PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

    Hi,I'm learning how to use FMC (FMS) and programmed a flight described in manual.Takeoff seems to be ok, but then my plaine is flying in the 'runway direction' , no turn as I have programmed.It climbed to 10000 ft, but then goes down until I desable the AP and turn it up again.It looks like the AP or the F-Plan is no more activeI made a screen shot. Does anybody has an idea, what my mistake is :( Thanks in advanceRuedi

    Judging from the amount of posts I dedicate, if not fully, then partially, to the PMDG 737, you'd think I plan on buying it. Well, ys and no: I'm on the fence for this one. There are some thing I can't get a clear picture of, and one thing is the VC. Looking at the 600/700 base package, the VC seems to have an overhead filled with 3D knobs and buttons. However, when I look at the Avsim reviews which also includes the 800/900 addon package, I see the overhead is completely flat. This confuses me. So, when I buy the base package and the addon package to that (so I end up with 600/700/800/900), what overhead panel will I be getting? 3D knobs and buttons, or all flat?3D stuff…

    Reinstalling the PMDG 737-600/700(v1.3) & 800/900 on a fresh install of FS9 after being away for flight sim for awhile...On the PMDG website in the service updates page, for the 800/900, there is the service pack 1.1. Also for the 800/900 is a "Model Update" file as well. My question is do I need both and if so, does it matter which one I install first? If I missed this in a FAQ or readme file somewhere, my apologies.Cheers!Robert Rohwer

    I was on final for 10R at KPDX, everything seemed normal, and all of a sudden, I got a CWS P annunciator. This was odd, as I had been flying manually. I thought the airplane did a hardover and put me in the water on short final. After that flight, I've found that my joystick's axes have been reversed.On the problem flight, I think I tried to change some sensitivities with the rudder, but I didn't monkey with the assignments. I might've done something when I tried to update some AFCADs.I'm now also getting the FS2004 "Fuel is critically low" message. Seems like something has been corrupted or PEBKAC.Suggestions?

    I had just taken off from AAL for EDI and activatet VNAV and AP but the AP would not engage and GWS R and GWS P showed up in yellow on the PFD. I have no idea what it means and how to get rid of it again, but the AP would not engage.Any ideas anybody??

    I have been trying for two days now to get the liveries I downloaded for the -800 to show up. The problem is that I installed the paints correctly, put the paint in the 800 folder and add it to the cfg in order, but it just doesn't show up. I have already successfully installed one to show up with no vc, vc, and vc & cabin. Then I downloaded another one and it only shows up with no vc, regardless of the cfg entries for all models I put in. Then, I tried to install another one but it doesn't show up at all. I reallly want to know what the problem is so I can fly with them.Thanks,Bob Gitt

    Morning,As a long time 737-800 pilot, it was only today I decided to check the manual for any information pertaining to the stabillizer position during takeoff. I found two lovely tables detailing the -700 and -600 models, but nothing for the -800, -900 models. The FMC always displays the same number for stab trim, so one can only presume it's incorrect after seeing the various settings the manual suggests for the -600, -700.

    This problem, which I am experiencing, has been reported before but no real solution has been offered. On upgrading to the 800/900 series the sliders on Load Manager for these aircraft do not move and other aircraft data is not populated. The solution given is to un-install the programs using the un-installer tool and then to re-install. This seems rather drastic given that the problem seems to be that the loadmanager.ini file does not contain any data for the 800/900 aircraft. This has been reported before. Is it possible for this .ini file to be posted on the PMDG website?Thanks Alan Herbert

I've sent two followup emails asking for directions how to proceed, but have not heard back.Where do I go to get the download links?     Dear Forum Has anybody experienced a problem with installing 737NG for FS9 on a VISTA machine. I have installed the aircraft without any problems and can fly with it. The problem lies when I press ALT, bringing up the sub menu selecting PMDG/Options and all I get is a blank screen and need to restart the flight sim. Any ideas on how to rectify this. ( Yes I also have downloaded the updates and insured adequate security profiles where selected) Thanks in advance for any help. Dom Duhme

    hi, when i create a flightplan which includes a sid and star, when im nearing the descent rcd4 and vatsim always tell me to descend to flxxx which is approx. 40 -50 miles prior to the tod in the nd.if i dont fly with atc and descend at the calculated tod i usually end up busting the altitude or have to descend steeply.i dont know why this happens ive tried exporting flightplans from fsbuild but still have the same problem,when pilots program their fmc with a arrival do they put a runway in as well, ihave been doing this so maybe this is where im going wrong. any help please, jim mcpherson

    Hello and greeting all, thanks for enteringI would like to ask you to question about the 737ng arming...1) As i approach to the destination, i arm the speed brake as required. The green light apears but still, the brakes doesnt open on the touch.Is this known problem?do you have any solution?2)I searched in the FSUIPC, the 737NG keys and in the simulator command and still, couldnt find how can i arm the speed brakes using the controler or the keyboard.. further more, SHIFT+/ didnt work :S Is there any other way to arm it?Thank you very much for helping and have a great day! :(

    Hi,That is a bit strange but here I go.I flew B737-800 and suddenly that was what happened. When I pushed buttons like Master Switch or on overhead panel light switches, almost all switches on overhead the engine sound lowered a bit to gain again in couple of seconds. Really wierd. I think it is now a bit higher when it gains so I hardly can hear radar contact.So I need to push i.e. master switch to lower the engine sound for couple of seconds.Anyone experianced it?What is the solution. I reinstalled B737-600/700/800 from PMDG and deleted the fs9.cfg file with no success.I am running on Vista 32-bit.Cheers!
