts. Thing is, everytime I turn battery power on, this irritating beeping warning sound comes on. Some panel lights come on stating low pressure. Cant seem to turn the warning sound off no matter what I do. However, am still able to go through the entire startup sequence and startup the engines. I noticed the sec I take off, the sounds gone. What's wrong here? What's the warning telling me? How do I get rid of it?

Hi all,I recently purchased the 737 600/700 and 747-400 at the same time for FS9 and after nievely installing the 747 first i am having problems with the 737. The queen of the skies works fine, as does the MD-11 which was installed quite some time back. When i load the sid TNT3E from EGBB, fly runway heading,engage AP,lnav and vnav all is fine untilit needs to make a left turn to follow the sid (D018I), instead it does a right turn of about 180deg, ignores D018I and heads direct to DTY34.If i intercept the fmc and adjust heading by 30deg left,start the left turn, then click lnav it follows thepath correctly.A friend of mine has the 737-800 and it flys the sid perfectly and he tells me a lot has changed software wise and i should get the 737-800/900, surely as i have only recently purchased this i dont need to spend another

Hey,My PMDG 737 used to run without any problem (I'm using FS9), but lately when I turn on the autopilot shortly after takeoff, the planes nose pitches up sharply and rolls extremly to the right so there's no way I can get it back up again. I first thought I might have made some wrong settings in my FMC, but it also happens when I take off without the FMC. Please help that's my favourite plane but like that it's pretty much useless on longer flights....and shorter ones, too I need my autopilot :( .

I bought 737NG from the shop as download.Not all lightswitches are working properly for exterior lights.Logolight is always on and using the switch on the overhead doesn't change anything.Have someone experienced the same thing and does anybody know a fix for this?Stein Aasheim

Hello,I've bought the boxed PMDG B736/7 in a german store, retailed by aerosoft. I plan to buy the B738/9 from the PMDG store, which extends the B737.My question is if it will be compatible with the boxed aerosoft version or whether I'll expect any problems during the activation process.
