I have a full sized 737 simulator which uses the PMDG 737 -700 ported to FS X. This sim uses a Butt Kicker which provides vibration during the take-off roll. The unique PMDG soundset stops the vibration in the Butt Kicker once the a/c wheels leave the runway, providing a very realistic experience.I have been trying to determine what file in the soundset controls this mechanism but despite hours of experimentation, simply can't find the proper one. Does anyone know the answer to this? Thanks in advance.Harry

I have an anoying problem when switching airports with the PMDG 737. FS9 ATIS comes on and I cant remove or quiet it. I never use it anyway. How can I kill it for good?

Greetings:I'm missing the display that sits between the two FMC CDU's in the VC. I assume that's the lower EICAS. The popups work fine in the 2D Panel and VC but the display has a blank screen in both cases. Hello,All was good for several years on my PC with the PMDG 737 series.And yesterday evening, when i load the 737 for a flight in FS2004, all the screens (PFD, ND, EICAS) were black, some buttons aren't clickable and the texture of the overhead was strange.All the screens were black, but the engines were running and i can for example taxi.I try to uninstall the 737 from my pc with the removal tool, and reinstall it, but the same thing append.Before yesterday, the thing i do on my FS2004 was to install the Quality Wings 757. And i remark that this installer install the microsoft Visual Basic C++ 2005 Redistribuable too.So i try to restore my computer the day before this QW…

I purchased the Captain Sim 757 yesterday and after the install I try and load one of my PMDG aircraft and now I do not have any functiuonality to the Ground power or even the APU. I see where when I select the start function of the 737 it attempts to fire up but I get no response to the electrical system. is there maybe a cross linked file to the PMDG and CapSim birds?

Hi, can anyone help? I have just upgraded to Windows 7 and have reloaded PMDG 737NG 600.700.800 and 900 with the panel update. Everything works fine until I go into the PMDG menu (while running FS9) to change the panel layout. The screen goes blank and the only way I can get out of this is to re-start my computer.Any suggestions?Thanks

On the 737-800,900 panel when you put the flaps out the red lines showing max airspeed for that setting goes to the bottom of the gauge and stays there until the flaps are raised, it dosent matter what the airspeed is , I have reinstalled but have same problem any fix for this thanks.

In either FS9 or FSX PMDG/Flight Plans folder the are a multitude of flight plans. Each one has a three letter Dep/Arv designation. Can these plans be loaded individually into a FMC? If so, how is it accomplished?

When Programing the FMC I get a notice that KSEA has no runway 34L and one of the fixes is 789 miles instead of 43 miles. Any way I can fix these problems myself? Sorry about the rehash.Tim

Hi GuysI am learning the normal procedures in readiness for the release of the NG!!!I have a question about when is the APU normally started? In the boeing procedures, it is part of the preflight prep but says it can be delayed until just before start. It then goes on to state APU bleeds ON, should this item be skipped if you are delaying apu start?Also can anyone explain what is meant by the call out "bug up" in the climbout?Regards

Hi guys!I just installed FsGenesis + Ultimate Terrain + Ground Environment and now my PMDG 738 is not working right, even after a fresh install. As you can see in the picture I am lined up for 34R but the PFD shows 34R off to the side. Any one know the fix for this one? The FSX version of the 737 Next Generation aircraft has been coming soon for a long, long time, so I'm wondering...Can anyone tell me what the consequences are of installing the FS9 version, which does currently exist, into an FSX installation? Would it work at all, or would it function only with certain restrictions? What would those restrictions be?Thanks... Scott

I´m having big problems getting the autospoilers to deploy properly with the use of my CH-throttle quadrant. This is what happens: I arm the spoilers normally be moving the lever to "arm" position manually with the mouse-crusor. However whenever I touchdown the spoilers "snaps" down to the fully down position, and does not travel in the normal, smooth way.I just ask those of you who use PMDG and the CH-throttles to post your settings for "sensitivities" in FS9, your FSUIPC settings and your CH-manager settings!This would be greatly appreciated!Kind regards,Johan

Just bought and installed the 737 600/700 series. Installed went smooth. When I select any of the PMDG 737's when I click Fly Now, causes FS9 to crash to desktop or if I load another plane then try to switch it freezes my sim and I have to restart. Have 177 other free and payware planes that work well. Resolution is 1600x 1200 32 bit, GTS8600 Nvidia, 2 gb RAM. Thanks for any help, anxious to use it! I also have PMDG B1900 for years works well still.Robert

Finally got a good install after cleaning a couple old PMDG gauge files out of gauges folder. Now engines start, FMC functional but PFD stays black and autopilot buttons don't work. Any ideas? Thanks all.Robert

Hi,Recently a lot of my approaches have not been as they should be, and I have narrowed it down to the Auto Throttle not being activated and having to juggle throttle manually on approach ( a bad scenario ). Could I have just a few points on correct panel settings which will ensure activation of Auto Throttle please for the -800. I know the APP must be selected on left side of panel and then at approach LOC/APP with correct freq selected for arrival rw , and then APP for the glideslope, but speed is imperative so all good advice to ensure A/T speed control activated welcome....I do try to activate AT but it toggles back to the off position?Berne :(
