Hey guys, I justfinished a repaint and I was trying to load it up and its not showing up at all in my list of aircraft. I thought I did the cfg file correctly. But when I try to view in fsrepaint I get a error message saying "MDL file not found" ?? I had the 737 NG working for about a year, then I recently had a hard disk crash and had to reload FS9 and the 737. I set the default Cessna to have the avionics switch on, battery on, and engine off, then loaded the PMDG 737. With the battery switch on, the main panel is dark but the switches work. Even after starting the APU and turning on the APU generators, the main panel is still dark. This keeps me from starting the engines as I can't see N1/N2 to know when to move the throttle levers on. Should the main panel be on with just the battery switch on? I can't remember. Is this a known bug?

Hi. i am still new to the 737-800, and would like some help. i have programmed the FMC but when i take off i stall. i set RTO into position and depress the TOGA switch. i dont get the thrust that i need and then stall. should i select the auto throttle before i press the TOGA switch? i dont see any tutorals on take off. Hello, I have been trying to create a flightplan using my FMC but the SIDS and STARS won't show up whenever I try to do my Departure. This is really frustratiing as this does not allow me to do my flight. Is there anyway to get this? Thank You

Hello all, I'm reinstalling the legacy PMDG 737NG and have one of the early versions of the installer. On PMDG's site I see there is a 1.2 -> 1.3 service pack, however, I don't see any downloads that take the aircraft from 1.0 -> 1.2 in the first place so I'm unable to install this update. Does anyone know where this might reside? Or is there an all-in-one update? Thanks.

Hi Is it possible to uninstall PMDG B737 without reinstalling other PMDG a/c (B747, MD11)? I found on PMDG webpage Removal tool, but as I remember it will erase whole PMDG directory and some file like PMDGOption.dll necessary for B747 and MD11. Or should I only delete manually B737 files from PC. Thanks Edin H.

Hi. This problem has only surfaced in the past month or two - all was fine before (I have no idea what changes might have occurred to occasion this). I set autobrakes before landing and they engage fine, but now, when I set them to zero at about 60KIAS, braking continues, even when I try to toggle brakes off with my Saitek X52 or keyboard. Once the aircraft comes to a halt on the runway, then the brakes disengage and I can taxi off the runway. I have found a few old posts about this but no answers as yet. Anyone able to help with this? I bought the NG for FS9 way back when a PMDG 737 for FSX was just a dream. All my investments have been in FS9, scenery and aircraft. I bought the -600/-700 base pack and then the -800/-900 expansion pack. I have started dabbling in repaints for the FS9 PMDG and found one I want to do for the -900. Trouble is, it is a winglet repaint of a real world aircraft livery. In looking through my aircraft folders there is no winglet mdl file or air file for the -900, only for the -700 and -800, and the PMDG Paintkit for the -900 doesn't even show winglets in the base textures so it will do me absolutely no good trying to add winglets to my repaint. Hey all! I was looking into purchasing the PMDG 737NG, as the NGX is a bit pricey. I'm curious, does the 737NG support random system failures like the NGX? Or does it only offer a system similar to the default FS failures, where you set a system to fail and you know it will fail at a random time. I'm not necessarily asking about the maitainence failures exclusive to the NGX (although those sound impressive!) Thanks!

Greetings... Good to see the FS9 version 800 is still going strong :) Is there a way to increase the braking capability of the 800 auto brakes? What alteration to he aircraft.cfg file do I make? I find the auto brakes not at all realistic and setting RTO to 2 for a standard dry weather landing rarely pulls the aircraft to 60 kias before the runway begins to run out :( Thanks, Iain

HelloI am wondering if some kind person can help me with a few 'teething' problems I'm having with the PMDG 737-800.1) Rejected take-offs: they don't happen! With the autobrakes set to RTO, if I knock out the A/T and bring the thrust levers to idle on the take-off roll (yes, above eighty knots), the aircraft does not perform an RTO. Have I not configured something correctly here? Why does the RTO function not work?2) I have loaded a route into the FMC from FS Build. I have programmed the aircraft weight, V speeds etc. correctly. I was on approach and had just put in 1 degree of flaps in when my first officer told me that the flaps were stuck/locked in the up position. Oddly enough I could see that the flaps automatically continued to drop without any input from me with the flaps lever (i'm not sure this is realistic or not). Looking at the abnormal procedure checklists this is not addressed. I would appreciate some input.Thanks,Chris Porter

Can anyone explain why on most flights the FMC comes up with this message after I have landed and am taxiing to the gate? I always have selected the VRef on the FMC during approach, and the FMC shows it correctly at that time. I assume my being told that the VRef isn't selected whilst I am taxiing is a glitch?? I am hoping that someone could help me with this problem and that is when I do my night flights with the 737-800WL version I turn on the Taxi Light so i can taxi to the runway the Runway Turnoff lights come on automatically and it deoesnt matter if i use the RW turnoff switch in the overhead the RW turnoff lights stay on no matter what the RW switch is on so i would like to know if this is a bug or are the RW Turnoff lights hardcoded with the taxi light. Any help would be gladley appreciated,

I am starting to fly the PMDG 737ng legacy aircraft again-- after many years, I still love this model.I wonder if you guys can help me find the best repaints for this aircraft. I am particularly insterested in current American Ailines, Delta, United/Continental and United 738 WINGLET liveries, I can also use some Southest Airlines liveries.Additionally, can you recommend the best replacement sounds set for this plane?One more thing, are there any panel modifications that are worthwile?I don't mind paying for the above repaints, sounds and panel mods so payware is fine with me.How about any improved or optimized FDE?Thank you in advance!Kerke

I am a trifle confused at the data in the 737-800 (etc) fuel load estimations. According to the table a 2000-mile journey of 4h 40 mins at FL 370 should require 22,300 lb of fuel. However, when the journey is set up in the FMC, the fuel required is about 28,000lb. Both figures exclude diversion and contingency fuel.The discrepancy seems to be considerable.

1) I have noticed recently that my landing and taxi lights do not work in the 2D cockpit view but are present in the VC view and I do not know why this would be2) I am curious as to why on many ILS courses the INIT REF page will show one course setting but when the ILS signal becomes active on the PFD a different course will appear (usually off by a digit). I would suspect that it might be related to changes in AIRIC information but wouldn't both FMC and PDF read the information from the same source?3) I recall a few years ago that there was available a gauge to put the clock on the main 2D panel of the 600/700 so it would be visible in the M and Z modes.
