Hello everyone.I have a question about the ND. In the nd i can see my flightplan. but all around it is black. My question is if it is possible to show a map in the nd so you can see where you are flying. (Like in the default fs 737 you can use the gps and then you see the map and where you are flying. So is it possible to do this so that you see where you are flying instead of all black around you in the ND. I hope it is clear what i mean, my english isn't that good.THNXRemy

I have been generally lazy and relied entirely on LNAV to get me around. When I decided recently it was time to work a little harder, I came across this puzzling problem.Flying SID BOGNA1M out of EGKK, I tuned OCK and MID VORs, only to find that both bearings and DMEs are totally wrong (see pic 1). Interestingly, the position vectors are OK! A little further, the brg/dist to SFD are OK but again completely out wrt GWC. Out of curiosity, I checked on a map if there was ANYthing at the brgs/distances indicated and found no navaid at all.Needless to say, this does not bother LNAV at all. It dutifully starts the initial turn 10nm from MID while the indicated distance is 3…

Hi, I'm just converting from the 737-300 to the 737-800, I've been using the PMDG 800 model for some time now & am very impressed by its accuracy.One thing I would like to do is to change the Navigation Display from Track Up to Heading Up to match the aircraft that I fly.Please can you tell me if it's possible, hopefully if so, how to do it.Thanks

I haven't got to the point where I am using the FMC yet, so I've been going on short low altitude flights to learn more about the navigation displays during ILS approaches where I set up the NAV radios manually. What I would like to do is navigate away from a VOR in NAV 2 with DME info, and have NAV 1 dialed in to the ILS frequency, also with DME info. Can someone please tell me how to do that in the most direct manual way, and get both to display on the navigation display. Thanks!

I was doing an offline flight into EGJB. The conditions were low visability, down to 1500m at night, wind 013/15 gusting 20. I was really please with the landing except the 737NG it wasn't slowing down. Then I realised the spoilers were happily doing nothing. :( It was a long over shoot. This seems to be happening a lot latley. Not sure why. I arm the spoilers before landing. Or at least I think I am. The green arm light is on anyway. :Thinking:Maybe I forgot auto brakes or something. :(

Hello everyone.I'm having a problem with the fuel planner from pmdg. I have a problem with the payload. When i click the button read payload, i get the error runtime error -6- overflow. When i want to board the fuel, that is not a problem. I tried it after a landing so at the end of a trip and then the fuel planner can read the payload. So it's weird. Am i doing something wrong? I set my pmdg on the gate at the desired airport, then set the payload in the aircraft menu of fs2004 and then i start the fuelplanner and it can't read the payload.Can someone please help me with this or is there another good fuelplanner which gets the payload with a single button click (just lik…

Hi Folks, looking forward so much to the release of the 737NGX, I was wondering which versions of the plane will be supported ? The latest pics "only" show the 737-800, and I was wondering if also other versions will be available with the package ?Also, the short description says that the NGX is the next evolution of the 737NG released for FS9, but there, two packs (600/700 and 800/900) have been released - does this (hopefully) mean all will be part of the upcoming NGX release ?thank youSteve

I have been practicing holding patterns, using the FMC HOLD PAGE. When entering the information the options are to hold at any of the fixes in the legs flightplan. But how one enters the holding on which the instructions are for example to hold at 20NM of VOR xxx on the 150 degree radial? is there any way to enter this?ThanksJuan

Hi All,If anyone has a few tips for the correct -800 settings from BASAL int to MAP point it would make intersting reading for me.In particular, can I tune two references for the VCV vor namely the 055 on one display and the 001 or 352 radials on another?The explanation I got from LAATCC website is for cockpits with two analogue VOR clocks I think,. Hello everyone i have a problem with the pmdg 737 and saving.When i save a flight with the ; button in FS2004 and later on i start that flight again, all my data from the FMC is lost and i have to put it in all again. This is with the PMDG 737. With the PMDG MD11 this does not occur and the data is still in the FMC. Is this a known problem? Cause when i like to practice f.e auto landings it is easier if i can save just before landing and then do that over and over again till it's good. Once again, i only have this problem with the pmdg 737, the pmdg MD11 works fine and the data stays in the FMC.thnx Remy van de Mortel

Hi all,Just booted up the system and chose the 737-700Ng.On trying to enter EGCC as originating airport, got the message "Not in the Database". Tried several other's i.e. EGLL.EGKK same story.Did notice that on selecting the PMDG, I didnt get the usual bar display as it loads the database.Cannot think what's gone AWOL, but also cannot find any database folder or the like in any of the models I have.Any help much appreciated.FS9 running on Win7Regards JohnT

Hi, I purchased PMDG 737 NG and the 800/900 series back in 2006 and the Aircraft was performing great under WIN XP. After installing WIN 7, I had a few issues but could all sort them out beside one. The standard PDMG livery is o.k. but all other liveries are not visible. Any resolution for this problem? Any upgrade for WIN 7 available? Thanks for your help. Regards Helmut

Hello allI'm using the 800/900. Am I right in believing that all the simualated controls on the throttle quadrant are 'mouse clickable'?If so does anyone have any idea why the mouse I'm using doesn't operate the flaps lever? Engines are running and the other controls respond to the mouse, with the exception of the speedbrake lever but this particular control isn't always affected!!!?Thanks in advanceAlan W

Been away for awhile and have forgotten some. Flying FMC entered route lax-sfo. I for some reason have waypoint that is taking me north for quite awhile. I want to turn west to quicken my flight time. I have tried deleting the WP but can't. Any help please.George KPHX

Hi,Im using FS9 in the 800. What system settings should I use to get the best climb set to FL340?I was trying level change but that sometimes can lead to erroneous rates of climb?I set rate of climb to about 2000 perminute, that works fine until reaching around FL280 thenthe airspeed bleeds down too much, and at 150 or lower well its just not safe and I find Im havingto disconnect autopilot and fly manually with a VERY slow rate of climb to reach FL340 or higher?As PMDG is a first class software set Im thinking perhaps my method is flawed, and Id be greatfulif you see obvious errors in my method and if so please reply.Regards,Berne

Well,I hope the PMDG 737NG is able to run in Microsoft flight as well. Maybe this new fligth simulation will arrive first.Another point will be the price of this product. One PMDG more cheap than Wilco, Ifly, Ariana and others could be a way to park these heavy in one hangar and fly PMDG. in other side, USD 80.00 per one heavy will be BS.thanksSilvio SilvaBrasil

I noticed this a couple of days ago... I will be at normal cruise altitude ie.FL320 to FL360 the bird will be flying along nicely and then will be like going on a roller coaster ride. I checked the trim setting and it will be set correctly for normal cruise flight but like this morning I stepped away for less than 2 mins and the bird decided to pitch up to over 5600 FPM ascent which caused the bird to stall. I went back and made sure the trim was cutoff and also checked to makre sure that the wing and engine anti ice were one. I was able to decend to 10000 ft got it back in level flight hit the CMD A button and the bird attempted to pitch nose high again. I turned off …

737 1.3 updated with "PMDG 737 800/900 VERSION 1.10" running 737-800 in VC mode. FS9 Win XP.After program FMC include push the buttons for gross weight etc. Take off works as expected, at 1000ft I engage AP with LNAV pre-selected I release my hands from yoke, the climb and turns work fine holding approx V2 speed (maybe + some 10-20 knts). At 2000 ft I push VNAV and the pitch INCREASE, slowly but stable increase until stall. After push VNAV I also look the red band for over/under -speed indication is red all the way. I repeat three take off include restart FS, same behavour.Anybody has some hint what can be wrong ?/ Lennart Vedin

Pmdg 737600/700/800/900The problem I have is in the 737/700 I program the fmc with the route but fly using atc. When I turn the autopilot on the altitude and heading work fine but the auto throttle won't work at all can anyone help me with this. Hello;I am using the PMDG 600/700/800/900 series 737 aircraft. I use 2D panels in FS9When looking through the main front window the viewpoint seems to be too low. This is especially evident on landing when I often have to alter the eye view placement to see the end of the runway.I want to alter the file so that the viewpoint of the main front window is a little higher.
