PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

Hey guys, I have been flying the PMDG 737 for 6 or 7 years. Recently, on every flight the engines fail multiple times. I haven't changed anything procedure wise, nothing such as FSPax running, and nothing set in the PMDG fail menu. As well, no EICAS messages are showing up. Anyone know how I can fix this? I appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello everyone, This info will only be of interest to those simmers who like me do not carry out the proper procedures before flight, for example, for years now, through laziness, I started a flight with PMDG 737 - 600/700ng or MD11 at runway threshhold with engines running, loaded fuel, programmed the FMC did a quick check, took off and landed. Hello allI have an issue with the ailerons being 'stuck' when starting a flight and it takes several attempts moving the yoke to get them to react.I have another issue with the right reverser not working when reverse thrust is applied. For both these issues I have checked in FSUIPC and they are responding. In the aircraft software throttle window the reverser the isn't moving either. Problem for me ( with the reverser) is that it is random.Sometimes it will work and others not.I fly the 738 with FS9.Any ideas are very welcome.A collective thank you.Alan Watson

I dont fly my PMDG 737 much but when I do the sound inside the cockpit at climb and cruise cuts off and on. Outside sound is okay. I am using Win 7 64 bit. I have X fi soundblaster gamer card with latest 64 bit drivers. Havent seen this problem in the forums. I fly just about every addon in FS9 and FSX and havent had issue with sound in them. Just wondering if this is soundcard issue with 64 bit OS.

I'm now flying with 4 LCDs so I removed the center column from the main 2D panel bitmap and resized window01 to 1280 x 600 to more easily fit on my 4x3 17 inch 4th monitor. In all my tinkering I seem to have broken the ability to toggle the overhead panel "OFF" using the 'O' in the main panel switcher gauge (PMDG_737NG_Main!PanelSwitcher) -- it toggles 'On' fine, and all I have to do is right click and close overhead panel for it to go away, but I would still like to fix it if I can. I have several full Acronis backups from which I can replace the original gauge but I can't seem to find it -- not even with Windows search of the entire drive. (Probably in a .cab file.) …

HelloI would like to know which is the procedure to disangage teh APP during landing. It has happened I disangaed the app to follow a VOR before landing but it seems is not possible. Everytime I disangaed/engaged the A/P the app turned on. And no success switching to VOR/LOC or HDG.I had to made a G/A ?Thank in advanceAndrea

Hey guys at PMDG, i am currently in the process of modifying the VC Cockpit textures and 2D panel textures (TEXTURES ONLY) as 90% of people i talk to HATE the current look of the PMDG 737, i have shown a few people at my VA (Ryanair Virtual) some screenshots of my current progress (Still not finished yet) and they love it. As it is based on a real photo of a ryanair 737-800 cockpit taken by myself. Well after editing all the VC TEXTURES in the TEXTURE folder it is still not showing in the VC, I done research as to why this happens and people say the VC is just the 2D panels. (MCP, Overhead, FMC, Radios etc and some gauge bodys), I tryed editing these via Photoshop CS4 but…

Sorry If this topic is misplaced, but I didn't know where else to ask it. In preparation for the 737ngx, I purchased fsx. Strangely, I have my World of Ai packages installed, but the airports are pretty empty for some reason. In fs9, (I Have both sims now), my airports would be flooded with planes, but now in fsx, there are only a handful of planes at airports, and as you know, airports in fsx have plenty of parking. So what am I doing wrong that I have only a handful of ai planes at airports when I have the same number of packages as in fs9 (and in fs9, once again, my airports were completely flooded with planes.)?Alfredo Terrero On a side note, how can I …

I'm slowly being driven mad by discrepancies in the FMC database/FS9 scenery/approach plates with the 737NG. None of them seem to agree. I've dutifully updated the Aerac cycle to 1005, and downloaded the relevant plates, only to find on numerous occasions that the actual information in FS9 is different - runway designators are different and occasionally ILS frequencies and more.I'm not particularly interested in realism (as in having the latest up-to-date nav info) but would simply like everything to match up - any suggestions?What I'm really trying to do is to find a short, north-american route (c400 miles) that I can operate without having to print off a blizzard of S…

Using fspassengers I found that while on a flight engine #2 oil temperature was rising (in the yellow soon to be red). Is the procedure only to reduce thrust in that engine (which, by the way, is something that is difficult to do using the mouse and throttle quadrant)? If after the temperature is nearing normal to that of #1 and I increase thrust again in #2 and it rises again: what is the procedure then, if not the same procedure as before?Thanks,Chris Porter

I've been simming with this bird for a couple of weeks or so. Nice aircraft and, being familiar with the Wilco 737 Classic, the transition has been straightforward. My only issue is related to ILS approaches. Usually it works as intended, but from time to time, once armed the APP mode and when the locator is intercepted, or immediatly before that, the plane suddenly starts to climb, as if it would try to capture the glideslope. I've observed that this behaviour uses to happen when approaching at more than 3000 ft AGL, or when still descending to FAF altitude at the moment of capturing the LOC. Hello allI hope someone can help with a really niggling issue? When I start FS and select my saved flight, the opening screen is the overhead panel accompanied by a rapid clicking sound. This sound is the same as a rotary switch but much speeded up.I have to move the aircraft to a different gate or airport and save the flight and it's ok for a while. Then it happens again!!Part of my start checklist is to view the throttle panel from views/instrument views/throttles to make sure the fuel levers are off. When the above issue occurs the levers are off but when the flight starts normally (without the rapid clicking) the fuel levers are in the idle position. I don't…

I fly with fspassengers and today I was doing a flight when at cruise altitude I had a fuel imbalance on the left side. The center tank fuel pumps were already off (low fuel-expected) so I turned off the right tank pumps. the tanks on the right side continued to drain which showed to me a fuel leak but I still had enough fuel to make it to my destination airport. On my descent the right tanks drained completely but within 5 minutes both engines failed at the same time. I was wondering what procedure to use. I have no idea why they both shut down.
