PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

hi every one.... i had a simple problem whit my B737 in FSX a few days ago my FSX crashed and i had to re install is again. after installing i decided to install my pmdg b737 just like always....but this time...after the installing finished i realized that there is a problem in my b737 altemeter system...because it shows some red lines on the PFD and these lines never leave the PFD even in cruise flight. i don't know why this happened....at previous times i didnt have this problem...i also tried to re install the B737 again but no difference happened. here is the picture that can describe my problem beter than words..!! did any body ha…

Recently I downloaded the PMDG's 737-880/900 for America and Alaska Airlines for FS2004. When I go to install, an error message appears reading that the PMDG 737 airstair door.bmp file cannot be open. I downloaded the file for a second time from PMDG and recieved the same results. I have reinstalled my MS after about 2 years and tried my first flight strangely enough when I try to take off with any of my PMDG 737s the aircraft yaws to left sharply. it had happened to me before but can't remember how I fixed it. it only happens with PMDG 737 all the others are ok including PMDG 747. I would appericiate if someone could help.

Hi, I have used the 737-800 for several years now. Some weeks ago, I started to use the virtual cockpit instead of the 2D cockpit. I noticed that the update rate of the 3D-instruments is very low (about 2-4 frames per second) which destroys the realistic atmosphere of the virtual cockcpit. Everything else (moving in the VC with TrackIR, scenery) is very smooth. It seems to be a problem with the gauges, not with my system (3,2 GHz, 2 GB Ram, 320 GB disk, ATI Radeon 4670). I read in another thread that this might be a problem with ATI cards, is that true? I noticed that the PMDG 747-400 gauges have no such stuttering! Hm... What can I do to get smooth runnin…

Hi Guys, My 737NG seems to be incapable of tracking the localiser whilst performing an ILS. It holds the glideslope perfectly. It seems to follow an offset track of about 3 or 4 degrees, and touches down on the grass. Have tried different airports with the same result. Have also tried the same approaches with the default 737 & 172, with perfect results. Its really got me flumoxed!. Some times I get the yellow "single channel" on the PFD, and other times, not. Have tried both A/Ps for dual channel, but I have never seen it work. I also seem to have lost the flaps up indicator numbers on the speed tape. Sirs: I seem to have a small simple problem of Sounds, When Im leaving flight (pressing ESC). The sounds (engine, enviroment, wind) seem to persist through End Flight. The plane works fine. To try to work my way around this problem, I have uninstalled FS 2004 (by PMDG instructions) reinstalled FS 2004. And tryed to Reload 737NG w/ V.9 update, and uninstalled useing the Uninstall Tool. Reloaded the Sim without the V.9 Update, Rebooting between each install. I tryed to find the GDI+ file to download but could not find it at MS.. Next I would like to try Deleteing the CFG file (is this recomended) another question where is It, could you give me the link where I can find it …

upon opening of a Saved flight ( 737ng San-Lax midflight) within a second the AP drops out and ALL FMC entries dissappear. The AC starts to decend, I thought one of the purposes of saving a flight was to save ALL of the settings so we can practice without resseting everything. Am I wrong in this assumtion?? does anyone have a simple ( if possible) procedure for when to activate LOC and APP during Autoland. (737NG of course). I have read many items on this but don't seem to get it. I get different result just about every time. I believe my FMC setup is OK. I have been following ATC ( no lnav) , Freq tuned as per Int Ref page, CRS, Rwy . I have been waitingt for ATC for final then hit LOC. When about DME 5 slect APP. How do I know when I capture GS? Thanks George KPHX

I try to find it in the lot of posts on this forum ,but I could not find anything except for a pmdg manual,but when I mouse click that URL the page gives an error.In the past there was a post about this subject.I like to know thw best realism setting kind regards Jeen

When I bought a new system it came with WIN7, I loaded my FS9 and PMDG 737, when I was on XP my mouse wheel would change the knobs on the APU just by rolling it, now I have to click the buttons to change setting. Is this normal, it is a pain to adj. V/S. thanks George Wallace

I've done loads of searches for an answer both on this forum & generally online, but whilst several threads are close to what's happening, nothing unfortunately is actually answering the problem. I've flown the PMDG 737NG for years & the last couple of days something weird is happening. For ILS landings, I fly the approach correctly, once instructed by ATC I intercept the localiser and the glideslope & all looks well. I've got GS on the PFDS so I know it's all correct, I even if I choose to go for autoland, I'll active the CMDB & flare comes up on the PFDS. I've got the ILS frequency in both NAV radios, so all should be fine, but at around 1500ft everythin…

Using FS9, I have just installed my PMDG 737NG and PMDG 747 'Queen of the Skies' on my new PC which has Windows 7 as the OS. Everything is great except the radio panels where the display of the frequencies on the Com radios and the Nav radios and the Transponder are indistinct - there is a "horizontal blank" through the numerical digists. Can anyone advise what I can do to rectify this problem? John

Hello everyone. I recently purchased the PMDG 737 600/700/800/900 for FS9 on CD. I installed the program in safe mode and now it's telling me that I need to install a GDI+ program since I use Windows 7. The website PMDG is broken, but I found an alternative link that works. I downloaded the file and it extracts to my desktop. It consists of two folders: asms and idw. I was on the phone with Microsoft who could not help me since it's a third-party software. My question, then, is this, where do I put these files? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Adrien Ivan

Hello all My 737 800/900 has developed an issue where the throttle levers advance when the engines are not running. FS always, since last week following a memory card upgrade crashes when PMDG is loaded, usually anywhere between 2-4 minutes of being loaded. I've tried default aircraft and it doesn't crash. The only issue I can see is the levers may somehow be causing this to happen Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ALW

(Using GF-Autopilot module as MCP) I am running PMDG 737-600/700 in FS2004 , and on a Windows XP computer. Does any have a script , that works with this setup. MY SETUP SO FAR DOES NOT WORK Properly. I'm trying to do an ILS approach onto runway 08 at Linz (LOWL). The FMC offers me an ILS approach to both 08 and 26 (110.55 and 109.3 resp). However even though the Approach page shows the ILS frequency and the runway length, the PFD doesn't show any ILS indications. Anyone any idea why and how to fix it please ?

Hello, i tried to fly a SID, where the 1st waypoint is 2nm in RWY direction, the 2nd waypoint is 5nm further, but a 110deg left turn has to be flown - from 340 deg RWY heading to 227 deg of the second leg. At about 1000 ft above ground i switched on the AP and pressed the LNAV and VNAV buttons. After reaching the 1st waypoint the AP tries a liitle bit to turn left, then right, once again left/right and after all it flies straight forward in RWY heading and after a while the LNAV light distinguishes. Hi everyone! I still own the PMDG NG FS( (Legacy Edition) and was wondering if anyone could do me a huge favor. I have been desperately searching for a repaint for the FS9 PMDG 737-800 of Southwest,s new -800. It is the same Southwest Canyon blue colors with a logo on the front saying "Warrior One". If anyone could make a repaint of this aircraft from textures of N8301J, I would be infinitely grateful. :)

My Saitek multi panel sort of works with the legacy 737: the flaps do, but none of the autopilot functions work. I am using the SPAD panel drivers to interface the panel to FS9. Does anyone know if there is a work-around to get the PMDG 737 to work with the Saitek multi panel?

A review on Avsim says that the PMDG 747 has a "pause at top of descent" option under the PMDG tab of the FS2004 menu. I can't find such an option. Has anyone found it specifically for FS9 legacy version? My software says it is PMDG Options Module Version 1.03 (Service Update 3).
