PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

I am anxiously awaiting the NGX, and I have recently remembered PMDG once said they were going to do an A320. Is this project still active, or is it canceled?Edit: wow, sorry, I just realized I should have posted this in the general forum. Still, please answer in this same topic as don't want to start the same topic in the general forum.

Hi!Big problems with all the 737's. The battery seems to be dead, the DC amps and DC volts is 0 when i turn the battery on, there is no sound from the electrical either. I've tried to restart Flight Sim, but the problems remains.All aircrafts but the PMDG works fine. I've took a look in the Failures functions, in the FS default failures it somtimes says the Electrical has failed, and sometimes there is no failure at all.So why is my battery dead? By the way, there is a light thats saying "TR UNIT", i don't know what that is.Can anybody help me?

HiJust installed PMDG 737NG for FS2004When I select any type from the aircraft menu FS displays the "loading senery" message then bombs out to a microsoft error report message.FS is working fine otherwiseVersion is FS9.1At no point did I get asked to register or activate the software.....is this normal?I have installed PMDG 747 for FS2004 and FSX without any issues.Any help would be appreciated.CheersMike

I have scanned the forum but not found the explanation of this unexpected behaviour.When directed to descend from my cruise lvl (22k) to 12,000ft I used V/S, which disconnected VNAV. After reaching 12,000 I wanted to get back to VNAV in order to optimize speed: I accepted 12,000 as the new crz level (FMC had already entered it) and selected VNAV, expecting altitude to remain steady. However, a/c started a very slow descent. I thought it would be a short transient but it kept going far enough that I had to revert to LVL CHG to avoid upsetting my friendly Radar Contact controller.QNH was standard 1013 so it could not have been a FL vs Alt issue. Hello:I hope someone can help here. Everything was perfect until I installed FS GLobal 2005 (although this is a coincidence I think) as FS Global is onlty scenery.On approach in the 737 (all series) with the speed activated with auto throttle engaged, as the aircraft decends along the glidepath the speed declines to stall speed. The speed does not maintain the speed as set on the MCP. I've done several tests and the throttles to not spole upwards as the speed goes below the indicated speed on the MCP. The auto pilot CMD A is OFF. I am only using the auto throttle. When flying there isn't an issue. The speeds will follow the dialed MCP commands. It only appears to o…

When I do a cold start on the 737, I cannot arm the auto throttle and when I attempt to do so, I get a warning light saying 'A/T P/RST' Can someone tell me what it is that I am doing wrong?BB

Good day. I'm trying to set up my Saitek throttles to turn on the fuel switches rather than using the pedestal panel. I've set FSUIPC up to set the mixture to rich (which works with almost every other aircraft), but it will not turn them on. Is there a certain offset I need to write to so I can get the levers to turn off and on? Just wondering! Thanx.-Rick

If I do a missed approach and just happen to fly over the airport...even at 600 feet, It will end my route. Whats up with that?

So i already know that you can't save and return to the same flight in the 737 so I make short flights. I usually fly the 747 but the other day I re-download it the 737 and wanted to fly from Seattle to Midway. Half way into the flight I couldn't contact center at all. And the other thing that happened is all my avionics went dark, everything turned off.? Any help? Thank you!

Hi to everyone. As we all know saitek multi panel is not compatiable with PMDG for FS2004. And since there is still time for NGX to be relased I wonder if PMDG will make this new NGX compatiable with saitek products. Thnx from now.Guntac

When I restart the PC after to install the 737NG it show this problem:FSUIPC has a problem!The version of FS2004 detected is not compatible with this version of FSUIPC! It is build 9.01.40901...You need the correct version of FS2004.Check the Help-About: the build should be 9.00.30612.FSUIPC will terminate when you select OK.Any help please!!??Thanks!!!

I have the pmdg 600,700,800,900 I can't seem to find the pmdg load manager for the 737 series were is it ?

I have downloaded the latest Airac but it is not loaing into the FMC. Tha Ident field indicates 05/06 as the latest. I know I have loaded since then. I have reset everything including rebooting my PC. Any ideas ThanksGeorge KPHX

Hello allWhen in spot view and selecting the overhead panel from views/instrument panel/overhead panel there are rapid 'clicking' sounds (similar to a rotary switch being operated)and if I'm not quick enough to exit the overhead panel view, FS crashes. Interestingly at this point all the other panels appear blacked out and then disappear.It does appear only to happen in spot mode. Strange happenings!!!? Using FS9 with PMDG 737 800Thank youAW

Last night I sadly discovered that im not going to be able to run FSX with the the display as clear as i'd like, but with FS9 i can run all the complexities on extreme and it goes like a charm.With the bitter taste of dissapointment in my mouth im going to give my 737ng a Mid Life Up Grade!! I've been flying the PMDG 737's for some time, and despite a few gripes, I really like them. One thing I've wondered about, though, is whether or not the autothrottle is designed to retard to idle at 50ft AGL or so even if not in full autoland. I will generally hand-fly the final approach but trying to handle the throttle and fly at the same time can be difficult without a FO...Anyway, in my experience, when hand-flying the approach the autothrottle doesn't seem to idle and I am forced to deactivate it myself; certainly a bit of a distraction when trying to control the flare.-Eric SchultzEDIT: I had a hypothesis, and it turns out it was correct. hi guys,I know this has probably been asked before but iv looked at all the threads with similar problems and tried everything!Iv had the 737 600/700/800/900 for a while now but have only been using 2 liveries. qantas and pac blue. anyways lately i tried to install more but none of them show up in fs9. Iv looked in the directory and the liveries have been added in the cfg file, correct sequences etc. Each respective folder also has the textures in it but none of them show. I activated the run me after livery thing everytime and i have added liveries manually too. but no luck. iv re installed fs9 and the 737 and no liveries except show except the two that iv had before. i …

If I program my FMC while at the gate and enter my position on the LSK 1L and the airport designator k*** on LSK 2L then taxi to the runway does the computer recognize my position ?

Can't find an update anywhere. Does anyone know when the NGX might be released? I saw a post from January 2010 says in a few months, but the year is almost over, LOL
