PMDG 737 NG (Legacy Version)

Hello,I'm a big fan of the PMDG 737NG and PMDG 747. But what i find a littlebit disappointing is that the 737NG version doesn't have Flexible wings. Such as in the 747 Queen of skies....Can someone who is capable for it... maiby make them.... or does it allready excists ?Please help me ! It would make the flying so much more fun !Greets

Hi all, I suppose the short answer to this problem is forget the FS9 737ng and wait for the FSX version, the trouble is i like the FS9 aircraft despite its age. Recently i upgraded to Windows 7 home edition 64bit and installed the 600/700 everything 100% flies like a dream. I then installed the 800/900 with the model update again everything ok, except for the FMC popup. When i press the numeric key no. 0 the number 8 appears on the S/pad, press 8 and the 5 appears on the S/pad and so on. I tried changing the DPI size to 100% = 96 but this made no difference. I had been on the 125% DPI. I briefly searched the forum but could not find a similar problem posted. Could s…

HICan someone advise me how to solve this issue.In the PMDG series aircraft, when I turn the direction knob on the MCP the direction bug on the computer screen staggers. At first, if I turn the knob to the right, the bug will go left for a tad then solely stagger to the nominated direction.It’s almost like a lag in receiving the information form the turning of the knob.I am using a CP Flight MCP (hardware), however notice it does the same thing if I use the mouse on the MCP screen image.Ideas?? HIFirst, I did do a search but can not find the thread.A few years ago I came accross a thread which provided information on a much better window configuration for the PMDG 737 series. The configuration reset the windows so that appeared to be a much better natural viewpoint.Does anyone know the thread or configuration??Long shot I know - thanks, Iain

The 737's yoke is too sensible and disconnects the autopilot at the slightest touch. Does anybody knows how to lower the sensibility or to disable the yoke so I don't have this problem? It is very anoying because I have to reengage the autopilot and messes everything up if it happens on final approach.Thanks

Hi I have just installed the 800-900 addition and have noticed that the sliders dont work for 800-900 aircraft. They do for 600-700.Anyone have any solutions?Cheers Chris Durney

Hello,i have FS9 and PMDG products reinstalled after setup computer with new OP-system. I followed the instructions1. 737-6/7 2. 737-8/9 3. 744 full package. After realising that Win7 ultimate have some interesstingfeatures like UAC i'am now comfortable with the overall results. But, 737-6/7 coming up with there old VC andthere where not updated by the 737-8/9 package. I tried to overwrite again with 737-8/9 installer but nothingchanges.Any ideas?Thank you.RegardsAndreas Hövel

Hi Guys,As an avid flyer on FS9 and a very modified PMDG 737NG program, im starting to find it increasingly difficult to find new or "one off" (retrojet) liveries for the version I have.For instance- Im desperate for the Continental retrojet, aswell as the Ryanair dreamliner with the correct titles to name a couple but i can't find them! I refuse to use the POSKY model and PMDG panel... its PMDG ftw!Is it likely that -a- The good people that create these liveries will continue to do so for us that can't run FSX on our computers?!orb- Things will dry up completely once the NGX gets released?Whilst on that note, once the NGX is released, do we think that an update with come…

I have only had the PMDG 737 NG software for a day and am going through the Metzinger Advanced Tutorial. I can't set the com or nav radios from the radio panel that comes up when I press R on the 2D main panel. The transponder sets fine, but the ADF can't be set either. I am going crazy with this!Is there any solution? I was able to set the radios on the first flight but never since.

Using XP Home and FS9. Installed 737NG 600/700 ok and it runs fine. However when I go to use the Livery installer I invarably get the following message:-`' The file D:\Programm\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 2004\Aircraft\PMDG737-700\Aircraf.cfg Could not be opened. Access denied.'The installer then freezes until I get the MS indication the an error has occured.I am pretty sure that in the past I could install liveries, this was some while ago so am not sure. Any help on this one as it is pretty boring flying with the PMDG colour ! sorry guys !

I've owned and flown the PMDG 737NG for years now and love it. But, after all these years, I just discovered a bug in the Load Manager. When using the mixed configuration tabs, once you select your passenger count for both first class and coach, the passenger weight shown in the Load Manager will be calculated correctly. But when you save the config the Load Manager will only write the weight for the coach passengers into the aircraft config file. Hello!I have a problem with 737NG; aircraft follow route on efis, but with a light deviation; all runways are a little bit deviated when I'm right to take off, and when I fly an automatic approach, Autoland dosn't follow localizer , but a little bit on the right!I have this problem since last wekk, I installed nav data 1008 and now it's 1009.Could you help me?Yhank you!

This may have been addressed before but I haven't seen it. Occasionally on final approach, on glideslope and on localizer at about 500 ft the little ILS diamonds will all flash yellow and then the nose will pitch up. I have to disconnect the A/P & A/T then land manually. Am I missing something ? Jerry Sterner

Hey so I upgraded to a window 7 and transfer my FS9 to my new desktop.. Well I log in to my PMDG to download my 737 I purchase 3 years ago to my new desktop, it says URL has expired..
