PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

Hi guys, First things first, I was looking to see if anybody had any new United post-merger PMDG liveries for the B737-700, 800, and 900. Secondly, I have been having some problems when trying to manual install certain liveries to one of my aircraft models. Everything is entered properly into the .cfg (I have cross referenced, replaced, etc), and as far as I can tell all the textures are fine. When I go to load the aircraft up in FS9, the liveries are not even listed. The only liveries are the non-winglets ones and the standard PMDG winglets one. Any ideas on what the issue may be? Thanks! When I enter the displayed temperature in my FMC, if it is a positive value, the arrival times go crazy. When I enter a negative value, it does not. What do I need to do to keep this from happening?

I just re-installed my windows and just setup fs9 and all PMDG 737 modells. I really need your help, I just dont know what's wrong here. I'm trying to setup my FMC pre-flight ESSA-ESPA wich is just 373.6 nm and my fuel calculation tells me i just need about 11.000 kg and even with 100% fuel my FMC tells me I will dont have enough fuel, whats wrong??

Hello, Having been running the FS9 737 600/700/800/900 on my XP Pro system for some considerable time, an issue has arisen I hope someone can help me solve, For example on inserting a flight plan in the CPU , EGSS to wherever, I get an error message "err runway 4 unknown, alternately EGCC to wherever, "err runway 5 unknown" the same nav data I've been using over 12 months is still available inthe PMDG folder. Any assistance appreciated Mike

Hi, I'm not a dev or anything but I've been trying to merge the Pmdg 737 panel with my IFly 737 exterior. I really hate the ifly panel as I can never see the runway when landing. Now that I have this in the correct forum I will try again. I am having issues reinstalling the PMDG B737 600/700 I had this running before but I had to refresh windows and had to reinstall it. I keep getting the message skipping Lucon.ttf Font and then the installer hangs up and goes in space and I have to stop it. I am using Windows 8 64 bit and I have posted a ticket at pmdg about this issue as well. But I figured it could not hurt to ask here. So far I have disabled Norton and still no luck I have searched my system and can not find this font any place so I am not sure why it is skipping it. Hello; I am try ing to fly the PMDG tuorial flight 2 in Tim Metzingers Tutoral and I am doing fine until I set the FMC to the 09ILS landing and get the DISCO. I fix the disco to go from MARCI to MONROY and I can see the path on the ND map but the aircraft does not turn to go to MONROY. I have tryed this several times but no luck. Any help would be appreaciated Bill

Greetings When I load PMDG 800 the engines turn off and cannot be started again. This is rather odd, as I also use another flight model, which starts with engines on. Any ideas? Thanks, WilloW

I had to reinstall the 600/700 due to a corrupt gauge. I did install it over the existing files. Everything works just fine after reinstall. Now when I try to switch to the 800 or 900 I get a crash. I tried reinstalling the 800/900 over my existing files but prior to installation I get the message must install 600/700. Not sure what to try next. Any help appreciated, Thanks Update: Found problem, registry problem and fixed with flight one's registry fixer.

Hello all: I am having trouble understanding the tables provided by PMDG Simulations respecting reduced thrust. Sometimes I create t/o issues and while I understand the concept, but I don't understand the variables or when I should choose reduced thrusts. I certainly don't understand the FMC N1 LIMIT page where I have T/O derate choices and climb choices. Does someone have a reading link I may go to for help? --- or if there is an "expert" who can teach me here I would give you an email address where we can hook up outside of this forum. Hi Guys please can you help For years I have been using FS2004 with B747-400 Queen of the skies and a CH USB 3 lever Yoke with no problems. Now I am using PMDG 737 NG now when I advance the 3 levers forwards to rev the engines and get moving, they have the opposite effect of shutting the engines down. Im using Controls-Assignments-Joystick Axes My setting are presently Throttle Axes on Z axis Propeller Axes on Y rotation and Mixture Axes on X rotation, these settings were fine when using my B747-400 but now have a reverse effect on the 737NG wonder if anyone has had experience of this and can advise on alternative settings to correct this My Specs Wind …

Hello there! I have a question. I have the PMDG 737NG for FS9. I downloaded new liveries on AVSIM and I can run them no problem on the 737-700. However, the 800W, I downloaded a Delta repaint and it does not show up in my selection of aircraft. However, when I run FS9 as Admin, I can fly it. I flew my first full flight with it, and it flies great. But, for some reason the NAV radios will not set and the APPR button will not light up and it says NAV INVALID. I even chose a RWY that used the standard 110.30 as a freq, and the APPR button did not function and I got the NAV INVALID message. Hi Guys bit of advice please really interested in purchasing the PMDG B 737NG for FS2004 I understand the PMDG 737NG 600/700 serves as the base pack, I really want to get the 1.4 update PMDG 737NG 800/900, my question is I see this update priced 34.95p on the PMDG for the 737-800/900 yet I also see CD versions offering the 600-700 and 800-900 versions together in one　box set. Is the 737-800-900 included in this box set the very same one advertised separately and updated ? Hi all. I've been forced to temporarily install my PMDG 737NG for FS9 in a basic Vista PC. It runs, but only a few of the variations are available - no winglet versions, and just a few of the non-winglet versions. The variations missing from the 'Aircraft' selection window are actually present in the programme's Windows Aircraft folder; they just don't appear for selection within FS9 while it's running. I realise that PMDG did not have Vista in mind when this plane was made, and it has worked wonderfully well for me in XP, but I would like to get the NG going fully again. Is "T/C OAT" the actual temperature at cruise altitude or is it the deviation from standard temperature at cruise altitude? I checked the FMC manual, but this is not addressed.Thanks,Stacey

I've always found the PMDG 737 panel lighting difficult in night flights. The background is totally black, so that finding gear/throttle etc. levers is almost impossible. Yet again tonight I gave up and switched to daylight so I could see what I am doing! I've been browsing for some new panel lighting so that I can see the panel in the dark (surely in the real world pilots have a cockpit light, not just the lights from the instruments?!) - can anyone suggest one that would be suitable (rather than my installing by trial and error).Many thanks,Martin

My 737's Panel suddenly has lost its displays. Most of ,the switches seem to operate. The FMC also is dead. I have seen this before , but can't remember the fix. Help !!!! Thanks. CJ

Hey Guys (and Gals) I just got the PMDG 737 boxed set when it was on sale through Aerosoft and it's a great bird. The problem I'm having is getting some of the textures for the -800W to show up. I have the texture folder in place and the aircraft.cfg changed (added the plane I'm trying to put in) but when I go to pick the plane out...it's not there. Nothing at all. Everything is in place...unless I'm missing something. The only plane I have in there that I've added is in United colors (post merger). Can't add any AAL or Continental. Thanks for any help you folks can offer....

Greetings! Would anyone understand the logic behind selecting a v1 cut? When I select it under "failures" a box also appears with time in minutes and sure enough nothing happens at V1? Then sometimes it works perfect and the engine failure occurs at the V1 call. Very frusrtating after having entered all the performance and x-list and then nothing happens at V1? Hello fellow aviators, Pretty sure I've read all the post concerning this... I'm trying to enter 4526N07348W when building my route. My flight is departing cyul on runway 10 on the KIPAX4. SID, my flight plan routing then shows the 4526N07348W and then direct NAPEE etc... I have updated the nav data and 737-800NG and have tried entering these cordinates in every format, I think? Does anyone have any suggestions for this solution? Many thanks in advance! Hobbs
