PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

Hi everybodyI just bought the PMDG 737 NG ver 1.3 on the official PMDG website by download.My system is win 7 32 bits- my FS is FS2004 ACOF ver 9.1 with FSUIPC 3.98 installed & registered.My install of 737 NG, is a TRUE INSTALL! no crack or copy!So after install & reboot, i launch FS2004 & try to fly 737 NG...Engines works but all the avionics , instruments & the FMC are totally BLANK!I try many things: start with cold & dark & follow all the right procédures: still blank!I wrote to PMDG to ask help: NO ANSWER!!!So i'm really disappointed: spend 44.95 $ and lost my money for nothing!!Please can anyone HELP ME!!

Hello, I have the PMDG B737-700/600NG for FS9 and today I decided to make my own livery. I copied the original textures into a new folder and edited the tail,fuselage and enginge textures, saved as 32bit bmp images, then added the livery on the aircraft.cfg, ran FS9 and when I selected the plane FS9 crashed. Then I tried saving as 24bit bmps, the textures were grey, it's like as if there were no textures. I then copied the original tail, fuselage and engine textures and the plane was normal... What bit setting should I select to save the textures?Help!Thanks in advance.

I recently purchased the PMDG 737-6/700 for FS9---and all of my problems began. I see that a version of FSUIPC comes with the download; does this version need to be updated? Is it better to purchase a stand-alone version of FSUIPC? Is it safe to use any of the free registration keys, and if so does it help performance? When the game loads the monitor goes black for several seconds, and it appears that it opens twice with a quick glimpse of two menu bars overlapped...then in moves into the set-up screen. Occasionally, after I load my plane and flight plan information and I hit, “fly-now” the game will open with the lower right corner of the frame tiled in the upper …

Made a post in the general PMDG section as was advisted to post here instead...I have installed Reality XP's weather radar into the ND of my PMDG 737-700. I also have the Sandel ST3400 TAWS and was wondering if there was a mod to integrate that to the ND as well so the TRN button will work just like the WX button does for overlaying radar. I looked everywhere for this integration and only found that it was being worked on back in '05. Like the WX intigration, the waypoints, etc, show up under the weather radar overlay. Was hoping this could be achieved with the ST3400 as well. I could go the route where the display just sits there like a normal gauge without the bezel on,…

Hi everybody, I have a problem with the 737-800. Here's the thing:The autopilot is controlling the plane during approach and I let it stabilize the plane on the localizer and glide slope. As soon as the autopilot has done it I deactivate it and fly the plane manually (together with throttle). Everything is fine until approx. 100 feet above the ground - suddenly the plane banks steeply to the left and stabilizer trim automatically moves down very rapidly. I can regain control of bank, however the trim keeps moving down until touchdown despite my trying to move it up... I have FS9 but I only currently have window 7 64 bit.. but my question is will FS9 work in window 7 64bit and if it does, would the 737NG work in FS9 under window 7 64 bit... Hi,I was installing the PMDG 747-400 series this morning and an error came up saying "Installation cannot be completed. Flight Simulator is not installed." I know the typical place for FS9 to be installed is in the C:/ drive, but mine is in the F:/ drive.. I'm jsut wondering if this would have any effect on the installer looking in the wrong location for it?ThanksGreg

Im wondering if there is any way to remove the trim sound file, the WAV. file that is.I think if I just delete it i will get error messages when i trim as it will be looking for the file. But what if I record a wav file of nothing and name it the same as the trim wav. and replace it would it work??Or is there an easier way to do this? I know that we should be looking for realism but that that noise when you are trimming is just awful.thanks

I fly with fspassengers and have a setting of a 1% chance of failure for any given flight. On this flight while on approach I gave the command for my first officer to lower the flaps down to 1. After a few seconds he announced that the flaps were not going down. I confirmed this and went to the overhead panel, flipping open the alternate flaps cover and flipping the switch to "down". Not having used this feature I expected the flaps to go down in increments, not altogether. They went down to 40 (unkknown to me) and with all that was going on my aircraft stalled. Hi guys,Can anyone tell me if the ACARS in the PMDG 737 FMC can be used at all? I remember being told by someone that BA Virtual had managed to integrate it with FSACARS to send flight logs etc.Is it actually possible to link the PMDG ACARS with a third party ACARS software? Is there any way to link up the FMC ACARS to an independent server to download flightplans and to send ACARS logs etc?Cheers,Jim

After starting the FS2004 for another flight the following warning was showed " PMDG sound Processor" in the headline and as text "Error initializing Direct Sound. Application will now exit."I reinstalled the PMDG 737NG. But invane. The error box is still there. Who has the solution?

Hi guys,I am working on a new livery for my airline, and i am about to go nuts. The last piece i want to paint is the front wheel cover. I use DXTBmp to convert the original texture to bmp, edit with Photoshop and reconvert it with DXTBmp again to extended textures. But it never shows in FS. When I apply the same procedure to 737-700 instead of 777-800, i can paint the texture and it shows in FS. I also tried to copy the working texture from 737 and paste it to 738, but i was not successful.Please help me keep my sanity.

Out of the blue my 737 (600-900 updated) Load Manager has frozen. I can select model tabs but the sliders and input boxes are unresponsive: its the same trying the original icon in the PMDG folder and my Desktop icon.The aircraft appears to behave properly otherwise, although without the Loads I cant be sure, but everything was working fine.

Hi all,First of all, I am proud customer of PMDG 737 NG series.. But I have a question about steering wheel which is too sensitive. Is it a problem? I think that steering wheel of real 737ng is not that much sensitive. What can we do to bring it to reality?

I bought the FS9 B737-600 yesterday, to install on a new installation of Windows XP SP3. So it's the first PMDG product being installed on a fresh system. (I'll install my other PMDG products once I'm certain this is working ok). As i do when i install any complex addon, I did a test flight to check everything's working ok before i move on to add more things. When I am programming the FMC on my new B737-700, it freezes FS9. I have reinstalled with the 'repair' option, in case there was a problem with the installation, but the problem hasn't gone away. In fact it's freezing at the exact same point. I have question about crz speed, specifically slower than standard.You read a lot in the paper and see in the news how airlines are flying slower and making steeper approaches to save fuel. My question is; does the 737-700 burn less fuel if you fly slower? (In the sim of course)I've done numerous flights where my fuel burn has been pretty close to the same amount whether I'm flying at 0.785M or 0.750M. I know it would depend on numerous factors such as the wind/weight/OAT/etc... but lets say for example that the conditions were the same for a 2 hour flight from CLT to DFW. I've done this and the fuel burn has been pretty close to the same amount; so what am I missing.…

Hi there, Ive programmed all my FMC corrrectly, the route the perf weight and takeoff thrust setting. When i get to the Vspeeds i normally put in flaps "5". Now, i know it should calculate the Vspeeds when i put the flap setting in but it dosen't. Ive put the departure SID in and the runway. So whats going off? why wont it calculate VSpeeds???

Hello everyone, bearing in mind the close relationship between PMDG and Aerosoft, I came across in the Aerosoft Pre Order link that the PMDG 737 600.700.800.900 will be released on the 16.8.2010 at a cost of 29.99 euros. Surely anyone with any sense is hardly likely to buy this version in view of the pending release of the 737ngx. I have heard of bargain sales, but this one takes the biscuit. I am aware that you get weird textures in the VC during dusk in FS2004. However, this problem happens even at night and only when I start up the PMDG 737 in a cold and dark configuration. This problem, however, goes away once I am forced to start the engines via "Ctrl + E" because I can't see the overhead panel. When I shut down the engines again after the start (via Ctrl + E), the daytime textures in the VC return whereas the weird textures in the overhead panel don't.Images:This appears when engines are off, regardless and will come back. This only appears when you have never started the engine and does not come back.I do not have the -800/900. Only the -600/700.

I decided to buy some credits from Navigraph so I can get current info on my PMDG 737. The download worked perfectly, I guess. I mean I looked in the folders and all of the new AIRAC files were there.The real problem was that when I clicked on Fly Now in FS, 20 seconds after I clicked that, it's still at 0% and flight simulator crashes.Again I would really appreciate some help here!Thanks so much,Ryan / SWAPilot785
